Loooots of dialogue just to force it to the ending but at least they've set themselves up with some interesting storylines going forward, not just pushing it into a corner. Warhead isn't the most enticing character but it probably got as good as it could in its first run. The Dead Water tease is promising as well, which could create some cool combos with Warhead.

A lot of people running with their hair going wild and them yelling. Read like a soap opera, but ended on a fun note.

Really fun parts but v stupid ending with Andy. Are we shocked she was stolen when she almost died falling off a cliff? No. But I do like how Andy brings out sides of characters we otherwise wouldn't get. More positive than not, but ending was silly.

surprisingly boring

The whole lady flash thing seemed really bundled. I don't know why she would accept a job nor let people perform surgery on her. Feels completely opposite of a cannibal murderer's actual intentions. Still more positive moments than negative ones but very odd set up in Helena's presentation.

God the sexual tension in all of this is ridiculous and completely pointless. Everyone is banging everyone. We get it. Idk why they feel the need to put guns in the bedroom either but I guess everyone has their kink. The ending was awesome. It's a rare sight to have a one-off mission really carry weight for everyone involved, so I loved that. But man, really stupid stuff on the front third of this. Great ending though.

Could have been summed up in like four pages. I do appreciate slowing stories down, in a general sense, but this didn't really take us anywhere.

Every character looks different from each panel. Grayson doesn't look any stronger with all his tricks, which were fun at times, but Helena certainty looked weaker by constantly asking "how did you do that?" Simply being self-referential isn't cool in itself. We get no new information and there is a fart joke in there for whatever reason. Felt like the dialogue was written by someone who doesn't know what humor is and has only read about it on Wikipedia.

sometimes it is fun to joke about a preposterous "what if" idea that you would no way put actual resources behind but you could shoot the shit with some friends by just refreshing the idea with another layer of "oh oh and what if...???" this isn't even that.

They’re acting like they’re running out of time with the issues. Too much bottled into a few panels. But Aquaman saves the day so that’s all that really matters.

The whole aquaman storyline feels super rushed but the reveal at the end was kind of worth it : )

It only makes sense because the next panel has to continually explain the prior one.

The pacing has felt really wonky. At the end of 34, it felt really rushed but now they've slowed it back down again. Not my favorite art but the Earth-19 bit was a highlight.

Last issue felt kind of like a stalling one. Would have liked to see this on stretched over two if not three issues but some really badass moments in there.
