Wow, that was bad. The fight between Betsy and Isca was so short and weak, and ended without explanation. I knew how the fight between Doug and Bei would end, and i really wondered how they would turn the fight into a marriage. If one of the other characters would try to skirt around the rules in order to allow Doug to live, but turns out there was 0 motivation at all! What the hell was that?! Why would Saturnyne just decided to do a marriage? So dumb Then there's the Jubilee stuff which was brought up out of nowhere. Jubilee didn't knew about the event? Why? Such a dumb conclusion. Also love the "Doug can't understand her because of uhhhhh reasons" At least Phil Noto's art was good, and the scene between Isca and Betsy before the fight was cool.

Might as well drop the story halfway and replace them with a "and then all the problems got solved". John Byrne is a hack and a fraud.

Dammit Byrne, again ending action scenes abruptily and with an anti-climax because "wink wink fourth wall break hehe". NOTHING happened in this issue. Fourth wall breaks are 90% of the time just a gimmick in this series apparently. Also the slavery bit was cringe. Least the art was good.

One of the most worthless and inconsequencial comic book issues i've ever read.

ClichĂȘ and painfully mediocre. So desperately looking for approval it sounds silly. Even the art stumbles sometimes. Steve and Tony look terrible in some panels. Also, both were poorly characterized. Then the Celestials and Sentry shows up just to say "hey guys, I'm here to die in order to show how powerful my OC is". Then Eddie does the clichĂȘ edgy shit of throwing the communicator away when everyone is depending on him, then says "you ready" twice to Venom for no reason. Sigh. Trash.

Man, that was pretty bad. The art is beautiful but the action is so confusing. I can't understand half the stuff that happens. Geography is never estabilished and you don't even know what is hitting people. Starling uses something we don't even see to cut the drone. We don't even see the girl's body afterwards. Did she died, did she ran away? We don't know. Also the writing isn't very good. The motivation of the antagonist opens potencial to talk about something, but nothing is actually said. Also, she goes full evil by trying to kill Miles's family for no reason, and Miles STILL tries to say she's not a bad person?! What the hell. Some last things: -Miles's dad said because of him his neighbors didn't got hurt, but as far as i noticed he didn't really do anything beyond save his family. Not sure if this was in a previous version of the story that got cut in the final version or what; -Misty Knight just giving them a new appartment is pretty weird and convenient. If the writer cared about making it so that they still have a house, maybe he shouldn't have decided to blow it up. Would have made Rabble less irredeemable. -As for the final page...could be interesting. Could be bad as well. Government agends recruiting villains has been done to death already(and literally already done with Scorpion as well), but maybe it will be fine.

Literally what was the point of this issue? Just 24 pages of people being punched. Was the point to show that MK shouldn't have a registration? Then do something better than just this.

Man that is a LONG fall. Literally nothing happens. Don't bother reading if you want to follow King in Black. Go straight to the next issue of KiB.

Was there supposed to be a fifth issue? This issue seemed to be sprinting to finish itself as quickly as possible. Weird considering that the first 3 issues took their time. Dialogue was pretty bad as well.

X-Men quash resistances to imperialism. Wicked. What a meaningless issue. Nothing happened. At least the 90's art was cool, and the antagonist's design was great.

The justification for the fight to happen was stupid, and the action was also stupid. Shuri doesn't have a single strategic thought. The premise behind the scenes regarding the crisis on Wakanda is good, but the execution wasn't. Some scenes could have been more well written. The scene with the Dora Milage is not very well explained. The "be blasted by magic in order to become more powerful" is weird.

So weak. Half the story was goofy haha hijinxs from characters i couldn't care less but i'm supposed to find funny because they are goofy haha. The Daredevil gag went too far, and the plost twist could have been seen from a mile away

Pointing out you are buying issue time by retelling the story of an older comic doesn't make the act itself better Byrne, don't waste our times. At least the art was good.

What the hell was this? So they just solved the main conflict in, what, a page and a half? Man what the hell happened with this series.

Wow, all of my least favorite things in comics together! Bad action,, superheroes acting like fascists(loved the hostage situation where the hero just does a quarterback bash on the person putting a gun at a teenager), bad layouts that not only waste space but also don't help with clarity(the action scenes in the second half), holding out information for the reader for the only reason of keeping suspense for the reveal at the last page, and last and least, SECRET NEVER-BEFORE MENTIONED FAMILY MEMBERS WOOOOO!!! The literal single good thing in this was the conversation with Rebecca in the plane

Was interested in seeing Jessica and Carol's interation, hoping it would be fun, but wow, that was unbearable. I don't care if there's a story reason as to why she's being so shitty. She was already like that in the first issues. This just made me think their friendship is terrible. For a story written by a woman, it definitely looks like 2 male characters Hate seeing superhumans beating ordinary people for no reason as well. Always gives me fascist vibes. Also the destroying/stealing Tony's ship bit was bad.

Quick, the story is coming up short, what do we do? Oh, just do an action scene every 4 pages. I get it, superhero comics and all, but since this is a tie-in, use the free villain whose motivation you don't need to write(a symbiote dragon), not your great friend and partner or Stegron, who did nothing against them. It's also annoying how transparent it is that this is just a side-quest(collect the 3 things before progressing), with 0 pretense in explaining the need for said 3 things(assuming next issue won't explain, which, considering the writing quality of this series, i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't)

What a silly ending. Tom is very desperate to say something but he doesn't know a lot about it, so he talks about the crimes of rich people and people with power like the ending of a Neil Breen movie. It also just throws a resurrection for no reason, and never elaborates on it later despite the story suggesting they would. Also, what was the point of the exploding girl? When they introduced her I though she was going to be explored more, but she was literally just a time bomb and nothing else. I though I was going to at leas be able to complement the art, but even that had problems, as the layout of the last pages made me confused as to the order I'm supposed to read them.

What a nonsensical conclusion. How did Santi's powers worked there? Why was he ignorant in his own narration boxes throughout this and the previous issues if he had a plan? How did David knew Ruth was going to bring help? How did he found out Red Skull was behind it? Was it related to the ghost of Xavier he saw in the Cortex? Why would anyone have any problem with that persona of Legion erasing Schmidt's brain and putting himself in it? Disappointing conclusion. Hopefully Santi won't be abandoned after this issue and that's the last we see of him.

Very bad issue. Extremely repetitive(i think Kang got hit in the back by a surprise assailant 4 times in this issue), with bad pacing, inconsequencial moments and out of nowhere plot points.

This is all so dumb. T'Challa knows who attacked him but he decides not to tell anyone. Then Shuri has leads that lead to Namor and she doesn't bother to ask T'Challa about it. Then she decides she will "talk" to Namor when that clearly means fight because of it. Can't people just talk?!

It's barely better than the previous issue due to the fact that the post kiss romance isn't obnoxious like their tough love from before. The scene with T'Challa was ok as well, but it still has big problems in dialogue and scene transition.

Writing was ass during 60% of the issue, but then the later half was great. Not sure what happened.

Almost decided to drop the series after that first scene with the Avengers. What is that trash and why do X-Men writers still do this? As for the rest, the writing in the second scene was pretty bad. So much "tell, don't show" and very forced. The "repeat" of the same twist from the first issue was also unnecessary.

As a person who only read the this run + Silver Surfer Black(which is amazing and you should definitely read, BTW), and doesn't have any connection with all the other Cosmic MARVEL stories he wrote, i didn't liked it too much. It drops plot points, ignores characters and solves problems in very weak ways.

Whenever I see an issue that's about helping people I'm usually pretty happy, but this sucked. There was 0 time used to show the people being trafficked getting actually freed, but there's 3 whole pages dedicated solely to show the slavers getting punished. Priorities guys. Also, so silly to me that they would save humans but also be cunty about it. "The council wouldn't allow it" no? Who would vote against it? Sinister, Exodus, Mystique and Shaw, vs Xavier, Erik, Kurt, Kate and Jean in favor. Then not only not allowing them on Krakoa but also saying they are forbidden from entering parts of M Island is so dumb. Whatever, weird, bad story.

Scenes in the present added nothing. Only the flashbacks were interesting.

What a weak solution.

Wait, where was Simon during the middle of the issue?

Just mindless, bad action, with no plot except for the last pages, and weak banter.

Poorly paced. Some scenes take their time and then others just zoom by so quickly you don't even understand the seriousness of the situation. Some panel layouts were pretty bad too, and the retcon on Daken's powers is so cowardish. Just accept that your character's powerset has a problem and build the story around it. At least one of the scenes that took it's time was pretty good, which is Speed's.

Very bad and meaningless action. Things just happen.

It's impressive how I feel nothing about the main plot of this event. The enemies are completely uninteresting. They should have just made the story be about Thanks and the Black Order.

Considering the fact that both this issue and Infinity #5 came out in the same week I don't really get why they decided to make this essencially a filler issue when SO MUCH happened in the previous one. They could have easily attached the events of issue #21 onto this one and give the ups and downs of the war we saw in said issue a bit more time to breathe. Dialogue was fine that and the pretty visuals of the shops, but that was basically it.

The issue was mostly action, and tge action itself was pretty meaningless and bad, so there's not much to bite in here. Art is great.

The main story was pretty bad. It sounded like a story written for children. The second story was a bit better, despite being much shorter and closed on itself. Art and colors of said story was great, which helped a lot.

A very pretty nothing-issue.

The art was good and dynamic.

I have literally nothing to say about this issue. Art isn't even that great compared to the work i know by Lee Garbett and Belen Ortega. Colors were good tho. So tired of post-apocalyptic futures.

Having a lot of difficulty recognizing the faces. When the names aren't mentioned in the page I feel lost. The issue also looks like a bunch of vignettes, sometimes with scenes lasting a single page, which makes things more difficult.

I feel like i only understand half the pages in this arc. Still don't know anything about Carson, and not sure where this story is going. Also have difficulty recognizing the characters.

This story is an amazing argument in favor of Kamala Law. 4 complete fools just threw themselves in front of a criminal who literally shot at them with bo regard for their lives. So irresponsible. The issue was fun until that point. Unfortunate.

Whack solution. I forgive some of it since it's of course a lighter comic but I didn't liked it as much.

The conflict just ends abruptly and all the threads are solved.

Very by the book. Not very original.

Not a very interesting issue.

The book doesn't take itself seriously, but the jokes are very cringy. Not a good mix.

A painfully mediocre ending for a painfully mediocre book. I don't get why this was so well received. I liked the characters themselves, and their interactions are...fine, but man the tone of the book just didn't worked with me at all.

First story was terrible, but the second one was pretty good.

Obviously Leah was in a hurry due to Marvel fucking her plans up, but I think she juggled things well all things considered. The part with Shatterstar and Morrigan was completely incomprehensible to me. I'm not sure what I was missing really. Other than that the paneling was great. It was a very stylish issue. And I'm liking how useful they made Trevor's powers. It's tough being a Cypher-like character in X-Men comics.

I guess the action was creative but at the same time so poorly executed and solved. The Sentinel who for some reason was on top of the plane, falls on top of the plane, who not only stays basically intact but also doesn't even lose altitude apparently? Also damn, those people on the plane sure are forgiving of the mutants who almost killed all of them by attempting to steal a phone. Also, what's up with the phone being used as evidence that the ambassador's mind was taken over by Cassandra? 1: She doesn't say her name, why would anyone trust Jean's word? 2: Who's to say that couldn't have been doctored anyway? Anyway, the scene in Atlantis wasn't very good as well. Is Teen Abomination a swimmer? Because it's kind of weird that he can even reach Namor and Gently by swim. Lastly, it's a dumb nitpick thwt doesn't really affect my score, but I always found the "video that's streamed in every screen on the world" trope very silly. Imagine playing Resident Evil 4 whole some Regeneradores are around you and then suddenly some random redhead appears in your screen saying a bunch of stuff you know nothing about.

So painfully edgy, good god.

Visuals are great in general, from art to inks to colors, but it's style over substance. The action sequence in the beginning was a bit too vague, without giving a good sense on the geography and what actually knocked out/killed each victim. Interested in wether Zak-Del's father is actually his father or a part of the control of the Phalanx. Considering the end of the issue, this seems less likely, but i found it curious that his ghost would be so eager to tell the son that he has to focus on getting revenge on him. Not the type of thing you hear from a ghost of the protagonist's dead parent. The scene with Ronan finding out that the Supreme Inteligence is "alive" and will be used by the Phalanx was pretty good. Made me intrigued on what will happen. I just wonder why Wraith didn't freed him alongside Super-Skrull and Praxagora.

The whole tsunami part was very silly. Both it being made and stopped by Amadeus.

A disappointing conclusion. The control of Zenzi ending with a speech was particularly silly. Sounded like something from the West Wing. The ghosts defeating the remaining People also wasn't very satisfying.

The middle to end was borderline incomprehensible.

The story is interesting but the dialogue and art isn't good. It's too practical, only made to move the story forward, and without flourishes or spice, on the lack of a better word. I also don't liked conflict between Aneka and Ayo in this issue compared to the previous.

A nothing issue really. Nothing bad, nothing noteworthy.

Well, that resolution of the Space Knights was gross. Just kill the last survivors of a people for no reason. Only reason i'm giving this passing grades is the art.

Weak ending. what made this arc good in the beginning was the moral challenge to Wally. This conclusion just sidesteps the conflict entirely just to have and ending where Wally solves the problem by punching the enemy.

I'm not sure i understood the ending, or the point of the story in general. Overly long for no reason, as well.

A heel turn like that makes sense when you have a hundred years of time. It makes it easy to fill the blanks and imagine the path the Hulk took in order to go from good to evil. This just shows his path to evil as being very short and linear, which makes it very hard to justify how out of character it is. Still, the issue itself was fine. In a vacuum i would have given a higher score.

What bad contrivance to motivate the heist. Also, Ororo's insistence in framing this as her saving Wakanda and the world was so silly.

First story: Bad art for most of it, and the story was pretty bad. Loki just brings Echo to a different planet for...no reason? And makes her solve the problem instead of him do it himself? The flash of the future is possibly a hint towards her becoming the Phoenix host? If that was premeditated back then, that was cool, but otherwise a pretty bad story. Second story: Fun! Great art as well. The representation of the boy's power was really cool, and the 3 panels of the boy asking Dani about her identity as a native and krakoan was cool. Third story: I know absolutely nothing about this. Definitely the story that felt the most dependant on knowledge of the comics mentioned in the second to last page. Impressive deep cut i assume. I wasn't sure if Trigo's powers were to see the past or the future. Wish they made it clearer. Art was great too.

Meaningless issue. No reason for the Illuminati intervene with this single person who's not even a danger anymore. Also, their motivation to him is to just make him "New York superhero #517"? The beginning of the issue was fun but the shallowness of the issue combined with the cover only being a reference to that (fun but)meaningless conversation in the beginning makes me think that Bendis and Reed didn't really knew what to do. Looks like just a filler issue. I know eventually both will write Marvel Boy so if the plan was to setup them doing something with him, they should have done a better job.

Art was simply incredible, but very little plot for a third of the book, and there was some pretty bad dialogue.

Where is the introspection from Tony, Reed and Strange? The story just glosses over the whole "a million died from their bomb" and there's not even a consideration to his terms? I really hope the story deals with that later.

I love me some queer representation and sex-positivity, but was the whole "get Logan and Hercules disguised" part of the plan JUST an excuse to make the leather joke? They didn't actually do anything in the fight.

Horribly rushed. Should have been 33 pages long instead.

If there's one character who would emphasize with Kevin in this team, it's the Hulk. His reaction in this was stupid

Fine issue, but the sudden appearence of characters who apparently were always there in a scene made some moments a bit confusing.

Very little of story actually happened, but it's cool to see the Avengers just helping people and solving problems. So often heroes only job is punching people

Bad action. Scenes with Captain Universe & Manifold and Starbrand and Nightmask were good.

I really don't like generic fights in which characters don't utilize their powers because it would require making them non-generic. Mephisto blasted two characters, then just forgot to you it again. He also forgot literally everything else he can do while a teenager was inches away from killing him. Also Polaris just forgot that as someone who can control metal she can just stop the demons from wielding their metal weapons, including Mephisto's trident.

Fun issue, if a bit difficult to understand in the first reading. The scene with the X-Men was pretty funny.

A bit generic, but there were good lines and the art and colors are great.

Designs for Constrictor and Mamba were amazing. Ending was pretty silly but it's more of a "that's not how trials actually work" than actually due to writing quality.

Really didn't connected with this arch. Art is still beautiful, and the idea for the next run is interesting.

Mobili's art was pretty good, though the geography of the action needs more wirk It's nice to criticize the action for a different reason i guess. The whole "the Stromwyn own the media" was so cartoony it took me out of the story. The rest was good.

The Elektra part was a bit wasn't very well written. Matt's part was great despite the terrible Knullified design and a bit too much focus on religion. The idea of putting himself on an electric chair was amazing, but i was a bit disappointed that we didn't get a wide panel of him in the chair taking the shock.

I liked it. At first i thought the idea of a werewolf without the drama of the lost of control kind of removes the point of making a werewolf story,but there was something interesting about having an angst-free lycantrope. Dialogue was a bit too expository for my taste, but hopefully this is only a quirk of the first issue.

Most of the humor so far fell flat for me, but the premisse is okay, and i like the characters and specially the art.

Great layouts. The visualizations of the characters's powers were cool.

Disappointed that the first gay kiss in a MARVEL comic also included an instance of the Bury your Gays trope, but it is a comic where characters die a lot, so it's more acceptable. I'm glad they made the scene despite that, specially considering that it was 2001.

Great conclusion to a good arch. Such a breath of fresh air after the one before.

Art and colors are great. The focus on K'vvvr was great. I really empathized with him, and any story that shows both perspectives of soldiers in a war gets points in my book. The main plot of the issue I didn't liked it though. The plot twist felt contrived and not very well constructed.

A very good conclusion, wasn't expecting them to tie the two main knots this well. Just wish the epilogue weren't literally just two pages.

Very good issue. Interested in what the story plans to do with Shuri. Art and colores were great.

It was cool to see Queen Divine Justice and Zawavari again.

Damn they really fucked Kelly Sue up by making her write a tie-in right after the end of her previous arch. I was totally lost when the prelude mentioned that she lost her memory. It really sucks that she didn't get to write that in the actual comic, but she did well with what she had. K didn't liked the Avengers issue where this fight occurred but I feel like DeConnick did a pretty good job adding a human element to the defeat. Pity that the art wasn't up to par.

Pretty good issue. Amazing art in the still scenes, pretty bad when it comes to action, as always.Amazing colors(despite the weird pink blood) Cole's conversation with Matt was pretty interesting. Wonder how important the governor is going to be in the end. Doubt he's going to actually have a significant role unless they decide to ignore who's the current one in real life and just come up with a fictional one.

Really well written issue. Made me emphathize a lot with Titania

Really fun diversion! Should have expected to see that a member of the the Elephant Trunk would be relevant to the story. Art fit this issue well, and I really liked the visualization of Shuri on a chair where Groot's brain would be.

A much weaker issue than the other ones, but the art is still amazing, of course.

Not as satisfying of a conclusion as the first two issues were, but still good.

Good issue, but I was a bit disappointed that the story didn't touched the fact that Hobgoblin killed the parent of someone who works on the Bugle. When I saw Jameson i was expecting Peter to confront him, not Spider-Man. I guess I created a different version of the story in my head and got too attached to it.

Finally a good issue. Action was not only great but brutal. Very impressed by how fucked the characters looked. Really helped sell how powerful the hits were. Glad they didn't made another "parent is not what you think" retcon. Second story was fine. The many different covers in between ech page felt like padding, but with an art as amazing as Mattia de Luis's i can't complain too much. Intrigued by what Jess and Carol will do in space next arch.

Good issue. Disappointed that the Arakko-Krakoa relationship was completely dropped. At least have a few issues where we see their differences being too much to the point where they give up on uniting. The scene with Isca and Charles and Erik was great. Very excited to meet plenty more Arakkis, and the land itself. 20x the population though? A bit much I'd say. Also don't like the vagueness since we don't even know the population of Krakoa.

The Watchmen reference in the beginning made me roll my eyes, but then the later reference(i did it five hours ago) was great. I'm pretty tired of David trashing the X-Men. His argumentation is so dumb. Glad Ruth trashed him for his idea of punishing before the crime.

A great issue that fixed some problems I had with the most recent ones, but still hasn't solved some others: mainly that I can't have a grasp on how dire the situations are without knowing, say, how the logistics of the rebellion is, or how much ground are they losing or winning. Sure, they showed some planets being taken and retaken, but this isn't very tangible. I guess I miss a war table with a map of the galaxy showing what was won or lost. I also felt like this issue was a rollercoaster where we won, lost, then won again. This made this particular issue really good but it also made me feel this could have been more spread out throw hg the next issues. Or maybe the pacing of those next issues will be great, who knows. Lastly I wish Ex Nihilo's and Abyss's side mission were more connected with the rebels. I wish the galactic council were aware and incentivising them so it felt more like a plan. Seeing their stories in this issue is starting to feel like a Deus Ex Machina(heh)

Really good issue. The fight between the Moondragons was really interesting. Wish i knew the opinion of people who read more of the 616 version to know if she was in character. She seemed pretty spiteful. Problem is that i'm starting to think we'll just never know how Heather 616 came back from the dead. As for the rest of the story, i found was also pretty well constructed.

Federico Blee's colors were absolutely incredible.

Great art, good interactions, ok story development. I particularly liked how effectively Doom fought.

A very good first issue. Wish the first two scenes had an extra page each, but it had to be a 22 page issue, so I understand why it didn't had it. Beautiful art an colors.

Great dialogue and character interactions. Jessica is right in prioritizing their child. not sure why Luke wouldn't tell them the information he knows. If he suspects Drew and Tony might be Skrulls, he should have been the one to tell them instead.

Really good issue. I interpreted the huge amount of black space and small panels in a lot of the pages as her ability to perceive the world only with her eyes. If that was the intention i really liked it. Still, I wish her deafness were more also utilized in the story itself.

Amazing start. The story itself was already pretty good, and so did the action, but the real star of the show is the incredible art. Very optimistic about this series. Mixing BP with space opera is a match made in heaven.

Crazy how i loved the dialogue and between ALL the characters in this issue. Phil's art is also wonderful. Hope we see this relationship in the next issues.

Loved it! As a person who doesn't like Deadpool, i really liked his role here.

Really great issue. Loved seeing the flashbacks of Ultimatum in contrast to the present.

The second story has great layouts.

Great issue. Amazing art and colors as always, and not only a great fight but great usage of flashbacks. Sad that Ikari barely got used after this amazing debut display.

Great issue. Very good at creating tension and paranoia. Got worried for a second that Foggie would not believe Matt and think he's crazy again. Not sure i believe in Bullseye being able to come up with a plan like that, but let's see where this story goes.

As a person that hasn't read Anihilation, i found it a great start for a solo book. The dialogue sold how his duty was overwhelming very well.

Wonderful issue. Loved the dialogue. The last quarter wasn't as good as the rest, but overall an excellent story.

So cute and funny. Absolutely beautiful as well. Dialogue was a very tropey at times, specially Mass Master's, but it's kind of inevitable.

So charming! Loved it.

What a great conclusion. Dan Slott is She-Hulk writer as far as i have read.

Great to see a person with real knowledge on the job writing the comic. Love the moment where Jen asked about Steve's character to the history professor.

Pretty fun. Great art and gorgeous colors. Excited to meet Jack of Hearts.
