Every character looks different from each panel. Grayson doesn't look any stronger with all his tricks, which were fun at times, but Helena certainty looked weaker by constantly asking "how did you do that?" Simply being self-referential isn't cool in itself. We get no new information and there is a fart joke in there for whatever reason. Felt like the dialogue was written by someone who doesn't know what humor is and has only read about it on Wikipedia.

i really liked the pannels that gave a snapshot to all the fights. good use of briefly making a world feel big. and they've done well to make me have interest in multiple characters' outcomes. kind of annoying to spend five issues on setting up the tournament and use one issue to knock out multiple rounds of damian's fights. seems like it's difficult for writers to not do background info dumps and i guess present day gets scrunched into montage fight scenes.

They’re acting like they’re running out of time with the issues. Too much bottled into a few panels. But Aquaman saves the day so that’s all that really matters.

The whole aquaman storyline feels super rushed but the reveal at the end was kind of worth it : )

It only makes sense because the next panel has to continually explain the prior one.

The pacing has felt really wonky. At the end of 34, it felt really rushed but now they've slowed it back down again. Not my favorite art but the Earth-19 bit was a highlight.

Last issue felt kind of like a stalling one. Would have liked to see this on stretched over two if not three issues but some really badass moments in there.
