Even without Riverdale's resident werewolf, we're given a campy and creepy chapter in what could potentially be a standout series in the world of Archie Horror Comics.

The book is worth the cover price for the art alone, so if the story can elevate in the next issue, it could become a standout series.

A majority of the book is just a collection of fight scenes and requisite exposition, interspersed with cheeky dialogue, the final pages deliver a truly unexpected reveal that not only makes sense to justify this story, but also many other of the horror-oriented Archie Comics, which makes the book worth the price of admission.

The book's art, from Pat & Tim Kennedy and Joe Eisma continues to be its strength.

Readers are taken through a number of universes, witnessing a variety of action sequences, only to earn a surreptitious climax that feels like it ends before we've realized the series is concluding.

Even the art features lots of big panels with generic backgrounds, feeling more like filler than an opportunity to tell a unique story, so while we can't give up hope on the concept entirely, it's surely off to an underwhelming, albeit inoffensive, start.

What's especially frustrating, in addition to the predictable premise, is that the art continues to barely exist outside of character designs, as a number of panels appear greyed-out or merely have rudimentary objects in the background, which ultimately amplifies a feeling of laziness with this entire endeavor.

Even if you're not familiar with the Detroit rockers, you're given a promising first installment in a zombie story, with a handful of tweaks to the well-worn apocalyptic narrative tropes, making for a strong premiere chapter, which we hope will amplify its accomplishments in subsequent installments.

Other zombie books might had more sophisticated storylines, but this book makes for an entertaining and action-packed experience for all readers, no matter how familiar you are with band.

We're given something that is so brief and full of so many ideas and, at the same time, ambiguous lulls that a clear vision for the experience never really comes through.

Unsurprisingly, this book is atmospheric and some might say "spooky," thanks not only to Mignola's narrative but also illustrations from Rachelle Aragno and colors by Dave Stewart.

Locust might not offer much escapism at the moment, but it's off to a strong start and will have readers swarming for more.

We both know exactly what is going on and still very little, making The Locust an unexpected post-apocalyptic horror story that's building up some compelling mythology for itself that we can't wait to learn more about.

Part of what has made Locust compelling is its lack of exposition and how it allowed the minimalism of the story to keep the audience engaged, with this history lesson about the main figures not feeling entirely fresh, but still being competent and engaging.

Both beautiful and bizarre, Love Romances will warm even the coldest of hearts with its engaging encounters.

Devout fans of Llovet will surely savor every panel, as each illustration offers everything readers love about her work, but newcomers might be tougher to win over with the book's ambling narrative.

This issue is just as gorgeous to look at as the debut of Luna and offers some insight into what's really going on, but it struggles with how much of its story it shows vs. how much it tells.

This installment likely also sets the stage for what Teresa (or should we say Luna) is headed towards, while also retroactively clarifying the steps that led to this point, making us even more excited for the future.

Part of what makes Luna so compelling is the way Maria Llovet wavers back and forth between the real and the unreal, seamlessly weaving them together so the reader is transported into a fugue state that resembles what the characters are going through.

The book might not be as dark or disturbing as some of her other genre efforts, but it still depicts a colorful and bombastic land of cosmic fantasy.

While this new iteration of Mars Attacks! might not be a home run for all readers, it delivers a cacophony of campy and comical carnage we expect from the title, honoring both Burton's film and the trading cards that burned images of Martian mayhem into our brains.

Instead of a, "Wow, isn't it funny to see Conan in the future?" their approach was far more existential and introspective, making for an engaging and thought-provoking narrative that will surely satisfy Conan fans.

The book deliver about as much as excitement as possible with its concept, though the premise is inherently flawed, likely only appealing to a certain subset of readers.

This issue might not have offered new insight into the concept, but we're given a compelling story depicting a post-apocalyptic world where one of the "villains" is given humanity, ultimately depicting the horrific lengths supposed heroes are willing to go to in hopes of ensuring the species wins the day.

Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Leonard Kirk's book manages to not only find ways to disturb us with its visuals, but also introduces compelling mythology to add even more layers to the concept, making for a strong debut entry into a promising series that also has one of the most exciting last-page reveals in a Marvel book in quite some time.

These robots make sense for the purpose of the story and serve merely as a speed bump towards a larger adventure as opposed to becoming the new focal point, which serves more as a strength. Add to that some exciting zombie-attack splash pages and the series is setting itself up to be one of the best Marvel Zombies storylines in years.

From images of hordes of undead heroes to shocking revelations, each page is more engaging than the next, leaving us not only satisfied by this issue but also excited for how the whole story will conclude with the upcoming final installment.

Resurrection arguably is as strong as the very first macabre Marvel Zombies series back in 2005, leaving us to hope that future iterations can tap into this series' precise blend of emotional motivations for our characters with heaping helpings of unsettling imagery sprinkled throughout.

Paving a new approach to the lore, setting the stage for exciting developments, and delivering compelling imagery, Marvel Zombies: Resurrection could become the most effective incarnation of the series since its debut.

Even if the dialogue doesn't win you over, the images are as ominous as ever, allowing the artwork to stand on its own as engaging material.

From start to finish, this issue delivers readers a "Greatest Hits" of mobster-era tropes, from bootlegging to jailbreaks to femme fatales igniting carnal desires, though the delivery of these sequences, as entertaining as they are, result in a disorienting experience.

Still, like with many middle chapters into an overall arc, this issue fails to get us any major reveals or inciting incidents to really push the narrative to new heights, serving more as a good opportunity to connect with Lou and hopefully set the stage for what he will endure in the back half of this storyline.

The werewolf adventures are gruesome, disturbing, and compelling, making for some of the most excitement and unsettling scenes in the book in quite some time, all while falling within the overall look and tone of Moonshine.

No matter what your connection to Morbius might be, this adventure has a clever concept that reminds readers of how timeless the Living Vampire is and what makes him so appealing.

In concept, tone, and narrative potential, Nailbiter Returns is off to an exciting and disturbing start.

Part of what made the debut issue of this sequel series so compelling is that you didn't need much knowledge about its predecessor to get caught up on the state of things, with this issue helping to fill the gaps on how the notorious Nailbiter could still be alive. In that regard, the narrative lulls a bit given the amount of exposition being delivered, but it still manages to keep the reader engaged with a number of gruesome panels depicting heinous crimes.

More than just being a rollercoaster ride, the book does also just enough insight into the upcoming journey to fulfill fans, making for an issue that is both narratively and visually rich.

Those hoping for more substance in the narrative, however, might be left disappointed, as this installment leans heavily on the action and keeps the overall story progression to a minimum.

This installment strikes a good balance of narrative momentum and violent chaos, both of which are what draw readers into this title, though neither component is necessarily stronger than any previous issue, resulting in this chapter largely feeling like an expository necessity to further the actual story being told.

We don't really know where Nailbiter Returns is going, but we're happy to sit back and enjoy the ride.

As one would imagine with a Nailbiter book, that backstory is sufficiently unsettling and twisted, though also somewhat underwhelming, but we're still invested enough to be interested in how the story wraps up.

With this being the final issue of this series, we won't spoil any of its reveals, but it surely ends with some surprising decisions by our main characters that fans likely weren't expecting.

The book is quite niche and manages to lean into its conceit effectively enough, though it never succeeds beyond its wacky premise.

The middle part of the "Invasion" storyline is all about getting each piece on the chess board into place before the infiltration can begin, yet the issue does manage to fit in some solid character bits.

This issue wasn't necessarily action-packed, but it offered some nice emotional bits for our characters who so desperately need things to go their way for once.

While it's far from being any sort of recap, this issue really helps get readers caught up in the world this story is unfolding in while also offering brief hints of what's to come in the future.

The issue itself might not have been outstanding, but it's just another reminder that the end of the series is on the way and the events of this issue were necessary to set the stage for the epic conclusion.

This issue might not have been jam-packed with action, but it was evident that the pieces are being moved into place for the book's finale, making fans eager to devour each issue in hopes of understanding what it all means.

Much of the issue involves characters standing around and talking, and not about anything all that important, which gives it a serious case of the "wheel spinnings."

Possibly because we know the crew is doomed, the characters were only ever conceptualized as one-dimensional stereotypes, but this efficient character creation doesn't do the book itself any favors.

Devout fans of Overwatch are sure to appreciate the conclusion of this story and the ways in which it enriches the world of the video game series, adding more emotion and complexity to the dystopic world.

This debut issue has largely just set the stage for the future of the series, and while we don't know what direction it could go into, it's off to a strong start.

With this second installment in Panya: The Mummy's Curse, there's a lot more telling than showing, resulting in lots of complex exposition that doesn't do much to move the narrative forward (or so it seems).

Rather than necessarily being a fulfilling narrative in its own right, this chapter similarly showcases how writer Mike Mignola has a mastery of mythology, injecting each encounter with lore and gravitas that makes every character Panya meets worthy of their own book.

While the series was frustrating, at times, fanatics of the franchise will fully be rewarded for taking a trip back in time to learn more about Panya.

Surely creatives will be able to sympathize with our mysteriously lead character and the sacrifices they have made for notoriety, though for all other readers, you'll be given what feels like an homage to Hellraiser, for better or worse, making for a promising start to this new anthology series, as we're given a succinct and surrealist nightmare.

Given the experience of Hill and Immonen, however, we won't be surprised if Plunge sets the standard for horror comics that explore the darkest parts of the planet, both literally and figuratively.

Much like the debut issue, this second chapter into the series continues to blend a number of polar, aquatic, and undead horror tropes into a compelling new narrative, though this installment was much wordier than its predecessor, which Joe Hill fans will likely appreciate while other riders might find it difficult to digest.

Sadly, this installment suffers due to the onslaught of information we're given, making us feel similar to the characters in how overwhelmed they are by the information being presented to them.

The book has finally found its groove and has set itself up to conclude with both unexpected and horrifying reveals, potentially staging itself to be one of the best new horror books of the year.

While the previous issue took the narrative into unexpected directions, this installment felt reminiscent of the predictable nature of earlier issues, running the gamut of various plot points from the best sci-fi stories in history.

If you've made it this far into the series, you'll surely enjoy this conclusion, even if the book ultimately feels like an homage to prolific storytellers that offered us more surprises.

After only one issue, the stage is set for Predator Hunters II to deliver readers all the sci-fi action that they've come to expect from the property, making this an incredibly promising title.

Much like the original Predator film had messy military politics, Predator: Hunters II is delivering similarly, proving there's more to this franchise than just terrors in the jungle.

If the next three issues deliver unbridled mayhem, it will surely appease a certain set of fans, but if you're looking to invest in any characters, no matter how quickly they meet their demise, this debut issue will surely be a disappointment.

Here's hoping this issue proves to be the beginning of some upward momentum for the series, as the familiar setting and characters could make this something worth reading for Predator fans.

While the story may not have had much narrative progression, the introduction of these other demons could lead to some horrific encounters in the future, with Blacky Shepherd's art being disgusting and evil to honor the time-honored creature design of Pumpkinhead.

Fans of Rainbow Brite are sure to appreciate what the upcoming journey will entail while readers unfamiliar with the character will appreciate the hopeful outlook in a world which currently has darkness around virtually every corner.

This new series is off to a strong start, delivering not only hand-to-hand combat to appease the action-orientated readers, but also the promise of more strategic warfare, in addition to Sonja herself acting like a total badass.

Sword and sandals fans will want to add this book to their pile, but those hoping for more Red Sonja action can sit this one out.

We don't know where this book could be going, but this twisted debut issue sure has us morbidly curious.

With the heavier bits of exposition out of the way, hopefully the next issue can offer readers something deserving of Romero's legacy.

The issue is ultimately fine, as zombies are the most interesting things the book has going for it, but caring about anyone's fate would likely improve the narrative.

If you prefer your zombie fare to be light on narrative and heavy on gore, then Road of the Dead: Highway to Hell is for you. If any manner of compelling story is your predilection, then maybe keep this one in your rearview.

Writer John Arcudi and artist David Rubin have seemingly dared one another to include as many fantastical details into this issue as possible, resulting in an overwhelming experience.

Despite the narrative sometimes lacking cohesion, artist David Rubn gives the reader the most bang for their buck, with every panel virtually overflowing with imaginative and detailed depictions of strange occurrences.

While we can't say this book is a sure-fire hit for everyone who might stumble across it, anyone hoping to see the Cimmerian return to his brutal glory will surely take comfort in the book, made all the more sweeter with a backup prose story that dives further into Conan's magical and mystic world.

If you're not reading The Savage Sword of Conan, you're missing out on one of the most fun new books of 2019.

While the narrative momentum may have slowed down slightly, the depictions of Conan's strength feel as though the burst off the page, putting Conan's impressive physique ahead of any need for compelling plot twists.

It's tough to see how the creative team could top themselves with a finale, but we can't wait to see what they pull off

The book makes good on the savagery of its title, in addition to delivering plenty of humor and a surprising amount of heart, which may or may not be at risk of suffering the effects of a wizard's poison.

The final issue in this arc wraps up an engaging adventure featuring the Barbarian, which might not reinvent the series, but ends with enough bloodshed to appease Conan fans.

Coming off of the previous arc of the book, which was overly convoluted, this new chapter in the Barbarian's story delivers battles, double-crosses, and fantastical dialogue, which is just about everything you want from such a book.

While it might be a strong Conan book, it's not an entirely fulfilling experience for all readers.

The story featuring Vampirella is the standout, as it offers audiences the character's signature sense of humor alongside the blood and beasts.

Finding the right blend of the playful and macabre, Shadecraft is setting the stage for a frightening story, regardless of whether those horrors come from the real world of navigating high school or from a darker realm of existence.

The book isn't entirely playful, however, as it culminates with a potentially game-changing reveal for our hero, which has us counting down the days until the next chapter debuts.

While previous issues leaned more heavily into the emotions and reactions of a high-schooler, this issue allows them to emerge much more organically, deftly blending together drama with humor to create a page-turning mystery.

With readers largely being as confused by Zadie's situation as she is herself, this issue finally answers some burning questions while still keeping the future of the narrative an enigma.

This issue, and the arc as a whole, is dark, spooky, hopeful, and charming, with Zadie sure to earn throngs of fans desperate for more Shadecraft.

For fans of superhero comics who prefer seeing protagonists grapple with a darkness that's not only overt but also more conceptual in nature, the voodoo spin on the supernatural subject matter offers unconventional iconography for familiar plot structures, making Shadowman one of the most promising horror revivals to hit the shelves in quite some time.

While there's surely an overall narrative to this issue, the main highlight is seeing Shadowman going head to head with a ghastly beast, which is as creepy and entertaining as a fan would like.

Knowing writer Cullen Bunn's history and previous work, all of this disorienting information will surely build towards something that will make it all make sense in retrospect, but, much like the main character himself, this issue will leave you feeling like you're still stuck in the shadows.

This helps to retroactively contextualize the horrors that came before this chapter, while also priming the reader for some truly exciting encounters, all while witnessing Shadowman's attempts to do what's right in the face of seemingly insurmountable and malevolent odds.

We hope the future of the series can offer slightly more efficient storytelling, though this new storyline is already off to a strong start.

The chess pieces are being put into place, yet it's not entirely exciting this month to see the hand that moves those pieces.

Cullen Bunn's dialogue is as poetic and dense as ever, which will surely excite some fans but potentially disappoint others who might have been hoping for more narrative urgency, but even if this book was entirely wordless, Pedro Andreo's work on the book is nothing short of jaw-dropping, with panel after panel of kinetic and fantastical action.

Our cravings for supernatural adventures between demonic forces are surely satiated, and the book stands out above its competitors in the genre, yet by merely being "pretty good," we're still left feeling a bit underwhelmed with the resolution.

The book is fine, but it looks like it will need many more issues at really hook readers at this pace.

It's entirely possible that the potential narrative that this initial sets up is what makes it so rewarding, with subsequent issues possibly falling short of those expectations, it's clear that McFarlane wasn't kidding about all Spawn roads leading to this, as it's primed to be the Spawn to end all Spawns.

For Spider-Man: Life Story, writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Mark Bagley subject the wall-crawler to the biggest punishment of all: the all-too-human horrors of aging.

Life Story remains a fascinating and entertaining experiment in how to reimagine key components in a character's storied history, though the moments where it feels like it could really break new ground for the character, those familiar elements creep back in, stifling the book's unlimited potential.

The series' final issue delivered on both fronts, offering audiences buckets of blood and grotesque sci-fi atrocities despite not pushing the story into unexpected territory.

The issue itself might not be exceptional, but the book's final panels manage to build excitement about what's in store for these characters, making this chapter, and arc, an important emotional adventure that helped cement our heroes' place in the overall Rebellion.

This arc is sure to see our heroes engage in espionage, which is a return to form after the more emotional journeys of the previous one.

There's little to offer in the way of plot, with the art's shift from cartoonish to photorealistic being incredibly jarring in this issue, making readers question if Salvador Larroca really created it all.

The previous arc leaned much more heavily on the emotional journeys and evolutions that the characters needed to go through, with this arc feeling more like an adventure akin to the Millennium Falcon's crew sneaking onto the Death Star to rescue Leia.

This issue didn't feature many dramatic advancements in the covert story arc that's underway, though it also didn't offer any sequences that ground the forward momentum to a halt.

The penultimate issue of this arc was relatively disappointing, as the Rebel spies' mission was pulled off effectively, only to lead to underwhelming results. Epic action was teased for the next issue, though this issue failed to deliver any compelling action or dramatic reveals, making readers wonder why it has taken five issues to advance the story to this point.

The overall arc never really paid off on its promising beginnings, though the conflict between X-Wings and Star Destroyers saved the adventure from being a total dud.

Much of the Star Wars comic series has seen the Rebels going on covert missions, with this arc teasing that the Galactic Empire has a few tricks up their own sleeves. Additionally, the Rebels are often depicted as a ragtag group of survivors, with this issue depicting what the full force of the Rebellion looks like, made all the more impressive by Salvador Larocca's art.

The action and excitement of the issue plays to artist's Salvador Larocca's strengths, delivering readers some of the best artwork the book has seen in months, conveying infantry battles and outer space dogfights with dazzling depictions.

The issue might not have much narrative momentum, but it delivers a lot of intense action that this series has been missing for a while, which is sure to delight fans that feared the storyline was stagnating.

Earlier issues in this arc got off to a rough start, but with the break-neck action finally unfolding in a series of exhilarating space battles, artist Salvador Larocca is this arc's biggest strength, delivering explosive action by balancing precision with chaos.

With one issue left, this arc could be the book's strongest in recent memory.

Narratively, this arc ended on a somewhat underwhelming note as things wrapped up a little too nicely, with the story teasing a familiar face briefly teaming up with our iconic trio.

It's quite early in the arc, but we are already enjoying this return to form for the series.

The arc is clearly building to something, which is unknown this early on in the run, but merely getting to spend some time watching our heroes banter with one another still made for an entertaining read.

The issue did lack some narrative momentum though, if the duo keeps up their synchronous storytelling, this arc could raise the bar for the book's future.

The narrative sets the stage for a big conflict more than it delivered a fulfilling storyline, yet we do get a Han Solo blaster duel that perfectly encapsulates the charming scoundrel, which helps tip the scales of the issue firmly into the "fun read" column.

Admittedly, the issue felt like it was an organic ending to this adventure, so having one more issue in the arc is perplexing, though it makes us highly invested in seeing how the arc comes to an "official" close in the final issue.

There's humor and the promise of action, making for a fun-filled experience which will hopefully set the tone for Kieron Gillen's final issues in the Star Wars series.

Were the narrative to be as strong as the artwork, this book would be unstoppable.

While this chapter might not have been a flat-out masterpiece, the strength of this installment bodes well for how writer Kieron Gillen will conclude his run on the Star Wars comic.

The art in the book continues to be fantastic, though the story offers readers little to generate excitement

Whatever the future holds for the Star Wars series of books, Gillen has ended his run by setting the bar quite high.

What makes this issue feel like a disappointment is that previous installments were so strong, a more methodically-paced issue fails to meet the expectations set by previous issues, yet is still a relatively entertaining read, even if it's not full of much excitement.

With only a handful of issues to go, it's clear that the pieces of this puzzle are finally coming together and, while we know what fate awaits our heroes, knowing that their reunion is just over the horizon adds an extra element of joy to the isolated issues, leaving us to hope the book concludes in a fulfilling way.

This issue might not have featured any major revelations and, while we know that this book leads into the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, the stage is set to send this series out with a bang that is worthy of the more than 70 issues that came before it.

While this Star Wars title has delivered some of the best comic stories in the new canon to audiences, it's also been a mixed bag of excitement, with this final installment reflecting those frustrating elements with a lackluster conclusion.

This Annual is far from essential, but Luke Skywalker fans will enjoy seeing him follow in his father's footsteps.

If you're looking for four strong Star Wars stories covering all corners of the mythology, then Star Wars: Empire Ascendant will make a worthy addition to your collection, though if you were hoping this book would tie up the loose ends of various other Star Wars titles from Marvel, you'll likely be left frustrated.

Thanks in large part to an action-packed dogfight, in addition to Luke coping with the discovery that his father was Darth Vader and questioning everything he knew about the Jedi, the stage has effectively been set for not only engaging adventures, but a compelling emotional journey for the burgeoning Jedi.

Luke's inner turmoil, which he will ultimately conquer to deem himself a Jedi Master, will likely prove to be the more exciting way the book enriches the events of the original trilogy, though all heroes' journeys will prove entertaining.

The book might be missing Han, but Lando's dynamic adds a compelling new cog into a well-oiled machine, making for an exciting experience.

This installment in the narrative is really everything a Star Wars fan could want from such a book, as it delivers action-packed excitement, deeper dives into the mythology seen in the live-action films, and teases of entirely unexplored corners of the galaxy far, far away.

These exceptional moments and the overall excitement of the book elevates the material above what is ultimately a low-stakes installment.

With fans knowing that the High Republic era of mythology would be emphasized going forward, it's hard to tell whether its historical inclusion was due to publishing initiatives or organically emerged, but this concluding chapter of the arc felt not only like a fulfilling end to this specific journey but also sets the stage for the continuing narrative to go in a variety of exciting directions.

Despite its overall place in this new storyline, the story is quite compelling and paints Zahra as a captivating villain, with subsequent issues hopefully taking full advantage of her complexities.

While the whole Dark Droids event has embraced intensity and pulpy storytelling over mythology-changing reveals about beloved characters, this issue does fall in line with the overall goal for the crossover event, yet by being all style and no substance, this issue helps showcase what has been so underwhelming about the Dark Droids event in the first place.

A definitively transitive issue, this chapter helps leave Lando's solo aspects behind while also attempting to shed light on his history with Lobot. The former is more successful than the latter, with the book proving to be more successful at teasing what could be in store for our heroes' future than it is at justifying the events that led to this point.

With how overall underwhelming the Dark Droids event has been, the biggest relief of this issue is knowing that the saga is behind us (at least in the Star Wars title) and that something a bit more compelling might be on the horizon.

The issue teases that Luke will be trapped in the crystal forever, and while we know that's not true and this undercuts the stakes of the adventure, it feels like such a relief compared to the event that preceded it, as this one chapter teases a more compelling blend of superficial excitement with more mystical elements than anything in "Dark Droids."

While this installment explored necessary steps along Luke's path to the Jedi he would become in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, it's not necessarily the most thrilling chapter, given it all unfolds within a world where nothing really seems to matter.

We won't give up on the storyline just yet, but we're off to a relatively middling start.

It feels akin to something like Law & Order: Star Wars, which is sure to delight fans and at least intrigue plenty of others. While this comic is geared towards younger readers, the story featuring Han and Chewie was a little out of character for the duos, as one scene depicts them saying they should blast their pursuers into space dust, only to offer their assistance when it seems as though 4-LOM and Zuckuss could suffer actual injuries.

The continuing story of Han, Chewie, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss being stranded on a remote planet came to a satisfying conclusion as the pilots of the Millennium Falcon used their wits to outsmart the bounty hunters.

Prequel fans will certainly want to grab this issue and, based on the Anakin and Padme cliffhanger, the next one as well.

The story itself wasn't much to sink our teeth into, as a group of gangsters pursued a young Max, though we did get to see how the musician became indebted to Jabba, which was really all the story offered.

The overall issue might not be ground-breaking, but the enjoyment of the stories lay in their simplicity.

As is a common occurrence, C-3PO unwittingly has a hand in their potential safety, with this story offering little narrative excitement, other than perhaps delivering an anecdotal incident of a droid saving our "heroes."

The narrative delivered action, excitement, and helped demonstrate Kaz's abilities as a spy and as a pilot, making the experience as a reader feel both fun and important for the overall Star Wars saga.

The issue as a whole has its ups and downs, though the overall lighthearted tone and action-packed storylines ultimately make it a success.

The story leans into the goofy nature of Jar Jar but, given that this is a book that aims to deliver exciting stories to young readers, is fun and silly enough to entertain those that it is intended for.
