This is the fifth issue and it's the third time they do a "protagonists sneak on somewhere where the antagonists are doing a thing, then get caught". Stop wasting my time Gillen. Also, start delivering a story in a way that won't require me to know about a 1,500 year old book. It's getting dificult to deal with these new rules appearing and disappearing all the time

Contrived solution and silly ending, but Mora's art is so good it makes everything better.

The reason why they decided to marry was very stupid, and i feel like the way they explained why Fei Long hates mutants was so bad i actually thought they were just retelling this and that information was already shown in a different comic i missed, like X-Men.

The narration was great. Hopefully it will be relevant beyond it being a nightmare.

I like fights that end with peaceful means, but this one didn't worked for me. Still don't like how BRB now using Twilight wasn't used at all, specially how his line about using Mjolnir.

So the solution against Thor's opponent was for him to just attack the civilians himself? Mackay really couldn't think of anything better?

pretty sick to see (almost, because i missed Cap in this as well) all the Worthy together, but after Daniel Warren Johnson's amazing Beta Ray Bill mini, seeing him not using...that, and instead going back to using Mjolnir feels like a downgrade. I expected Al Ewing, master of respecting continuity to do better than this. Hopefully he will use...it in the next issues.

I really hope Armor Wars and those fellas who attacked in the flashback end up being relevant in the story in the present, because if not then it was a big waste of pages. The way the antagonist managed to get control over Stark Unlimited was also far too easy.

Pure setup issue. Pretty mediocre considering it. Could have been a #1, and certainly would have benefited from the extra pages of one. Some slight restructuring could have allowed for the story to be more than just that. In the end enjoying the issue hinges almost entirely on enjoying the designs of the new antagonists...which fortunately i did, on most of them.

Geez George Perez, STOP TALKING. So much text. The man is an artist, why is he writing so much? The prose is good but there's too much of it. Also, too many unnecessary thought balloons. I don't need to be informed that Diana is being grabbed by ebony hands when the art already shows her being grabbed by ebony hands.

Good issue but my god, so much text, and by the end so much of it was hard to understand.

Weak ending. what made this arc good in the beginning was the moral challenge to Wally. This conclusion just sidesteps the conflict entirely just to have and ending where Wally solves the problem by punching the enemy.

Shooting a gun at a person so the hero saves him not only won't lead to the lawyer being disbarred immediately, but also frame the hero negatively?

Weak issue, and I won't see the end of this story anyway so it was just a very long mediocre story.

I'm not sure i understood the ending, or the point of the story in general. Overly long for no reason, as well.

Fun issue, if a bit difficult to understand in the first reading. The scene with the X-Men was pretty funny.

Weak issue compared to the others, but Circe's story was cool, and Zatanna reopening her mouth was pretty metal.

Kind of lame that Wally winning is just cause by him deciding to lock in, and then Thawne just gives up. Besides that, a fine story.

What the hell was this? So they just solved the main conflict in, what, a page and a half? Man what the hell happened with this series.

I get that this is a spin-off one-shot but man what a nothing issue. "International Incident" wasn't amazing but it felt like it had a progression.

After hearing about this issue and what it talks about i kind of expected more from the idea of the mutants abandoning babies.

This was weaker than the annual. A little too cliche.

Action was creative.

the story being split in three makes it difficult to understand.

The alien virus taking over everything was pretty silly but whatever.

Really fun issue. The panel of the nurses kicking him on the ground was so funny.

Issue was better than the last one but god this art is atrocious.

Too repetitive. She talks to someone, then runs away, then someone reaches her, talk, then run away, then someone reaches her.

The part with the living building was super fun, but it overstayed it's welcome. The rest of the book was very weak. This was also possibly Dwayne McDuffie's last work at Marvel. May he rest in peace.

Really good issue. I interpreted the huge amount of black space and small panels in a lot of the pages as her ability to perceive the world only with her eyes. If that was the intention i really liked it. Still, I wish her deafness were more also utilized in the story itself.

A fine issue but what a dumb solution. What reason does the Gilded Saint has to think Fox was the one who rigged the contract?

Fun issue. Kinda lame that the evil character turns out to have the literal least trustworthy and unfriendly appearence. At some point I thought it was on purpose as a red herring, but nope.

Really fun issue. Killing Dixie kind of ruined it a bit, though.

I feel like i only understand half the pages in this arc. Still don't know anything about Carson, and not sure where this story is going. Also have difficulty recognizing the characters.

Stalled too much in the beginning. This is a 24 page longe issue, why waste 4 or 5 for nothing?

The middle to end was borderline incomprehensible.

Scenes in the present added nothing. Only the flashbacks were interesting.

de Luis's art made some things confusing at the end.

Great dialogue and character interactions. Jessica is right in prioritizing their child. not sure why Luke wouldn't tell them the information he knows. If he suspects Drew and Tony might be Skrulls, he should have been the one to tell them instead.

Great conclusion to a good arch. Such a breath of fresh air after the one before.

I still don't fully understand how the Ama treated the Brekks. Were the Brekk actually being oppressed? Were they under colonialism by the Ama? If so I don't find this "both sides are the same" approach as a good one.

Good ideas, but not very good execution.

Wait, where was Simon during the middle of the issue?

Not a particularly interesting issue. Two couples talk about their relationship, withe first one giving us a bit of plot progression. Paneling could have helped with the... for the lack of a better world, dullness, but oh well.

Having a lot of difficulty recognizing the faces. When the names aren't mentioned in the page I feel lost. The issue also looks like a bunch of vignettes, sometimes with scenes lasting a single page, which makes things more difficult.

Outstanding art.

Tony with the helmet on top of the helmet is such a funny image.

I was liking the issue until the final page, which ruined the stakes to me. Also I wonder if Carol and Jess breaking up with their boyfriends in such a close time space was on purpose and the writers of both were planning of getting them together.

Really fun issue once you manage to ignore the voice in your head saying " any mutant with telepathy, telekinesis and teleportation could solve this problem instantly".

It was a...fine issue, but it felt like a filler. It introduced a problem at the end of an issue, and then in this one they solve it. That's it. The fight also wasn't particularly interesting as well, and neither was the twist.

Good issue, but I was a bit disappointed that the story didn't touched the fact that Hobgoblin killed the parent of someone who works on the Bugle. When I saw Jameson i was expecting Peter to confront him, not Spider-Man. I guess I created a different version of the story in my head and got too attached to it.

My first contact with Damage Control. Really fun, already enjoying some of the characters.

Great art, good interactions, ok story development. I particularly liked how effectively Doom fought.

Hah what a goofy fight. It's not every day you see Hulk outsmarting someone.

I guess the action was creative but at the same time so poorly executed and solved. The Sentinel who for some reason was on top of the plane, falls on top of the plane, who not only stays basically intact but also doesn't even lose altitude apparently? Also damn, those people on the plane sure are forgiving of the mutants who almost killed all of them by attempting to steal a phone. Also, what's up with the phone being used as evidence that the ambassador's mind was taken over by Cassandra? 1: She doesn't say her name, why would anyone trust Jean's word? 2: Who's to say that couldn't have been doctored anyway? Anyway, the scene in Atlantis wasn't very good as well. Is Teen Abomination a swimmer? Because it's kind of weird that he can even reach Namor and Gently by swim. Lastly, it's a dumb nitpick thwt doesn't really affect my score, but I always found the "video that's streamed in every screen on the world" trope very silly. Imagine playing Resident Evil 4 whole some Regeneradores are around you and then suddenly some random redhead appears in your screen saying a bunch of stuff you know nothing about.

Fun issue. Surprised by the quality of the art.

Bad arc, and a bad ending. Going to assume McDuffie had to wrap things up quickly in order for Millar to start his run. It certainly looks hurried

First half was sick as hell.

Obviously Leah was in a hurry due to Marvel fucking her plans up, but I think she juggled things well all things considered. The part with Shatterstar and Morrigan was completely incomprehensible to me. I'm not sure what I was missing really. Other than that the paneling was great. It was a very stylish issue. And I'm liking how useful they made Trevor's powers. It's tough being a Cypher-like character in X-Men comics.

Is that how Nezhno's powers worked before that? The pain coming from his psychological trauma, instead of being something physical? That's such a lame idea. I find it kind of silly that they are making a whole new headquarters underwater when we know this will never be used again.

Very cute issue, and the reveal of the secret parent was cool. Didn't liked how Shaylee was written however. Special shoutout for the great expressiveness of Doyle.

Really great issue. Loved seeing the flashbacks of Ultimatum in contrast to the present.

Literally what was the point of this issue? Just 24 pages of people being punched. Was the point to show that MK shouldn't have a registration? Then do something better than just this.

Gabby's writing is great(really liked the joke about Jean probing queer feelings on people), but Tom Taylor's politics made me laugh in a way that wasn't intentional. Art is great as well.
