A good start to a mystery and action book. I like the plot, but I wish Johnson set Bond up in his traditional fashion before bringing him low. Looking forward to where the series goes and Linser is killing it on the covers.

I'm really enjoying this series. I like the twist and turns. I lost track of the whole virus thing. I'm enjoying the fight scenes and the fact that Bond has other 00's after him. I would like to have more background on why MI6 and specifically M would be going along with this. It seems out of character. There was a transition that was jarring where they changed disguises and I got lost for the page until I realized it wasn't a flashback. I'm looking forward to the next issue and I hope more explanation.

Another strong issue, but not enough going on. Bond gets pinned down by 006 sniping until Gwen gets the drop on him. It's revealed that Gwen has a secret she's keeping from Bond. We get a car chase that could have been crafted a little better. I love bringing Felix into it. It shows that Johnson knows his lore. I'm looking forward to the next issue.

I think I missed an issue due to my move and Pullbox always ordering for future rather than current. Even with me missing an issue, I could easily figure out what's going on as they eluded to his partner going bad throughout the run. I like the version of Sersi better here than in the movie. She's more whimsical and flirtatious when speaking with Tony. Although they captured her and I expected her to free herself pretty easily. I was confused about her costume changing, but then I realized she could manipulate things, which also means she could have freed herself at any time. So, there's that. I haven't been reading X-men, so I don't really understand how the Five and resurrection works, but obviously pretty simply since they come back damn fast. I am reading X-Men Red and they die completely off-screen, so I guess that book is on hold for a while unless they cheapen their deaths and bring them right back. The concept is interesting and I'll keep reading it until it gets stupid, which I hope it doesn't.

This one is not nearly as good as the first. I hope this is not a downhill trend. It starts with a bunch of people's views of mutants (mirroring present times). Then there's a battle where the battle creates a title wave that the characters say that thousands of people will be killed by it. Then they forget about it completely. So, we can only assume that those people were all killed, since there are no characters outside of Storm that could have calmed the waves. Then we get to the end where they raise the god who is going to judge them all. Whatever. At issue 2 I'm already over this story.

This issue is very forgettable. I had to look back to even remember what happened. Cap was judged and found wanting. Which I have to bull on. And Starfox appears at the end.

This story is so convoluted it's not even funny. Some people get thumbs up, so get thumbs down. There is no rhyme or reason to any of it. Mostly I just don't care. The story hasn't made me care. Instead, it just keeps throwing as many characters at the reader as possible. I just feel bombarded rather than following a handful of heroes on their quest to defeat this thing and find themselves worthy of surviving this. I don't have high hopes for the next two issues.

I'm not sure what's even going on here anymore. We go back to those people again for no reason. Cap does what Cap always does and tries to appeal to the humanity in the villain, except this villain doesn't have any. So, he and Nightcrawler are killed. Nightcrawler is resurrected (whatever) and doesn't even mention Cap dying. NO ONE DOES. No one seems to give a crap that one of the biggest superheroes on the planet was killed. It's not like no one knew. They were all connected psychically -- everyone on the whole planet. In real life, everyone would have been freaking out. Not here - everyone is like - oh, well we have better things to do. Thor is also killed. This is mentioned once. Then Cap is resurrected when he's not a mutant and there was no back up for him. They are breaking their own rules. This book has turned into garbage.

I knew I was going to be disappointed by this series and surprise! I was. This was complete garbage and a waste of money. It was cleaned up as easy as saying - "that's the last issue, gotta wrap it up in a bow." Cap came back - How? There was back up for him. He wasn't a mutant. It was all bullshit writing. Not sure how anyone liked this garbage.

I am so over this storyline. They have dragged and dragged this story out so far that there's literally nothing left. I understand that they did it to get to 1050, but as a reader I now dread having Action in my pull for the week. But I've gone this far as might as well see it to the end. Plus I'm tired of paying $5.00 for an additional ongoing story that I didn't ask for. Detective does the same thing.

This was a great issue with plenty of action. This issue should have come 3 months ago. This series is so drawn out and now we have to buy a completely different book to finish the story. What a bunch of bullshit. Only DC could come up with a way to screw over fans of this book. Though if they put Jon Kent into Action, I'm probably going to drop it anyway. The additional story is completely throw away. So much for my $1.00

Wow, the cover of this is so bad. The faces are almost laughable. I'm so tired of the additional story I don't want. I'm so glad the Warworld story arc is over. Here we a filler issue where Superman brings a couple of the Warworld kids home with him. He reunites with his wife and gives a speech. Meanwhile, we set up Luthor being his notorious self. In the backup story - how does Superman suddenly have his supersuit when returning from Warworld? Come on - continuity, guys.

Though the story is well-written, when you read an Alice story you expect some Wonderland. This issue had none and it was more about the villains than Alice. With only one issue left, I found this story lacking.

For the final issue in this series, it's pretty disappointing. Nothing really happens. Basically, the bad guys win. There was no action. No real storyline in Wonderland. It all took place in the sanitarium—kind of a waste of time.

This is a completely different take and I like the idea so far. It's a combo of Blade Runner meets Alien. You never see the aliens so early on in a story. I'm really interested to see how this goes. I hope they can stick the landing. The artwork is great too.

I like the idea behind this story. Synthetics looking for freedom are forced into a Suicide Squad mission to go where humans can't and fight aliens. The end is a bit of a twist. We will find out more in the next issue. I'm looking forward to it.

The cover of this one is great. A definitely throwback to Ripley. This is another really good issue. Not a lot of aliens in this one, but it definitely pushes the story forward. They meet the human settlers that have managed to survive. They play nice with the "Milkmen" androids until it's time to betray them. It's very Alien. Then Queenie shows up and they have no escape route. Good stuff.

Another exciting issue. I have no idea where the zombie stuff is coming from but I like what Kennedy is doing here. It actually feels fresh. He has some good military stuff going on and I felt sad when one of the androids was killed. So, good job on making the characters matter. I'm ready for the next one.

This issue definitely took things to a new level. It proved that none of the characters are safe. They are being taken out right and left, turning on one another, and the xenos are just there for a free snack. I don't think this is going to end well. Is there only one issue left?

I actually liked this series. I thought using the androids was a new take. Making it known that none of them were safe, made it more interesting. The grunts landed only to get whacked, which gave them a convenient exit from the planet. Having a human/alien hybrid was interesting as well. I felt it ended too quickly and conveniently. This series should have gone on for a few more issues to fully tell the story.

Unlike some others, I enjoyed the last mini-series. this one is drastically different. It feels more like John Carpenter's The Thing. Researchers in the ice is direct rip off of that movie. The whole set up is weird. Only 3 people in the research center, one has only one arm, a child, and the doctor is pregnant, so she can't even help herself if there are complications. I don't think a lot of thought went into this. Not as excited about this story that last few.

$6.00 for 30 pages, what is Marvel even thinking anymore? They have completely gone off the deep end. The story was okay. I like bringing back the daughter from the previous run, and it does feel like Alien, but we will have to see where it goes. Alien doesn't deserve to be a $5 or $6 book. THere's nothing really to dislike about this issue, but it seems very generic. We have the corporation trying to get the research from the mom. The daughter has a facehugger in her backpack that thaws out at just the right time and the invalid father with one hand is stuck in the brig. Meanwhile the crane drill crashes through the ice revealing dozens of Xenos that suddenly rise to full health out of some kind of video game. There's nothing in the Xeno history that says they can live through freezing. If they had unearthed a frozen ship, I would have accepted that more. Pretty average story so far. I know everyone hated on android story from Williamson, but I thought that one was far superior.

This issue continues with Zasha trying to find her android friend, though her having a male name as her cover is very weird. As things go to hell inside the ship they try to excavate, she fights through her old home in search of him. I think this volume is better than last. This one was a bit better than the last two, but not much happens. The base starts to explode, the husband escapes and gets the ship ready, while his pregnant wife, risks the lives of both children to get her notes that are written on paper. huh? Why are they are paper? If they were that valuable, why are they not on a thumbdrive around her neck? Meanwhile, the armed forces decide to go to war against the xenos, who are currently floating in frigid water beneath the ice. Again, can they live under there? I'm not sure.

This was the best issue thus far. Mostly because we get back to focusing on Zasha. She finds Dayton but is followed by her boss who has nefarious motivations. Meanwhile Xenos attack the salvaging group. I like that the acid blood breaks the cables. Not much of a fan of these ice aliens, but whatever. This issue was the best thus far. I really haven't liked it until now. The mother died in child birth of hybrid. I wish this was explained more. Why would she experiment on herself in this way? Though I like the idea, I don't really understand the motivation behind it, especially when this kind of risk would leave her real daughter an orphan. I liked the reveal of the boyfriend behing an android, but again, it raises more questions. WHy wasn't he able to repair his lost limb? I believe it wraps up next issue. I'm hoping for a good conclusion.

This was not an epic ending to any degree. The entire ending takes places in a small section of the original ship with the story bouncing between the Zasha/Dylan story and the frost aliens fighting the Xenomorphs. At least we will never see these characters again as Zasha makes a silly decision to commit suicdide. Let's see if we can get back on track with the next arc. I'm going to echo some of the other reviews because I felt the same way. It felt like we were jumping into a second or third issue and not a first. I had to google to see if this storyline took place somewhere else. Of course, Carol is the baddie, just like when she made that deal to kill all of the Avengers and they were hiding in a pocket universe. A bad storyline then and I feel like this is on a similar path. I do like Cap holding up his fist to tell them to stop. Very military and he should do that more often. I like seeing the classic Avengers, but I'm not invested yet. I don't know why all Avengers and JLA stories have to revolve around aliens. I'll get the second issue and see how it goes.

The mystery of why no one can remember anything continues. This one is about the soulsplitter, which has divided Dr. Doom in half. This was a neat little story, but ultimately unsatisfying because it felt very rushed. There was a lot that could have been done here and it seems like a wasted opportunity when it didn't move the main plot along at all.

Another action-packed issue featuring all of the greats, but I can understand that some people are saying, "Get on with it already." It's pretty, but what's the story? I agree here. It's been three issues of unconnected action scenes and we know someone is toying with them as they have no memories outside of these battles, but still, it has not been revealed or even hinted at. Landy is going to have to break the story soon.

I know many people don't like Greg Land's art, but I'm a fan of his. I think having Hawkeye sexualized with the loin cloth could have been left out. I was out of place and superfluous. However, I do like that someone was able to kick Carol's ass and break her hand. That was a good fight scene and they even added some heart with the Dave character. I actively cared for that character and was saddened when he was shot. I half expected them to leave him there with Spider-Woman calling for Masogeny, but she picked him up and ran to the jet. We are also getting a new villain rather than a re-hashed one. Let's see what happens.

This is a mixed bag for me. I really like this issue as a stand-alone. Spider-man taking on the entire Avengers team and coming out on top was pretty cool. He tricked the "villain" with his scientific knowledge and spidey sense and it was really fun. But as a last issue or going into another ongoing or limited series, it has a lot to be desired. Ultimately, the story went nowhere and that's where I have the problem. Now I am debating whether I'm going to pick up the next series or just drop it. I think they shot themselves in the foot by doing it this way especially when I know there's a Zab Wells series on the horizon. It's a head-scratcher.

I'm not sure what this was supposed to be. Though I collected MJ and Black Cat, I was never on board with MJ's powers. The explanation here doesn't make it any better. It actually makes it more stupid and unbelievable. I understand what everyone has been saying about this run and I agree completely, the writer is taking too many liberties with the source material and not giving the readers anything to hold on to. Let's see what happens next issue. The variant cover was nice.

This was all a bit strange. Not only them killing off Ms. Marvel for no reason in a book that she had no business being in in the first place -- but then leaking the information to the press two weeks ahead of time? The sacrifice was noble, but the baddie seemed so off-the-wall and generic. en having a more powerful baddie, just kill him without any setup. I think a lot of it was lazy writing. The kids disappear. Whatever. At least it's over. Still not a fan of Romita Jr.'s art.

I was pleasantly surprised with this issue. Most of Wonder Woman/Amazon stuff is written so badly that it's hard to read. It was completely coincidental that all of them ended up together, but aside from that I thought it was pretty solid. We get to see Nubia deflect bullets and Mary Marvel (Stop calling her Shazam- she can't see her own name without changing) save everyone. I wish Queen Hipolyta was at least a consultant. I enjoy the interaction between the characters, but Tom King's set up for this entire event is extremely lacking. I don't buy that thousands of Amazonians moved from Paradise Island to live in "man's world." It doesn't make any sense. Visiting - yes, but moved to live their lives in America? I don't buy it. I really like Mary Marvel as well, but the few digs that Josie did against men for no reason bothered me. "My condolences," when the rabbit said he was male and her going off on Nubia how all men are bad in the last few pages had no bearing on the story. If the Migdhall queen has a distrust of men, then show us the set up and give us an arc regarding this, just don't blurt it out like commentary. I like the interaction between the characters and I liked the reveal with Eris, but I'm so tired of these activist writers putting their political ideals into comics when it's uncalled for. I was worried in the beginning that we would get more pandering, but the story kept on target for the most part. Peacemaker has Nubia and Faruka at gunpoint, but thanks to Hoppy they get away. Yara is affected by the golden apple and stops Mary from changing. They fall hundreds of feet and somehow she survives. Not sure how. When Faruka started giving her speach about how Man's world was so evil, I started wondering why the Amazons would even go there if it was so bad. This was a very disappointing ending to a decent story. I was hoping it wouldn't lean heavily into feminism, but my hopes fell on the universe's deaf ears. We start with revisionist history of female gods teaching men everything they know. "But man was furious that woman possessed such knowledge at all." An actual line from the issue. Wait, I just puked a little in my mouth. The villain gives her life in a flashback all to show how bad men are. Apparently, this book is doing the heavy lifting for Tom King's Wonder Woman book as that has taken a break to have Superman and WW search for Batman's birthday present, while this book pretty much wraps up the assassinations in the bar. The first third of this book dropped my rating down. I'm a huge Aquaman fan and I'm so tired of seeing the Mamoa Aquaman instead of the character I grew up with. Flash gets into a stupid fight with Iris when he could have easily picked everything up for the party in less than 20 mins and forgetting the party makes him look careless. Something a CSI would not be. Then Aquaman gets into a yelling match with Mera right in front of the other council members? Come on. She tells him that he should starting acting like a king and he says - "I'm outta here." That's not Aquaman. Can I please have the old Aquaman back? Geoff Johns has been the only writer to do him right in years. Shave the damn beard already. Reed just did it, it's time Aquaman did it as well. The rest of the book was decent, setting up the mystery of song. I hope the next issue is better since I bought all 3 as a package.

Halfway through this issue, the story just went off the rails. I liked how Aquaman ran to Atlantis to get to Mera, but he should have been worried about Atlantis as a whole. Instead, he swam past everyone to get to her. Then the reveal of an Atlantean space program fueled by stolen speed force - WTF. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard and I've heard some stupid stuff. Then the line, "I can't be a king without listening to my queen." What the hell does that mean, that's a whipped puppy who can't make decisions for himself. That's not Aquaman in the least. Jeeze this went downhill fast.

Laziest wrap-up ever. Barry knew that the Iris was fake and yet he was accepting of the whole thing. Not sure what was going on there. Then they needed filler because the story (and I use that term lightly) wasn't big enough so they did a bunch of two-page spreads. Very disappointing.

I really want my old Aquaman back. Shave the beard like Reed Richards just did and put Mera's costume back like it was in the movie. This issue was a bunch of wasted filler. Trevor talks to a committee about not attacking Atlantis, then we cut to an Atlantis school bus for no reason, then we are back to the discussion about attacking Atlantis, then the news comes in about the Justice League dying. I'm not sure if this is the last issue, but if Jackson is the new Aquaman, then I'm out either way.

There was a lot about this issue that I liked. I liked the pacing. The action scenes tied together with the recruitment scenes was great. By doing this, we didn't get just a recruitment issue. Carol actually acted like a thinking, caring leader, as opposed to what were getting in the feminist movement that Kelly Thompson's run transformed into. I understand why Cap America can't be on the team - it's like having Storm and Cyclops on the same team - they would step on each other's toes for leadership. (Cap would end up coming out on top and diminishing Carol.) However, his presence is missed on an Avenger title - Carol will never replace Cap. I also am not a fan of Falcon Cap (that movie is going to tank) I prefer him as Falcon. Steve is back, there's no reason for two Cap Americas.

Not really a fan of this storyline. The art and action are good, but I don't understand much of anything else. The villains don't have much of a backstory. Carol, as leader, isn't even in this issue, and two street-level characters are the ones that have been sent into space? Why exactly? I don't feel like this has been thought through very well. After looking at some other reviews, I must be one of the few people that's not liking this story arc. I still don't understand why Carol sent two street-level characters into space to blow up a city, where if anything went wrong, there was no way for them to escape the detonation. Thank God this story is finally over. I still don't understand why Carol sent the street-level characters into space to blow up the city when they could easily die out there if something went wrong with the portal when both Thor and Carol can breathe in space. Whatever. I like how they took each of the Ashen down individually in unique ways -- except Tony. He made his armor phase? What? That's pushing it. I must have read a different book than everyone else. I am not liking this arc. Taking the Arthurian names and sticking them on gender-swapped sci-fi characters? Wow that's new and brave Jed McKay. You can't come up with original names? The entire issue is nothing but a single fight scene with no depth. The best part was Thor laughing and telling Nightmare that he won. What the hell even is this? The entire two-issue book is nothing but one big fight scene. It has no substance whatsoever. I still don't buy that there was a Hulk prior to Banner. Truthfully, I've stayed away from Aaron's Avengers and now I know why. So, I'm not sure if these characters are from a different dimension or a different time. I really don't care, this was so bad. I picked up because of the art and hoped it might be good. I was wrong. I thought it might be connected to the Kang Timeless book, but I guess that one hasn't released yet.

Unlike others, I'm a fan of Greg Land's art. I loved seeing She-Hulk get some action, since she can't do anything but drool over Jack of Hearts in her own series. I like the twist of something bigger out there and the Tiamok chick had a good fight scene. Nice final splash as well. I'm looking forward to this series.

The art is so beautiful and dynamic that I can't give this a bad score. It felt like a filler issue, that's for sure. Even with all of the action going on. It was all about a diversion so the bad girl can break out of prison. Not sure that's enough of story to do a whole comic about. It's definitely a slow burn, but I hope they pick up the pace soon. It was good to see Jan doing some action, but the "I love you," "I hate you" dialogue was stale after the first bubble.

I like this series so far. Unlike others, I am a fan of Land's art. This was an action-packed issue with the big bad showing up and a twist that the Beyonder throws at them while keeping in character of his selfish and self-perservation flaws.

I like Greg Land's art, but this is a wasted issue. It's just the Avengers vs. the fake Avengers. I have no idea why. I don't even remember them being introduced in the last issue. The only element of the story that moves forward is the Beyonder being stripped of his powers and falling toward Earth, through the bubble. It will be wrapping up soon.

Wow, I have a completely different opinion than everyone else. I found this issue bland and confusing. FIrst of all regardless of what I've read or not read of Janet in the past, the fact that Luke goes to Janet to investigate a series of murders when his own wife is a full-fledged and licensed detective makes no sense whatsoever. Then when all of the villain simply got up after being shot and were determined to be dead lost me for the remainder of the issue. Then we have Vision/Not-Vision. I won't be continuing this. This is a great throwback to a simpler time. I enjoyed seeing all of the characters like they were during the 70s and 80s. I wish there was a bit more story, but a battle scene between the Avengers and the Hulk, what could be more epic than that? Good stuff. Compared to Aaron's run, this is an award-winner.

I didn't like this one as much as I did the previous issue, mostly because the dwarf king was a bit hookey, but I do appreciate the nostalgia. They break into the Baxter Building, get attacked by Reed's security system, and then just leave only to accidentally transport the Dwarf King. It's all a bit too convenient for me, but it was still fun.

This is a fun series. I'm liking the progression where it's not just a couple of scenes and the book is over. Here we start in one battle the dwarf gets away, garners an army and comes back to fight again, all in the same issue. The plot point of the book, drives Kang, which is how we started. It's good.

Another fun issue. Thor realizes that the King Dwarf can unmake his hammer. This seemed out of character for him, but he changes back to Donald Blake for no reason than to hide. Not sure about that part, but the rest was good with the team confronting the lava men and Cap enticing The King Dwarf to throw the hammer which ultimately found its way back to Thor. Kang makes a quick appearance which will follow up in the next issue.

I've liked the story up to this point. I enjoy Paul Levitz's writing, especially on Aquaman, but I found myself going back to re-read the ending four times because I couldn't remember what had happened. The end was a letdown. He didn't stick the landing on this one, in my opinion. the closing field was fine along with the save from Tony and I find myself, even now, not remembering what happened after that. They jumped through time and landed on Earth in their time - I think. I still hope there is a follow-up to the book.

I agree with most of the reviews. Good art, but nothing really happens. One page of Harley and one page of Bullock and the rest is just filler. We are introduced to the monster jokers and he makes a deal with the real joker. That's it. I hope there's more to this.

The art is great and though Joker stayed tied up for most of the issue, the beginning battle and dialogue were great. The art is phenomenal. Overall a good book so far.

At least he creates a viable reason why Batman has to team up with the Joker. Though he passes the test, he is powerless to save two people. After the event, however, it is never mentioned again, and this would weigh pretty high on Bruce. We learn a little more about the villain. Let's see where it goes from here. The artwork continues to be amazing.

This is definitely a setup issue. We start with the death of Batman only to have the new commissioner Gordan visit Alfred to say he doesn't know where Bruce is. They go after Firefly and we get a reveal at that end. Is that supposed to be Bruce/Keaton? It semi-looks like him, but if it is, I'm really confused. I'm willing to see where this goes. Two issues in a row, a third of the story completed and Batman has not showed up. Instead, we get a Harley with no Joker, and Bruce playing Firefly. This issue has turned bad real fast. The art is great, but I'm not sure I like the story beats. Robin is shot, and Penguin commits suicide. It was great seeing Alfred for a page. I'm sure where the story is going but it doesn't seem very heroic and if Robin can get shot so easily, what was his training for? Let's see where the story goes, but I wasn't as impressed with this issue as some people. I enjoyed the Catwoman story more.

There was such a sense of danger in this issue. The team all coming in to make the save and not making a dent. Of course, this is simply Terminator retold in a Batman story, but I am interested to know the bot's origin and how they are going to destroy it. This issue was definitely full of action where the hero was simply looking to get away and regroup.

If you're looking for a Batman book that's full of action, then this is it. I'm still looking for some substance to this story and not finding much. I know this was established before - that there's an alternate personality within Bruce that's like a humanity switch, but I didn't like it then and I don't much care for that now. I appreciate all the callbacks to previous runs, but all we have at the core is a killer robot. I do like that he calls Tim his son and that's what brings Bruce back. Now that Superman has shown up, he should be able to tear the bots limbs off, but I guess we'll see what happens.

My problem with this is that it doesn't feel like a Batman book. The further this goes, the more it feels like a JLA story. Superman is smarter than to just charge something holding Kryptonite and Batman says as much and yet Superman does it anyway. I'm ready for this to be over already. I think this story has already run its course. And we already saw this with the OMAC's.

I agree with some of the reviews that this has gone too far. A Bat-bot that is stronger than Amazo and one that Batman created. Didn't he learn from the whole OMAC thing? The action is good, but far-fetched even in the comic book world. It's breaking too many rules.

Chip wrote himself into a corner. I agree with what everyone is saying. There's no way he would have survived in space, re-entry, or landing -- especially right where he wanted to. He landed right in front of Robin for chrissake. Give me a break. Then Superman still couldn't beat the robot. Somehow he turned his heat vision back on Superman and he didn't shut it off. Completely stupid. I'm not sure why Superman can't just rip its arms off. Then Batman loads it with compassion? Really? If you were to write a synopsis of this issue it would sound ludicrous. I hope it gets better from here, but I don't see how when Batman is once again in another dimension.

This is a mixed bag. It is delving into a whole new dimension with skeletal Jim Gordon which I assume only exists in Bruce's head, but it's never explained why. Even Bruce doesn't question his appearance. Then we have a dystopian future type of story. Tim is going nuts in Gothan looking for Bruce and is driven to find him, while Dick is like, "Don't worry he'll show back up. Let's just do our jobs." I do like the contrast between them and how Tim feels like one of his limbs is going with Bruce missing. We will see where this goes, but it feels like we have completely changed tracks from the previous issue. It doesn't even feel like the same writer and, of course, the artist has changed.

I miss the days of Batman detecting and fighting his gallery of rogues. Now, we have deadly robots that supposedly beat Superman, Batman falling from the moon, and now being shot into another dimension by a ray gun. This would have worked better as an Elseworlds, but in general continuity, not so much. I'm not sure how long Chip is going to stretch this out.

I'm liking the backup story more than the main story. Batman digs up his own body to examine it. Not sure how he gets access to med equipment and no one stops him from entering with a dead body, but whatever. He finds residual multi-versal residue, whatever that is. He fights Dent and teams up with Catwoman who takes him on a trip down below. Chip needs to get on the ball here.

Once again, the backup story is better than the main story. And Batman gets his hand cut off? What the hell is Chip doing? Not a fan of this at all. I do like seeing Tim back as he should be. The scene with his mom was great. Probably the best scene in the book.

I haven't liked this entire story. I wasn't even that enthusiastic about Failsafe. Just to round this out, the Villain is flat and not really a threat, Catwoman gets the drop on him and kicks him through a portal, and, to top it all off, he gets his hand cut off. What is even going on here? There was speculation about Alfred going back with him, which would have made the story worth it in some regards, but that didn't even happen. Then he gets shunted through a host of dimensions simply for fan service. It was neat seeing the other Batmen, but it was so obvious that there was no logical reason behind it. All this for $6.00. Not worth it, in my opinion. After all of the backup stories with Tim, he just gets thrown into the end without being involved in the slightest way. This was a crap story in my opinion.

This issue was so forgettable that I had forgotten that I had read it. I was surprised that they even addressed Catwoman being an escaped convict, but then Batman acts completely out of character and says, "You don't belong there because you killed Valmont to save me." He would never say that. He would offer his lawyers, but he would definitely give her the option of giving up on her own, or him taking her back to prison. He would never play favorites and turn a blind eye to it. Just like he did with Wonder Woman when she killed Max Lord. Then he comes home to party and he envisions them all on fire. I think Chip has lost his damn mind and doesn't know this character at all.

This whole event is just stupid. Apparently, Chip has no idea how the bat family works. He's destroying 30 years of relationships and characterization to force this story to work. That's not how writing should be done. You don't force the characters into a story, you let the characters propel the story. Damien is the only one who doesn't turn on Bruce. Props to him. Dick, Tim, Barbara, Cassandra, and Spoiler all act outside of their character. This is a piece of garbage and after this event, I won't be reading anything by Chip or Tini again. The art continues to be great, but as for the story, Chip needs some therapy if he thinks anyone is buying the Gotham War as anything but a comedy. Even in light of this whole Zur thing, Batman and Damien are correct. Crime is still occuring, even if it's simply a rise in burglaries against the rich. Even that's not true, since in Nightwing and in Batman & Robin (which are both in continuity) violent crimes are still ocurring. This is not only out of character for Batman, but it's out of character for every character being written - and I use that term lightly. This was an interesting start, even though it was 60 pages, the story is far from over. Catwoman/Selina has now been captured twice. She needs to go back to superhero school apparently. I like the interaction between Batman and Dylan, though I don't think Graucho Marx works in a Batman book. It definitely has some nice fight scenes and drama. And I love that Bruce took over Downton Abby.

I think this team-up really works. The beginning with them hunting for the elements for the cure to the Joker serum, and Dylan being a fish out of water, to him then being in his element when he works with Constantine. Obviously Michelle Bandini could not get the art done in time, so they brought someone in to help her out and boy was it obvious. The art took a huge downswing in the beginning of this issue. Oh boy, this is so hard to write. I was so looking forward to this book and what I got was a hodge-podge of story points just thrown together like a kid trying to clean up his room quickly by throwing everything into the closet. It's actually pretty sad. I'm not sure if Capullo had already changed the origin where the Court of Owls gunned down the Waynes, but I don't like when writers try to change origin stories. Then he went back to the Joker face-off from over three years ago. Why? McFarlane has to tell us over and over again how they are evenly matched and what's up with the dead zone where Spawn doesn't have his powers? I haven't read Spawn in years, but when did that become a thing? Overall, pretty disappointing.

I just reread this one since I bought a signed copy. What it has going for it is that it feels like a book out of the 80s or 90s. The characters seem more pure and not as jaded as they do in current books. I like when writers go back to the character's roots. Geoff Johns did that with Aquaman in rebirth and I'm waiting for that happen again.

A comic with a beginning middle and end, what a novel idea. Though the villain is pretty commonplace, it puts the characters in a situation where they have to rely on one another. They rely on each other's strengths and each of them is willing to sacrifice themselves for the other. This is something we have not seen in heroes for some time. A brotherhood. A comradeship. Again - how novel. Supergirl is conflicted. Guilt taking its toll on her. Feeling remorse for more than a single panel or not at all is barely seen in comics these days. I hope there are more books like this one in the pipeline.

I really like this issue. A good Robin-centric story is hard to find these days. Having him stuck in another time and gravitate toward the circus was cool and having Batman appear on the trapeze was awesome. Though them traveling through time like it's no big deal was a bit of a stretch, even in comics. I like the little mystery. It was just a fun issue.

This issue has a lot of good elements. Back to the original feel of Robin. Love that. The expression on Superman's face when David repeats Clark's own story. A visit to Candor. Though, why give him a suit with a cape? - unknown. Apparently, they don't want him to fit in with normal society. And he can't fly, yet he leaps across the gap between two buildings. Then the reveal of the original Teen Titans - again- love.

The villain is the Key, whom I haven't seen in quite a while. This really a coming-of-age story for Boy Thunder. He has to find himself and the confidence in his abilities to be a hero. We meet the original Teen Titans, which was cool and we have the unveiling of the Joker. Good stuff.

Another good issue. It was great to see the original teen titans. It was good to see Thunder Boy get lectured about controlling his emotions and not kill. Joker and Key made a good team-up. Not sure how Superman pulled the water out without pulling out all of the people and I'm not sure how Batman was able to close the gate with his car, but just roll with it. The cliffhanger was good as well.

Another great issue. Superman feeling helpless and Batman getting his team together to track down Kid Thunder. Then the reveal of who Kid Thunder really is. Though I have to admit I don't understand how this works, but I guess we'll find out.

I thought he turned into Magog in the last issue, but apparently, that was not the case. So, from the beginning I was confused. After I got over that, I thought the book was quite good. Superman going through a whirlwind of emotions really draws you in. I'm looking forward to the new storyline.

I wasn't extremely happy with this issue. I don't think Dick or Kara acted like in previous iterations. They went to dinner in their costumes, which was not something Dick would do. He's not an idiot and he would have planned out dinner to the Nth degree. Even his younger version was a planner, here he just came off as a schmuck for a laugh. If anything, he would have over-planned it, which would also have been funny and kept with his character. Do you think he became the leader of the Teen Titans by acting like this? Kara openly says that she didn't like herself around him. Who says that about Dick (no pun intended)? Not a good issue when compared to the others.

I love seeing Batman with the yellow bat symbol on his chest. I like the beginning cold open and mystery with the Metamorpho origin story. Seeing Jimmy Olsen front and center was also cool and the last page was a slap in the face. Nice.

I really enjoyed this issue. Though, the twist about the robots replacing humans made my eyes roll. Do they really have the technology to make an identical duplicate? Did they not do an autopsy on Stagg since he was a murder victim? Autopsies always include an examination of the brain, so there's a major plot hole there. Discounting that, there was a lot of energy in this issue and it was good to see Bruce Wayne play a role outside of Batman. Superman stopping Metamorpho and the small fight with the robots was also good. Pretty happy about how the ending was set up and executed. Looking forward to the next issue.

Another great issue with Superman being out of the fight for most of the issue, Batman showing up wearing armor made of the metal men and a couple of villains that seem nigh impossible to beat. When I saw Robin lying on the ground with his leg burned by acid, I did feel for him. Not sure how he's still walking on it. Of course, they will discount the fact that his leg would be incredibly scarred. Good issue overall. Some imaginative sequences.

This was a good wrap up to the story. I figured out the "past" hint, but I was confused about they retrieved Amazo from the past. Did I miss something? I did like the constant loop between them. I thought that was pretty smart.

I really enjoyed this, it had some really good scenes and great dialogue. Batman continues to verbally spar with Superman and I love the idea of the Riddler being manipulated by a Kryptonian. This was a somewhat satisying ending to this storyline. I like when stories don't end exactly right. So, David/Magog comes up with the perfect solution, kill Gog and Darkseid leaves. Of course, theis turns all the heroes against him, which eventually will turn Magog into the character we know from Kingdom Come. I think Sush is a really bad idea. Completely derivative. I like that Batman tells Damien that he has an assignment for him and sends him to school. When is the kid supposed to sleep? This was the kind of comic that's fun while you're reading it, but once you think about all of the holes in the story, it brings it down. The coincidences are off the chain. They get there and immediately find a body. Even if Bruce knew the situation, how did he know where to find the body? How did they get through the forcefield to get into the area to begin with? I was worried that this would be like the cartoon. Thankfully, it wasn't. Robin is being controlled in some way. I like that Damien is not in charge of his facilities. It wouldn't make much sense otherwise. I do love that Alfred is back, though we don't know how yet, but I really don't care. I just like that he's back. It was pretty touching and probably my favorite part of the book. Obviously, Waid is connecting this to World's Finest in some way.

There are parts of this I like and parts I don't like. Ripping the rags off Ragman? Not sure I like that. I definitely did not like all of the flashbacks in a spooky, haunted house scenario. It no longer felt like Batman. I do like the reveal of the Robins and Alfred.

If nothing else, the last few pages of this book will really get you if you're a Batman fan. These last few pages are done so well that it doesn't matter what the rest of the book is about. It has some good action and good inner dialogue. My only problem is the villain. I don't care about him in the least. I do like what's going on with Talia as well. All-in-all in good issue.

I love Batman getting the helm in this issue. I don't even mind that he doesn't know how to use it and somehow can cast spells. I always thought that Dr. Fate took over the body of the person who wore the helm. Nezah's son coming out of nowhere was the one thing that felt completely out of place. It was never set up or explained as far as I know. I swore off event books after the disaster that was AXE, so I won't be getting Lazarus Planet.

I really enjoyed this issue. It did feel more like a Batman comic than most of the comics out there. I liked Catwoman double-crossing Riddler and the appearance of Clock King. I'm interested in the artifact. I would have rated it higher if not for the first few pages. They just seemed to go on forever and only one or two of them connected with the ending. I am over the woman cursing in every text balloon. That's getting old.

I'm not sure this really stuck the landing. The eye, the thing everyone was after, was sold to a pawn shop. We still have no idea, and why the government wanted it. And the agent living from a gunshot wound to the head - it's hard to believe. Plus this is a very different take on Catwoman. Not sure I like it. The artwork is beautiful, however, I just wish the ending was better.

I'm not really sure how this fits into the canon. Taylor is shown crash-landing in the beginning but he doesn't show up for the rest of the issue. Nova doesn't meet Zira and Cornelius until they meet Taylor. I love the tie to the original movie/tv series. I'm not much of a fan of the new stuff. Let's see what Marc does with it. I know this is reffering to a movie from the late 1970s, but I enjoyed this issue and the reference to the clan that worshipped the bomb. It was weird to bring in art from a previous artist. I'm really enjoying this little story taking place in the 1972 Planet of the Apes IP. I still think that Nova did not meet Cornelius and Zira until Taylor had arrived on Ape Earth. This is interesting so far, but this issue feels like it's just setting up the pieces on a chessboard. Of course, that is a requirement for a good story, but I'm going to reserve my opinion of the how good the story is until I see it laid out. It seems like a straight supervillains vs. superheroes story right now. I hope this is not what it is, as that's just too generic for all these characters.

This issue is good just on shock value. I only read the first issue of Ambassadors, so I wasn't too connected to those characters, but I knew how built up they were. Damn, did they go down quickly. I was a bit disappointed with this issue. I am unfamiliar with the characters that Hitgirl comes across in the prehistoric past. It was strange to me that there was this futuristic society living among the dinosaurs. This is too much like Avengers Endgame with the warlord having a whole armada coming through a portal. The art and action are all good, but I really didn't need a retelling of Avengers: Endgame. I was not even a fan of Avengers: Endgame. Whenever you introduce time travel, you can't simply use it to erase the entire story, to resurrect your characters as it it was all a dream. I find that pretty lazy. I'm defiitely reading a different book than many of these other reviewers. 10's across the board about how aweome the story and artwork are? Really? For one, the artwork is complete garbage. A Darwyn Cooke ripoff that can't quite makie it work. The coloring is god aweful and the story makes no sense whatsoever. A simple phone call to Diana would have sufficed to have all of this avoided. I really like this issue, but they are on a train made of adamantium (huh?) I thought adamantium was rare and this tidbit isn't even used in the story. Plus if you're doing a fight scene on a train, then there should be parts of it that are outside the train. The end felt extremely abrupt. I'm sorry that it's ending next issue. This series started out so well and to see it turn to crap is disappointing. The ending was a complete cop out. This was advertised as the end of the arc and it's continuing in tomb of dracula? This run took a terrible dip in quality, but it's on a upward turn. I don't understand his past with Dracula or why he hasn't killed him. I must have missed the run about him being sheriff and Vampires now being common knowledge and accepted. That seems weird to me in the Blade universe, since his whole existence is based on wiping them out. This could have been a lot better. I feel like they just teamed Blade with Hulk because the Hulk book is selling well right now. They didn't even bother putting Charlie in it, so they screw up the Hulk continuity even though they put an editor note in there that it was in continuity. What is the obsession with writers wanting to send their characters to Hell? Chip sent Daredevil to Hell to rescue his friends and now Blade is going there to find out information on the Adana. That's not Blade's thing. If anything, he should have teamed up with Ghost Rider. That would have made more sense. It's not like they don't know each other. Once there, of course, he just happens to run into Rotha's father. What a coincidence. I'm really over this story at this point. It feels like it's going nowhere. This story has just overstayed its welcome. This should have wrapped up in issue 6. Instead, we are now on issue 9 and the battle between the Blade and Adana is finally coming to a head. The beginning with the werewolf was fun and the infiltration of the library. This was definitely a better issue that last few. This is nothing like the other Blade Runner series. It's set in the desert in an almost apocalyptic environment. And the artwork is atrocious. It looks completely amateur or at least over-stylized. If Elle is a replicant, when did they start making children replicants and why? The whole thing is just weird. I like the idea of a samurai replicant, but this is just disappointing. I'll give it one more issue.

This is Mad Max, not Blade Runner. It doesn't feel anything like Blade Runner. Based on the cover, I was expecting a badass Blade Runner that looks like a ninja. Instead, we get a teenage-looking synth (which is weird) in a desert setting, who needs to help a human family. In addition, the art is horrendous. I'm out of this one. Canceling my subscription.

I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. There isn't a whole lot of information yet. The art is pretty good and moody. The dialogue between father and son is good and the mystery of what the father is, is handled well. There are some wasted pages in the beginning doing almost a movie credit montage. It's even more obvious in this issue that this comes straight from a movie script. Kudranski not only wanted to write it, he wanted to direct it. There are so many panels of ECU Eyes, it's crazy. Overall, I really like the tone of this book and we finally get some action. It's obviously a very small story since there are only 2 issues left. There's a lot wrong with this issue. I don't understand several things. A transfusion with syringes? Usually it by bite or dripping the blood down the throat of someone close to dead. He just happened to have tubing and a couple of syringes laying around? Then the concept of killing a sire and making them human again after they were dead? That doesn't make any sense. In the original Dracula by Stoker, they were able to bring Nina back because she was in the middle of the transition. She had never actually died. The cover didn't help the sales of this book as you can't tell what it's about. Plus the name had me thinking it was about Black Canary when I saw it on the list. I was pleasantly surprised by it. I would have rated this higher if I had any idea what was going on. I don't see a plot anywhere in this extended issue. I like Steve's arc with asking Tony for money to buy the apartment building, but I don't see how that ties in with the Nazis at the end. I really enjoyed this issue. It's great to see Steve Rogers back in Cap series that feels like Cap. He's still the man out of time and I enjoyed him training the kid to fight bullies. I also enjoyed all of the villain groups combining their forces. There is a mystery going on with the guy that used to be an ally. I do agree with someone's comment about following orders. Though I think that if the word "blindly" would have changed the connotation. Cap is, of course, referring to Nazi soldiers, but to our soldiers, it does seem like a slap in the face. This line should have been reworded. Something like, "Blindly following orders is what the Nazis did. Do you want to be compared to them?" or something along those lines. This way it doesn't blanketly refer to all military including our own soldiers. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

I love seeing Steve Rogers as Cap, but I'm really confused by this whole story. It's just not making any sense. Having a new type of Hydra is cool, but messing with the origin of the shield and putting a message in it is absurd. Too much time has passed to make this relevant or believable. Then Bucky has a fight with Peggy. I'm so utterly confused that they're losing me. And the villain keeps saying, "History will not remember you." Again, too much time has passed. It's too late for that treat. History already remembers him. I hope this gets better, this issue put too much of a negative spin on the story. I hope it corrects itself.

I was always uncertain about this Binary character. She was born out of strange circumstances where Carol just willed her into existence, now she can change her form at will. She seems very OP. I also didn't like that they had two different artists on this and stuck vampires into it. I hope they're not going down the DC route with the vampires. And the magical tribunal seems very out of place. How does Enchantress even remember Ove if all that occurred in the future? Not a fan of what's going on right now. I think Kelly has jumped the shark on this one. Hopefully she rights herself.

I'm not a fan of this storyline. I'm not a fan of a sentient being that just came out of Carol's power. I'm not liking any of this. And I'm over this trial thing and it's only been two issues. I just hope this wraps up quickly and we can get onto another story. The whole dragon thing didn't work at all in my opinion.

I'm just going to call this issue the hugging issue. There is so much hugging going on, that it got to cringe levels. At least this storyline has come to an end. I was glad to see Binary go. She was muddying the waters and I still do buy that Carol birthed her from her powerset. The whole trial thing was crap. Also, Amora put a little girl in danger. Not sure what that was about. Let's see where we go from here.

The problem with this issue for me is the AXE attachment. I do not like AXE, so there was a huge chance I wasn't going to like this issue. I probably shouldn't have gotten it, but I didn't want to break my run. It was really all about the cat from the movie. Hopefully, it will be a new arc in the next issue.

I liked this issue a lot. It was good to see a heterosexual relationship in comics. Rhodey and Carol's relationship is cute and their banter and playfulness are mostly good, though sometimes the dialogue feels wooden or contrived. Overall, it does play well. Though once he's gone, the estrogen takes over with only one male on the team. I wish she would mix up more. I understand that Hazmat has been on her team for a while, but she could have been swapped her out for a male character as she is not going to lend anything special in space. Also, I thought they were going to divide them up since they basically ignored Binary's SOS. I like where this is going, but it's a bit messy.

This reveal was really jarring. It felt like an immense jump-cut without going back to fill in the blank time. That's not something that should have waited until the following issue. I'm also getting tired of the all-female cast. After 44 issues, it's getting kinda old. At least let's have Rhodey in there with Gambit. Gambit as the only male feels off. Not to mention Kelly Thompson going off the rails on Twitter attacking fans for no reason. I hope she gets her head back on straight.

I'm not really sure where this is going. It's been three issues already and it feels drawn out. This issue was one big battle scene with a reveal of the Brood empress at the end. There's really nothing to report here except that Remy is the real hero of the story as he cuts a chunk of his own leg off to free everyone. Otherwise not a lot happens. It's teased that some of them are impregnated, but we don't know who yet. The whole thing with Rogue is confusing. If she was reincarnated, it would be back on Earth. Yet Remy says that she could be on the ship. It doesn't make much sense.

This is a filler issue. Nothing really happens. There is far too much inner dialogue here. They are trying to rescue Binary, who is being tortured, yet they have time to sit and chat for half the issue. Carol gives Psylocke permission to learn about her child. It's all just strange. I'm not reading the X-men tie-in, but they find Rogue -- I'm confused here. Rogue died and was reincarnated on Earth (as all mutants do), yet she's here with the Brood. What the..? A meh issue.

I'm not sure where Thompson is going with this. She brings up once again that the Rogue they killed was not Rogue, but she never answered what they killed. We get a two-page spread of Rogue retelling her side of the story without ever addressing this. Why? Don't know. They save Binary, but Carol has to take her place. Not sure why Jessica couldn't zap the crap of the tendrils from range, while Carol flies out of there taking the Binary with her. I felt it was lazy writing without explaing why the heroes are remaining in this situation. Also, I thought when Rogue takes someone's powers, they pass out for a bit. This never happens with a weakened Laura and it still takes Rogue a good amount of time to heal. She isn't even healed by the end of the issue. A lot of plot holes.

Not sure if I read the same issue that the critics did, but there are so many missteps here. There are some good elements too, but definitely more of one than the other. While in the middle of a battle for their lives, they are cracking jokes and bantering. I can see this from Siper-man, but that's not the personality of these characters. At one point one female character even tells the others to fight more and talk less. Rogue and Hazmat are relaxing to get their energy back - What? If my friends were fighting for their lives, I don't care how wounded I am, I'm in that battle. Gambit at least does something here, but he increases kinetic energy to the point of explosion and he pumps this energy into Binary. Not sure why she didn't explode. At very least they should have showed a massive energy boost. Kelly Thompson had a huge opportunity to delve into Carol's hopes and fears during her captivity and she doesn't do anything with it. Let's see if Binary stays dead, because if they bring her right back, then this story has no weight at all.

After 50 issues that have gone continuously down in quality. I'm glad the series is ending. I'm not sure why they never switched writers over the entire four-year run of the book. It needed a new perspective and never got it. They let Kelly T. run it into the ground. This storyline with the brood was entirely drawn out to the point of boredom. Let's see what happens with the final issue.

What the hell was this supposed to be? The final issue and all Kelly could up with was a party and a whole bunch of dialogue of characters telling Carol how great she is. Come on, give me a break. An over-sized 30-page book with absolutely zero action. I'll repeat my other reviews by saying she should have been off this book 20 issues ago. She's had nothing new to say about the character for some time. The book has been wallowing in her feminism, rah-rah girl power group for some time. This was never meant to be a team book, but it became one. Now I heard that she is taking over Birds of Prey- I wonder why? I just hope they just don't sit there and talk about their feeling and tell each other how great they all are. I'm going to try it, but if it's more of same then I'm going to pass.

I was hoping for something that wasn't completely average. That's exactly what this was. The art was far too cartoony and after building up that the Kree/Skrull War was over and Unification Day had arrived, they are attacked by the Kree? Huh? Who did they negotiate the peace with, if not the Supreme Intelligence? So he just decided to start the war back up? This was all very confusing. The dialogue was very low-brow. Someone needs to rework this character. I like Carol and there's something here, but people just play with her upper layer, instead of delivering deeper. The only reason I rated it this high is because the artwork was decent. This is everything wrong with comics today. Ann Nocenti pushing her politics and activism into almost every page. It's a preach comic, through and through. The Storm book was so bad I could barely get through the first issue and the same here. She needs to stop writing comics. Go write some articles for some activism sites. In this space, where readers are paying $5.00 per issue, we don't want to be preached at. In the words of Critical Drinker, "Go away now!"

Sometimes I really miss Ram V. No kick in the nuts to men with cringe sexist dialogue. Dicks' dialogue is the only one that agreed with during this issue. And what is with Robin's face on the cover? Was it a mistake that made it to print?

This issue had its ups and downs. I really like the beginning. It was good to see the purple costume again. The battle with Amygdala was okay. I did like the board meeting with Black Mask, but the relationship with Eiko doesn't really work and I don't know why she put on a Catwoman costume at the end. This issue was a bit confusing.

While the issue wasn't bad per se, the dialogue was clunky and the story was all over the place. I had to go back and reread panels and pages because the dialogue didn't flow. There was a jump cut in there too between pages. Howard brought back the Noah/Dario plot after a year and Catwoman jumps down Valmont's throat and yells at him without even knowing the circumstances. That's not really Catwoman. They rescue the financier and then leave him there alone. It would have been better if they had him take the helicopter and they waited for theirs to arrive. It would have made more sense. There's also a continuity issue with the financier. First, he has a robe on and no pants, then when he's running, he has pants, then when he's waiting for the helicopter, he has no pants again. This issue had some decent moments, but overall it was pretty disjointed.

This is a mixed bag. There is no action in this one for the most part. I'm not a big Valmont fan and I'm looking forward to him going away. The relationship between them feels forced. Perhaps for a female reader, he works when he spouts nonsense in an aristocratic way, but there's no appeal to him for me. Selina goes to Italy to save Dario, who is in Gotham. I didn't realize he was in Gotham at first, until he's revealed to be in a trunk. So, why would she go to Italy to save him when the clock is clicking down in Gotham? It's a mystery. She would have been better served tracking him down in Gotham and bringing him to Italy to be absolved by the family. This story is convoluted and doesn't make much sense. Valmont gets them on a plane with people who want to kill them, yet they don't. The assassins are inept morons. Let's get rid of Valmont already, or have him betray her. That would be more interesting.

The things I like: Batman appearing, though their dialogue is pretty bad and he mentions nothing about Catwoman possibly killing people. I like that she sees him as her endgame, though she's literally sleeping with the other guy. I'm not a fan of the other protagonist in the least. A major problem with this issue: Dario was put in the trunk while Selena was still in Italy. Travel to the states from Italy with customs, ground transportation, luggage, etc. takes all day and that's if she left immediately. Even a private jet would take over 12 hours. The fact that she just teleported from one country to the other, found the exact car on the freeway, even with GPS, and got into it to fight was completely implausible and insults my intelligence. Then they teased Punchline and she wasn't even in the issue. She was just mentioned a dozen times. At least give her the last splashpage.

This issue could have been good. I have no idea what Howard was thinking when she pitched this storyline. We've seen Catwoman go to jail already, it's a tired plot. The only thing she seems to be good at writing is the dialogue between Bruce and Selena. I'm also confused about why the artist draws her ears up and then down like they are on some mechanical trigger based on her emotions. It's stupid and weird. Batman showing up, in the beginning, was great, and then it was downhill. Why did Valmont release Amygdala just to kill him? Don't know. It made no sense. Unless Selena opens someone's jugular, it is impossible for her to kill someone. Her claws will not go deep enough to kill someone. I just didn't like where this story went.

There's a lot wrong with this issue. Either Tini didn't care about how the prison system works, or just didn't care. It looks like she just wanted to write her own episode of Orange is the New Black. The cat sending her stuff through vents and her leaping 6-foot into the ceiling that wouldn't hold her weight as well as pushing stuff through the toilet. None of it would have worked. I'm miss Ram V on this title and I'm hoping we get a new writer soon.

I'm not sure if Tini knows where's she going with this storyline. We have a new Catwoman and sidekick, but they engage in no action whatsoever. Meanwhile, Selina's cat brings her messages only to solitary and within a few days she has an entire following in prison, who do things for her and they act like it's a party. A large group like that would immediately be broken up. I don't even remember her getting sentenced by a jury. Was there a trial? The whole prison thing is not going to work. The cover is nice though.

I'm sure how this book is still going or why I'm still buying it. The dialogue is horrible. At this point it would be a better book if Selena left the title completely until she left prison. I prefer reading the parts about Eiko and Tomcat. Tini has no knowledge of prison life and apparently refuses to do any research. Selena somehow knows exactly where the plug is behind the wall. Tini openly writes that one of the characters forgets she has superpowers and that it "happens a lot." WTF. I can't believe she actually wrote that. The dentist also should have a full file on the patient and doesn't realize she has superpowers either. And where's the damn guard? The inmates are literally running the prison. This is so garbage. She should not be writing something she knows nothing about. This issue is complete trash.

This just keeps getting worse and worse. The whole prison thing makes no sense at all. Tini didn't think this through. First of all, she's helping criminals escape prison, which is wrong. Once she escapes, it would be Batman's duty to capture her and bring her back along with the other escapees. Plus, the Royal Flush gang just got arrested, they would be brought to jail, not prison. They would have to go through trial before going to prison, which could take months. This whole thing is screwed and I think I'm going to drop it until they bring on a new writer. They should have kept Ram V, since he's not good with Detective, but he was good with Catwoman. However, nowadays if you're not a woman you supposedly can't write female characters. What a crock.

after the horribly written events of Catwoman meets Orange is the New Black, Selena is somehow now out of prison and not getting hunted as an escaped convict. Eiko after risking her life as Catwoman has Selena tell her that she can't be Catwoman anymore. She teaches Tomcat how to fight...sort of. This is just another bad issue. I may be dropping it.

What is even going on here? There's an all-out war in Gotham and Batman doesn't even show up? In one panel she says no killing and in the next, she sends Tomcat out to a knife fight. Also, on page 2, the colorist forgot to color her gloves. The line is there, but no glove. Then they stole the entire look of Marquis from Arcane. An RPG lands in an apartment and doesn't detonate until later> That's not how RPGs work. Overuse of the cat understanding English. I'm sure everyone is glad that Knight Terrors is breaking this up. Tini's run should end here.

At least this issue wasn't awful. I am still disliking this entire Gotham War storyline and once again they say that Batman is unhinged because he disagrees with them. It's been a long time since I've seen the GI Joe animated movie, but I like my GI Joe more grounded without alien species and magic. This issue goes a bit toward the slasher genre as we get Cobra Commander come up against the Dreadnocks. They like to torture people, and they're good at it. I like a great deal about this issue, just like Duke, Williamson doesn't shy away from the violence. It looked like the helmet was coming off with the torch, but they didn't continue with it. Buzzer was extremely easily manipulated, which made me roll my eyes. I loved Ripper drawing the face on the Commander's helmet -- the smile added something to the issue. The art continues to be amazing and a throwback to the 70s and 80s. However, with this being the end of the arc, it doesn't stick the landing. Conan meets a God, who talks him into continuing to fight. They get out of the sanctum, but Brissa is not seen in the entire issue and we find out that she was killed off-screen trying to help Conan. It appears that the entire last issue was meant to get Conan to this plane of existence where he could interact with Kull. I'm not sure of this take of the Hand having powers. Nor do I like Matt with a beard. I assume he's no longer a lawyer, but the scruffy look wouldn't do well in court. I've always liked the dynamic between Daredevil and Elektra. I was glad to hear that they got married. One of the few marriages the editors of the big two let go through. I thought Stick had died, but I guess he's back. I like the battle with US Agent and we'll see what happens when the Avengers get involved.

Though there was a lot of action here, it's all over the place. DD and Punisher were once street-level characters, now there's undead warriors, dragons, and supernatural powers. It was just established in Punisher that he can kill people with a thought and he lost to a wounded DD in seconds. On the positive side, the art was great.

I'm not a big fan of the beard on Matt, but the somber tone is told well through the art. Both Daredevil and the Punisher end in exactly the same way. I like the assault on the temple was good, but I'm looking forward to the Punisher and Daredevil going back to street level heroes without the supernatural element.

This was an interesting issue. The way Matt talks about Spider-Man and their fight felt like a chess match. Though if Elektra got hit in the back of the head with a thrown shield, it would have split her head open. She would have been bleeding all over the place. So, I thought that was a bit cringe. It was action-packed and smart, but it feels like this arc is over. Matt had to leave Elektra to get arrested and he's back to being on his own.

This was an interesting issue. He gives himself up, only to spring a trap on them that gets pretty disgusting. I have no idea why there is a backup story here. I have no desire to read about an iron fist that is not Danny Rand. A waste of my time and money.

Chip loves to cut off limbs. Batman and now Daredevil. I don't think adding a supernatural element works for Daredevil. A street-level character going to hell and interacting with what are essentially ghosts doesn't really work for me. Let's see how this wraps up.

This ending sucked. An oversized issue for no reason except a cash grab. There was no story here at all. Everyone misses Matt. No one has heard from him in Six months. Elektra has taken over the mantle, but somehow Matt has returned with no memory, no scars, all of his limbs, and has gone through all of the training to become a priest. What the hell? The art is really good in this book, but in a nutshell -- it's just too supernatural to feel like Daredevil. Daredevil is a street-level character and now he's doing exorcisms? Not buying it. The series finally came back after a weird hiatus. I liked it for the most part. It was good to see Harley and Ivey and Ollie and Black Canary. For the most part, everything worked, Constantine's hot temper and Ivy as the forest witch. Joker as Green Lantern is pushing it as is Lara acting completely out of character. Let's see where it goes.

I agree with everyone that the plot twist was telegraphed a mile away. I still like the book overall, but I wish Taylor had stayed with the present cast of characters and not added the Martians in act 3. It feels completely out of place and out of left field. Even though the white martian was able to kill one of the leaders, it really accomplished nothing except to have everyone team up against the invaders. We will see where Taylor takes this, but I'm less excited now than before this issue. I did enjoy the Green Arrow/Black Canary stuff.

I'm still liking this book, though more than some other people. It has lost its edge, that's for sure. There were some touching moments with Diana, J'onn. and the story of the white Martians. I think this is where I have the biggest problem. I know they have Kryptonians in it, but it still felt semi-grounded in the Fantasy setting. Now that we've added "Green Men" it feels less like Fantasy than it did at the start.

This is a somewhat forgettable issue. Bringing in the Martians was, in my opinion, a bad idea. They had a good thing going with the Game of Thrones-type intrigue and then threw it off the rails by bringing in non-human-looking aliens. Waller outs herself as a traitor and the white Martians build kryptonite weapons. Looking forward to this wrapping up.

Pretty unsatisfying ending. Truthfully, they lost me when they brought in the martians. I wanted something a bit more grounded. We already had people with powers, bringing in aliens twisted the story over the edge for me. I could tell that Taylor just wanted to wrap it up quick since he had taken so long to end the series. A lot of loose ends and Waller's ending made no sense at all.

This was not a bad comic by any means. I enjoyed the stories, but this question is why does this comic exist? Did I really need to know any of this backstory? They haven't released a new issue of the regular run for months; instead, they put this out. It's just confusing and frustrating.

This is a fun look at the character. He remains being a dick even when he's trying to be a loving Dad. The costume looks good and they make fun of the orange. And I love Green Arrow showing up at the end.

I really liked them adding Green Arrow into this issue. The first square-off between the two characters and even though Slade gets in some good shots, Ollie is the one who is victorious and this is mostly due to Slade's ego. Not letting Wintergreen take the shot. Pretty action-packed issue.

I know people are over year ones. But I'm still liking this. Deathstroke comes back from the dead and meets up with Wintergreen, who tells him to call his damn wife. He finally does and the situation is straining both her and his son. It shows that he's not really a good dad. Refusing to fail, he goes back after the target.

This was a fun little action issue with plenty of assassination and not much plot. Slade runs into other assassins and makes a mess. Nothing too memorable.

I know everyone is tired of Year One stories, but I liked this throwback to Slade. His being a father to create his "Cover Story?" I'm not sure about that one. I think he genuinely loved his kids, he just didn't know how to show it. I'm not sure what it is about writers hating their fathers recently. Jason Aaron is doing the same thing with the Punisher. Characters that don't love their families are not interesting because there's no reason to like them. A serial killer who comes in and kisses and laughed with his kids is interesting. But a guy who comes home and says, "you're necessary" is just a dick.

I would have ranked this higher, but I have no idea what this is about. I like the Talia entrance and his conversation with Dick. But other than that it was introductions all the way around with no motivations. I love Ram V's work on Catwoman, but why do I need a shitty Gordon story so they can add a $1.00 to the cover price? They have been doing this for years now, and I'm pretty much over it. I think Ram V is really talented. The only thing that might make me not stick with it is the price. And I stay away from Mariko Tamaki like the plague, so I'm glad they got someone good on the title.

I still have no idea what this arc is even about or where it's going. I like Two-face as a character, but he's not acting like Two-face. I'm not really sure what timeline this takes place in. I really liked Ram V's Catwoman run, but I don't know how long I'll keep going with one unless there's a big reveal soon. Especially at $4.99 with a crappy Gordon story that I don't need.

I'm still not sure where this is going. The royal family from the beginning comes to Gotham and Bruce has a tussle with Talia, who is trying to keep him away from the docks. What happened to that Two-Face setup? I do like Talia, but I don't think this is enough to keep me buying a $5.00 book.

I loved Ram V's Catwoman, but I'm not sure I'm liking this. It feels so convoluted. So, slow in getting to the point that I'm losing interest. Perhaps if this was a trade it would be better. I'm pretty close to removing this from my pull list if it doesn't get a little more focused.

The cover of this issue is great, but the interior art - not so much. The beginning is weak, especially coming off the Clea run. Helping street-level heroes with supernatural villains who wouldn't normally fight those types of villains felt like a stretch. We don't get into the main story until halfway through. THen we jump into a backup W.A.N.D. story. I hope it gets better. I thought the Clea story was far better written.

This issue could have been so much better. We had this mystery of Nightmare being skewered, and how it linked to the little girl. But in the end, none of it mattered and I guess they left him there, which is really mean. Instead, Jed turned the story into fighting a Kiju for no reason, and then it ended abruptly. What a waste of a good set up.

This is obviously a filler issue. It doesn't drive the previous story forward at all. The banter between Strange and Dormamu is interesting. I don't think it was set up well enough that Dormamu visits him every year. That would be the only plausible explanation for Jean Grey just to be hanging out where they would be walking. I'm not sure why Dr. Strange has a back up story. Does it sell well enough to warrant one. And for Dormamu to be deafeat twice in a single issue was weird. I hope it heats up soon or I'm going to drop it. Especially at $4.99

What the hell is this? A Doc Strange comic with no Doc Strange? Why? Did we really need a WAND filler issue? What real information was generated in this issue that we couldn't have gotten in two pages? This is garbage and unfortunately, I'm dropping this title. This is sad because I really enjoyed the Clea Strange run, but this doesn't have any of that gravitas.

I already dropped this title, but decided to pick this issue up because of Clea's mom. I'm a fan of her fiestiness. The banter was really good. This was the best issue in the run thus far. However, the reveal at the end completely let me down. So, I won't be adding this back into my draw list.

I'm not liking this entire run. I had such hope since Jed McKay is writing Moon Knight and Avengers, though I'm about to drop Avengers too. The whole idea of a General Strange is just not good and doesn't make for a good story much less an entire issue filled with one big fight scene. I wasn't a fan of the art either. This cover was a complete gaslight. The story is an old, tired trope of a D&D portal where people go into the game. The D&D cartoon was done in the 70s and there's been dozens of renditions since, including Jumanji. This is just lazy writing. The art is cartoony and the D&D costume design was uninspired. What brings this down for me is the art. I'm not a fan. After reading and dropping Larry Hama's GI Joe due to major disappointment, I was cautious in picking up Duke. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised. I love this setup with Duke being on the run attempting to find the Decepticons (I think it was Starscream in the beginning). This is really a great series. Joshua Williamson doesn't shy away from the violence. Though I wish the connection with the Transformers would finally emerge. With only one issue left, I doubt that is going to happen. If they hadn't made that the driving force of Duke's motivation, I would have been fine leaving it out, but it doesn't seem as if Duke's arc is going to be even partially satisfied in this series. I was a fan of the original animated series, but this just isn't it. I would have liked them to push it a little further since, at this price point, it's not about bringing children in, but about nostalgia. The artwork is plainly horrible. Drizzt and Bobby get tossed off a cliff in one panel and pop back onto the cliff in the next. There's no set up to where Shiela is, she just appears in a floating pirate ship. The Reckoning War storyline never really piqued my interest and Johnny's condition has lasted far too long. Changing Sky into a bird creature was strange and never sat right with me. This was just a clean up issue and my favorite part is how the kids were happy to see Ben return. Of all the things that came out of Dan Slott's run it was the two of them. I'm glad they finally got rid of Reed's beard. Nick Fury hooked up with the Watcher feels completely wrong and Johnny saying "I'd rather be anywhere but with them," seems completely of character. He would probably still leave, but I don't think he'd be mean about it. Snarky yes, mean no. I hope the next storyline is better.

I would have rated this higher if not for Slott throwing in the half-sister with a terrible attitude. There's so many problems with this character that they are too numerous to list. She verbally attacks Reed the first time they meet, she attacks the children to the point where Franklin even says "give me a break." That tells me that Slott knew his character was too much and did it anyway. He wanted her to be unlikeable. In addition, her skin color is too dark to be a child of a mixed-coupling. She would be a malotto. Then there's the problem with the moon. If the moon is taken away, it would have destroyed the earth, due to the gravitational anomaly it would have caused. It wouldn't have simply changed the tide. Awful writing due to lack of research. What's good about the issue and Slott's run is the introduction of the children. I really like them and the new dynamic they give Ben and Alicia. It really works. I liked closing up the soulmate thing with Johnny and returning his powers to normal. If Slott had removed the sister it wouldn't have changed the story in the least. Reed doesn't hate his father. He came to terms with that years ago when he returned and mentored Valeria. Slott just threw in some stuff for himself. Everyone has me worried about this North guy that's coming in. I'd hate to drop the title again.

I wasn't sure about another interim writer jumping in, but Pepose did a good job. Sue rarely gets the spotlight and I feel that he has a good handle on her. The tie-in is loose, but that was better for me since I'm not liking AXE at all. Reed is trying to figure out how to handle the celestial and locks himself in the think tank. His muse is Sue and he thinks of her and the rest of the FF in an attempt to discover the celestial's motivations. Meanwhile, Midas infiltrates the Baxter building on the eve of Earth's destruction. The story had a few holes, which I chose to overlook. Like how did weapons get through security as well as the automatons? Not just one weapon, but a dozen. Background check on the "New Accountant"? I was even thinking, "No infrared goggles going up against Sue?" But he took care of that and I loved how she blocked the weapon from firing and shield herself. The scene in the elevator was good. But "Eduardo" for the janitor? Really? I don't like how the villain looks like a dominatrix, but I like the narrative and the action. Refreshing after the last issue.

I get a sense that Pepose really gets these characters and their relationships. Some of this issue is a little pressed. Like the ending, of course. The villain just goes into the fetal position, though I do like Sue using her brain to defeat the villain and then there is the stupid thumbs up at the end, but as everyone who knows realizes - I dislike AXE with a passion. I think the whole idea is stupid. I wish Prepose was continuing to write the title. He probably has some good stories in him for Marvel's first family. I am not hearing good things about North.

This was a mixed bag for me. I think the story had a bunch of holes and even them coming across the town was completely convenient. In sixty years no one else ever came across this town except for Thing and Alicia. That doesn't make any sense. They should have come across other people from different times that have been caught in the loop, that would have been more interesting. Instead, we get a rehash of Groundhog Day, that's been done to death. The saving grace is that we get to see Thing and Alicia by themselves, which we rarely do. This has got be the cutest version of Alicia I've ever read, so there's that.

This was a good idea but was executed badly. I love the idea of Doom having a connection to this woman and wanting her to be happy. In the vein of WandaVision, he annexed an entire town, though he hadn't known that would happen at the time. However, if he was close to her, he never bothered to check on her? He didn't even know she died? The armor that annexed her didn't send a signal or a report back to him? I find that hard to believe. Also, Reed reprogrammed hundreds of them in a single night? What? Is he Santa Claus now? I think there was another way to tell this story and it land well as opposed to how it is now. One more rewrite would have done it.

Not a big fan of this one. It seems very mundane and is wrapped up way too easily. I still don't understand why Alicia and Ben are missing? The last we saw of them, they were on vacation. Now, suddenly they are missing? Who's watching the kids? This has become a mess. The covers are nice though. At least there's something. I'm definitely not excited about what comes next. I'm pretty close to dropping it and coming back later when things heat up a bit.

I'm not buying any of this story. Reed was able to send eight hands into the Baxter Bldg to create and program the device without seeing what he was doing -- yet he couldn't have pulled the kids through the window? It just doesn't make any sense. It seems completely contrived just so the plot of the kids not being around could happen. Why is that important in a Fantastic Four book? They are about family, but they are also about exploration and maintaining the safety of our planet. Now, everyone hates them. Another deconstruction story for no reason whatsoever. Kind of disappointing.

I don't think the writer really understands these characters. I'd prefer to have the writer back that did the home invasion issues prior to North coming on. They started this very stupid plot in the last issue where they lost the kids. There was no reason for it, by the way, they could have easily snatched them up before the event. Now the dynamics are completely off and Johnny still has his porn mustache for no reason. Everyone hates the FF and everyone has simply forgotten about the kids because they all want lunch. It's just bad in my opinion and I'm officially dropping the books, so this will be my last review of the FF for a while.

Well, we've established in this issue that Joanne is not a comic book writer. She's a slice-of-life writer who has a very specific feminine agenda. From the opening dialogue from Fire, I knew this was not a book for me. I loved Fire in Checkmate, but this is not that character. This issue wasn't good as the last issue, but art is still great and the characterization is also good. I feel like this is more of a filler/setup issue, however. We continue where the last issue left off with Dark Wolf fighting the giant. Not sure if it was a mistake to let him live. I like Thomas realizing he's not a good Batman and his conversation with Dent was good, but he never did figure out who broke into Arkham and it took the guards a very long time to show up.

Why does everyone try to punch Superman when they know they are going to break something by doing so? That was kind of stupid to me. And how many times is Batman going to be saved by going to Eden? We've seen this twice now. The first time Harley brought him there in the Batman storyline. Other than that, the issue was good. I liked Superman coming to him for help and the investigation of Reverse Flash's body. Poison Ivy's face is drawn amazingly in this issue. The relationship between Cobblepot and the boy is great as well. Dent's wife becoming Two-Face is interesting as well.

I liked the second half of this—the reveal of the Joker and Dent's son's conversation with the female Two-face. However, the idea that this little boy with no training can beat up two adult guards is ludicrous and took me entirely out of the story. The last page confused the hell out of me.

This issue took a turn for the worst. It starts with a very strange interview that's confrontational and nonsensical. The woman declares that she's the smartest woman in the world and why is the time bureau even a thing here? Woman-splaning the omniverse or whatever. It felt like a big lecture or training seminar. Not a fan of this whole scene. Then the Martha-Joker knows all about time travel and met the other Joker, who they threw a name onto. Oswald begs Batman to help the kid and he's so sure that the timeline is going to be rebooted that he refuses. It was all just weird and I wasn't a fan of this issue at all.

This one didn't really stick the landing. I was really looking to see more happen within this Bizarro world and all we really got was a self-contained story of Thomas Wayne not giving a crap about anything because "nothing matters." Where was Atlantis and the Amazons in all this? It was all just a creation of a new Robin and a Joker/Batman relationship. Kind of disappointing.

I was hearing how good this book was from people, but after reading the horrible dialogue, and the over-sexualized scenes for no reason, I don't think this title is for me. The art is decent. So, it has that going for it. The part with the baby was interesting, but that was about it.

I was so looking forward to this. I am a big GI Joe fan and I found this so disappointing. I have not read the IDW run and to see so many characters connected to Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow being a Joe? What is going on? I must be reading a completely different book than everyone else. These two issues have been complete garbage, in my opinion. This doesn't even feel like a GI Joe story. It has some GI Joe characters in it, but that's about it. We have flesh-eating zombies, a Cobra Commander who is having a meeting with grieving families, and 4 pages of a funeral for a character I didn't even know. Snake Eyes having a relationship with Scarlet? What is even going on? They should have rebooted it and not tried to continue this seemingly awful continuity that makes no sense whatsoever. I liked how this issue started with Blaze being set up for death by Zarathos, so he would be free to find a new host. I'm not sure why he's driving Ketch's bike though. The second story of the overworked mom was good too, but then it falls off the rails and becomes just a smattering of scenes until the reveal at the end. What bumps this up for me is the Stan Lee/Kirby issue in the last half of this issue. The first half is a throwaway. I can't believe they kept Johnny's stupid mustache from the North run. Reed and Stingray just happen to bump into an ancient door and ignorantly open it, which is not in Reed's character. I must have missed a lot. I have no idea why Namor is in prison or even how they hold him. Atlantis was destroyed? That was news to me as well. I much preferred the second story. I liked a lot about this issue and it's a good start to the series. I know many people just wanted to see Ollie and not the GA Family, but I didn't have a problem with that. I like the part with Chesire. It was heartfelt, especially in the art. However, then we go to the multi-verse. I'm really tired of the whole multi-verse thing already. Can any stories actually take place in the proper timeline? I hope this portion of the story ends quickly.

I'm still not enthralled by Ollie being in an alternate universe and fighting aliens. He's a street-level hero and it seems completely out of place for him to act like Green Lantern. Now there's a female Peacemaker? I guess we'll see what happens from here.

I love the stuff with Arsenal and Black Canary vs. Peacemaker and lady Peacemaker. I'm still not sold on the whole multi-versal stuff regarding Ollie. I'm not sure it works for a street-level hero. I'm also not sold on the plot, that they can't be together because he does something bad. The Parallax reveal at the end was interesting.

I like a lot about this issue, namely the fist fight and Paralax outing himself. The mystery of the future is interesting, but Green Arrow is a street-level character, but here he is a time-dimensional-space traveler and it just doesn't fit his character. I haven't been a fan of this book since it started. I just don't think Williamson gets Green Arrow. He's a street-level crime fighter. He started it with him hiding in a multi-verse. Now he's chasing Arsenal. Waller and Peacemaker simply walked into the Hall of Justice without a court order and started stealing things. WTF. Plus Batman hasn't implemented any security measures? I thought this was going to end at issue 12, but apparently, it is going to continue. I have not been happy with this series and even dropped it and picked it back up. This has been the best issue thus far, in my opinion. It felt more like a Green Arrow book than any of the others. Williamson should treat this like a GI Joe book, which is where seems to shine. Green Arrow is a street-level character. Leave the whole multi-verse supernatural stuff to other heroes. I love Jeremy. He's a great person and we're friends, but this is a bit slow. I realize the story is getting interrupted by this Knight Terror event and he's probably holding off on really getting anything going until the event concludes, but it's pretty apparent that this is just filler. He conjures himself a ring with "Pure willpower" as is stated twice in this issue, and then gets several promotions in a day to be Carol's personal co-pilot and, in essence, stalk her. Kinda creepy. The backup story made no sense whatsoever and I wish they would drop that completely. Still waiting for an actual story.

I loved all of the scenes with Sinestro in this book as well as Carol calling a meeting with Hal to reveal it to him. However, all of the scenes with Hal seemed a bit off. The ring suddenly working after him plummeting, the ring creating constructs of different colors and then the construct not even having a color, it was a shield around the animal that he made appear to grow? What? And then the weird baseball game that was out of the blue? I could have lost all of these scenes and not have missed any of them. The scenes with Sinestro were the most interesting. It was fun and lighthearted, but it lacked any kind of depth of storytelling. I wanted to see more about Sinestro's plans. Instead, we just get Barry running around the city finding bombs and Hal destroying them. I've seen this several times before in different iterations. I think he needs to delve into how rings work in his universe because it's outside the norm of what we are all used to. I like how he describes Sinestro as cold and calculating. He knows the character and also knows the rage portion of the story is out of character for Sinestro. I miss the times of the rings finding people that were worthy. I would have liked it better if a red ring found Sinestro and said, "Sinestro of Koregar - you have great rage," rather than his ring suddenly turning into a red ring. I also miss rings having to get powered. All of those elements have just gone out the window. This felt more like an issue of Green Lantern than any of the others. I'm friends with Jeremy and I love to support his work, but Hal having all of the powers of every spectrum and producing Kilowag as a living, breathing entity rather than a green construct is weird to me. I liked a lot about this issue and it seems to be getting better. Aside from the mystery of the United Planets ringslingers being able to change colors at will, my biggest complaint with this portion of the story was the guy that Hal finds in the hole. Has the guy just been waiting down there for months or years for a GL to show up? If so, that's extremely far-fetched beyond a guy with a green ring. Then, when he finishes with Hal, he just walks off. Hal doesn't have to fly him out or anything which means he could have left at any time. I'm not a big fan of the Sector GL, Jo. Jeremy is a great talent and overall this issue has a great feel, but it has some holes. Suddenly wearing cloaks was weird, but when it comes to the GL uniforms, those come from the power of the rings. If he loses his ring, he loses his uniform. It's happened many times before. Yet here, they openly say they can track ring ussage and yet they have thri uniforms and probably their live support bubbles as well. Otherwise I like theHall jumpinginto the fray. Joanna and Brook go to Dahlia to get new faces and identities, but things go awry quickly. I enjoyed the issue for the most part though not much happens. I was confused when Dahlia was wearing the red wig and escaped the guy on the motorcycle. I didn't realize that she and Cesar were pretending to be Joanna and Brook. Other than that, I followed it pretty well. Let's see what happens next.

This is obviously a femme fatale exploitation book. It's the first time I'm reading it. I wish they'd lay off the sex just a bit. But overall I'm enjoying it. The main character is fun and the fact that the villain is a woman too will allow the book to not rely on the sex appeal of the main character. I like how some of the characters tell her to tone it down.

This was a fun issue. A little bit of a backstory on the villain and some good action. I like how she says that she won't be able to pull a gun out of thin air and the guy shows up. I like the splash page of the plane as well. Not sure how they can wrap this up in one issue.

Two naked women fighting through the entire issue, what's not to like? The ending is a bit abrupt, but I guess their mandate was to get it done in 4 issues. Looking forward to the next installment.

I wasn't a fan of the art style or the androgynous pink-hair (male?) character with the glasses, but I do enjoy horror stories with good villains. I wish the art style was a little darker and more contrasty. I also didn't buy the twist at the end, since non would have predicted that they would get a flat tire at that exact moment, and then just the two of them start walking in that direction. So, the story is a series conveniences. Let's hope it gets better as it continues.

I know Inclusion is really popular right now, but in a written medium, sometimes that can be really confusing as DEI continues attempts to change the English language. It took me two pages of confusion when they were talking about the person (girl) who was walking from the car, and was killed by the Harrower in the previous issue, to realize they were talking about a single person. They were using "They" and I kept wondering who the other person was. Two pages later, I realized she was non-binary. Give me a break, this should not have been in here, I almost put the issue down without completing it because I was so frustrated. Then I realized that she was dead, and hoped this confusion would not occur again - hopefully. The rest of the issue was a series of horror tropes. I enjoyed it from there even though the art is really aweful. They don't even attempt good coloring with swashes of color than precise shading. Antomy is all over the place as well. I'll keep reading for a couple of more issues to see where it goes.

There are some distracting elements for me, first and foremost is the art. I'm not what the decision-making process was around hiring this particular artist and adopting this art style, but it doesn't work for me. This unfinished sketchy style just pulls me out of the story. I was looking forward to a supernatural killer and after the reveal at the end, I don't think that's what we're getting. There is some good action in here, but I would prefer more blacks in the inks and a darker tone. My two cents.

I don't understand how they eat with their mouths sewn shut. The twist was okay. It also didn't explain how he was able to get up after being shot several times. They didn't explain how the cult started. So, it was a fine last issue, but not great. Could have been better.

THis is mid-teir for me at this point. We got a pure set up in the first issue that was a mix between Jurrasic Park and Amityville Horror and we don't get much more in this issue. It feels like a very slow burn. Let's speed things up a bit. Let's get some interesting hitory of the house. What evil lurks within. Are they stuck there? etc.

I had high-hopes for this. I love Hawkgirl, especially from the animated series. Well, this ain't her. I had never heard of Jadzia A. before, but apparently she's an activist. I'm so tired of activists injecting their identity politics into comics where they don't belong. You want to write a slice-of-life book, that's fine, but don't make a superhero comic into a slice-of-life book it's just going to turn readers like me off. When you have two or three self-proclaimed lesbians in less than 20 pages, then you have a problem. This book is completely meaningless and what's with Kendra's hair? Where is the long red hair? Whatever. I'm out and I'm staying away from anything that has Jadzia's name on it.

I didn't think about the Kill Bill similarity, but I like the Greek Mythology part. I think it will get better as it goes. I'm along for the ride for now. I did like that it was 48 pages for $5.00.

I missed the first issue, so I'm just jumping into this. I like Greek mythology, so I decided to pick it up. I was confused by the beginning, but then the book told me the plot. Not sure why everyone is after Artemis, but I can get on board with it. I don't like the design of Athena. At least give her long hair, instead of poof in the middle of her forehead. I also wish her costume had more of Greek feel. The action was good and the final page was awesome. Let's see where the next one takes us.

I continue to enjoy this story, but I had a couple of gripes with this one. I love the owl, but Artemis had to be saved by a cat. Then she turns around with huge gashes and defeats Athena without incident, but completely off screen. What I mean by this that literally have black frames with sound effects instead of choreographing the fight. I find this extremely lazy. I like the reveal at the end and I like the look of Apollo.

I really enjoyed this series, but I am a big fan of Greek Mythology. I wasn't too happy with the ending and I'm not sure if they are going to return to this universe to tell us what happens next, so for all we know Artemis is trapped in Hades. Everyone told me how good this was, so I picked up. All I felt was disappointment from the opening page. This story takes place 10 years after the original Sins of Sinister? What?!! Ten years ages a person quite a bit and Emma looks exactly the same. They lost me right there. If she was 35, now she would be practically middle-aged and still wearing the same skimpy costume. Then she grew her arm back. How? Don't know. But not only did she grow her arm back, but her glove as well. That's some amazingly smart outerwear. Who was the editor on this? This was an excellent idea for a story, but went quickly into a dumpster and is extremely flammable.

I can see this going either way. Some people loving it and others hating. It has a very horror feel to it, but it is different. I don't like the way the Hulk is drawn with such a small head, but overall I think it's a decent start. I'll keep it in my pull list for now. I'm interested in the teenager as well.

I liked the action in this book and Hulk vs. Cthulu, who wouldn't want that? I also like the young girl. Her face being burned just adds to her character. The only critique I have is Hulk's size, I don't like when they make him 20 feet tall. His pants would never stay on. This has been a continually good series, taking Hulk in a completely different direction and it really works. Bringing back the Bruce Banner that's more of a recluse and a drifter. Also, adding in Charlie works. The horrific transformations is something we've never seen out of the character. I don't know how many Ghost Riders there are. There seems to be an army of them now. I like the idea of a WWII Ghost Rider and these two are going to have to team up. Most attacks without provication between superheroes seem forced, but it works in this issue. This issue was very disappointing. It starts out well enough with the horror element. The monster is cool and Charlie feels to be in danger. However, when we move to the Hulk part, it falls apart. Since when can Hulk see ghosts? It doesn't feel like a Hulk story when he starts being led around by the dead detective, who tells his story instead of us dealing with the monster. This book is just plain bad. Garth Ennis really dropped the ball here in my opinion. The story has completely run off the rails at this point. He has Bond going into space without a lick of astronaut training and somehow got through every bit of security. No one at NASA noticed an extra astronaut on the shuttle? Come on? Then he space walks for no reason. The air is pulled out of the room he's in and kills the other person, but not him. He simply opens the door. Wouldn't the killer have locked it? Also, he somehow sneaks a snake into a suit and the wearer never realizes when they put it on? Not to mention Moneypenny blowing up her own apartment. She won't be getting that deposit back. I was confused by the beginning of this. I have no idea where Thor is, why was he there, or who the villain was. Then he throws away his only weapon for Jane. I hope they clear this up, but it had me scratching my head. No setup. Once Jane gets the hammer and is searching for him, it picked up. I also liked seeing Sif battling. It was a real shame to see what they did to her in the movie.

Jane has a battle with S'ym which is out of the blue, but pretty cool. I like that Odin is speaking to her telepathically. Runa takes an arrow to the back and completely blows it off and it's never referred to again. It's always good to see Sif and Warriors Three (though we only see one). I like the battle with the trolls. It was also good to see an appearance from Hildegarde. Though we see her very briefly and I thought she was dead. Then Thor finally shows up and is shot immediately. A very convoluted issue.

Did anything really happen in this issue? It seems that aside from some action, nothing really happened in the entire issue. The story didn't move. The dead Valkyries showed up and that's about it. With only one more issue left, you would have thought that more would be going on. This series was literally about nothing. Let's see if that changes by the final issue.

This story was so convoluted that was hard to follow. Thor is in a dreamworld, but they didn't have to do much besides walk through a portal to get back to the real world. There were no issues to get over, no story beats. What was the point? Then Ares openly says that if people die in the battle then he will get stronger. This was the perfect opportunity for Thor to say fine, then we won't kill anyone. Or then I challenge you, Ares. Instead, they charge in and start killing people. Only the magic arrow allows Thor to get in a shot. Then it's Jane who has to say that they should show mercy. Pretty disappointing writing.

I really like the setup for this story. Bringing in Legion of Doom was an awesome start. The art is really good and having them trapped on Skull Island with Godzilla in Metropolis is intriguing. There are a bunch of characters running around, but I think in the end, the Legion and the JL will have to combine forces to eliminate the threat. I'm really enjoying this series and writing it can be sticky as there are so many characters and you don't want to downplay the strength of the monsters. Cutting back to the villains is also important. There's so much going on that it can feel muddy. I enjoyed what he did with Jason's character and with Canary. What I didn't like was the design of the new monsters, especially the cliche of using a bat creature in Gotham. Though there was a lot to like about this issue, I did have problems with it. First of all, where the hell is Aquaman? We have all of this occurring near the sea and we have a crustacean monster and he's nowhere in the picture? Meanwhile, Supergirl is everywhere. Many readers I know were very disappointed with this issue and most are not continuing on with the series, including myself. We were expecting more of a throwback to the original characters like in Star Girl. Instead, we got the villains in Suicide Squad-type story with the Tom King's Batman and Catwoman elements thrown in. Not a good start.

It seems like a lot of people like this book. I wanted to check it out since I write a vampire comic myself. There's no real substance to this story, however. I guess it's hard to tell in a single issue since this book has now been going on for 2 years, but at this early stage, you have the one guy lose his grandmother, which means he's a newbie. The girl who trolls looking for bad people to bring back to the group to get eaten, the vampire that hunts other vampires in the morgue, and former President Adams who is the original vampire (this is weird to me. Why choose Adams of all historical people?) There are no motivations for any of them.

The basic story is very important as well as the elements that make up that story. I have a very hard time believing that Superman isn't scouring the universe looking for Kandor. Zod stole it and Superman said - "oh, well. I guess it's gone." I'm not buying it. It's also very difficult to make a villain an anti-hero. It didn't work for the Black Adam Movie, though it did work in the New 52 with Black Adam creating a family. I think that was due to the Isis character. Ursa doesn't have that kind of caring personality to ground Zod. In fact, she's even worse than Zod when it comes to parenting. It feels as if there is a scene missing. The son (whose look is awful. That hair kills me.) doesn't even have a full conversation with Ursa upon his leaving. "Okay, bye." So, the writing is lacking and I'm not sure I care if Zod creates his utopia. I love Mark Waid's writing and Mary Marvel, but this is just completely forgettable. She's not even questioning why she's in the dreamworld or how to get out. Billy as Black Adam is interesting, but unnecessary, just use the real Black Adam. I don't know, but I have no interest in the next issue.

This has been a continuous good book. It just doesn't come out as often as I would like. This was a turning in point in the story. With Forever openly defying an order and her clone escaping. This story is going to be on a new track.

I wasn't a fan of the art in this book, but I did enjoy Robin taking control. I also like the two teams doing their own missions. I'm confused by 2 things. Why Constantine isn't there and why they called Mary Marvel - Shazam. She's the new champion of Shazam, but why change her name? That's odd.

The whole Dark Web thing is a dumpster fire, but I always like seeing these two together. I'm not sure about giving Mary Jane powers. I would have preferred to have her go through training to be a fighter and maybe get some tech from Tony. Instead, they took a famous line of hers and turned it into mutant powers. Not sure I'm a fan of that.

This was another fun issue. I'm still not sold on Mary Jane having powers when they could have made a fighter with some help from tech from Tony, but here we are. The chemistry between the two characters really works. It was neat to see a villain show up from Jane Foster's books.

This felt more like a filler issue, which is weird considering it's a mini-series. The interaction between the characters is good, but the whole basis for this issue is the secret of Peter's and Felicia's relationship getting out. This seems very superfluous since they are literally in Hell with no way out. I do like the open talk of betrayal throughout, but it doesn't seem like anything happens. We're just waiting for something to happen. Again, I don't like Mary Jane's random power. I think they could have done something a bit more grounded for her. The next one should be better.

I like the two together, but I'm still not sold on MJ's powers and here she actually able to bring someone back from the dead. Where did Black Cat's grappling hook come from? They are about to die and they are arguing about something meaningless. I'm enjoying it despite the plot holes.

I like the twists. Not sure how her powers allowed her to split the sword and still have two full hilts, but I guess we're not supposed to ask those questions. I'm not following Spider-man, so the ending with her kids was surprising to me. Overall I liked the issue. I'd like MJ's powers to be more tech-based and less supernatural, so they can have more street-level adventure next. This arc seemed out of place because of the setting. It was more something you would see Constantine or Doctor Strange in.

I'm not familiar with Strange Academy or this different version of Ghost Rider. But the premise is interesting, yet familiar. The end of the world is coming. There's been a premonition and now we have to stop it. Welcome to season 2 of the Umbrella Academy. However, I am a fan of Wolverine, Blade, and Magik and to see these three team up - I'm in. Let's hope gets better from here and not worse.

This was a fun read. Seeing Doom take on an entire team by himself is awesome. We all know he's not one to give up and retreat, but when Clea shows up, that's exactly what he does. I'm a big Clea fan, so this works for me. We see a younger Agatha Harkness and we are still wondering why everyone wants this girl, but we know it has something to due with the demon young Harkness has summoned. Liking this dynamic.

Not sure what anyone liked about this issue. It's crap. Starting with the art. The art was horrible. We start with Harkness and then fight with trolls and then meet Dr. Strange Tony Stark. There was no need for this really. Him being a Stark was completely unnecessary. They said earlier on that the air was toxic, so Tony Strange builds them suits that reveal a bunch of skin. It makes no sense, except that now they have matching uniforms, which in reality was the only reason. It was hookey. I hope it gets better.

The action is good. I like Harkness' look in the beginning. But this issue has basically been one long fight scene with no real movement of the story. And... there's only one issue left. That means there wasn't much story to tell from the get-go.

The entire purpose of this series was to de-age Agatha Harkness. Otherwise, there wasn't much to it. The action seemed superficial. I like the twist that the prisoner stole the powers of the jailer. There was just no reason for the Suns to be part of the story. They were more there as window dressing and could have been eliminated from the story completely with the same end result.

I was so looking forward to this book and there's literally nothing here. A little recap. A selfie, some time with her family annnddd that's it. I hate when writers start a run and don't even set up a story. I can't tell you what this series is going to be about. There's no villain, there's no conflict, no nothing. I hope this course corrects in the next issue or I'm out.

I'm really sad that I'm feeling like canceling this book. This book is just really bad. It's all over the place. After 2 issues, there's no coherent story and we've already seen the Mr. Mxyplik (however you spell it), Batmite, Q, stories. It's all been done and far better. Oh, well.

Why the hell isn't there a Tigra solo book? I love this issue because I love Tigra. I know a lot of people didn't like it because Moon Knight was a secondary character. I love the relationship with her son and her going hunting. Not sure about the B-story. That seemed thrown in around the Tigra story. I wish Jed Mckay would just write a Tigra book. Female Skrulls can get male reproductive parts? Seems weird.

This was an interesting over-sized issue. Not sure about the $10 price tag, but we did get 70 pages. The change in art style didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I don't see how the military stuff tied in anywhere and the Black Specter storyline reminded me a lot of Batman's Knightfall, where Bane was throwing villains at Batman to soften him up. This was similar, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I do like the Hunter's Moon character and his banter with Marc, but this issue felt more like a Doctor Strange book. They enter the mind of Vibro and meet his normal persona to get info about Black Spectre. I like the Black Specter character, but this one just seemed out of place for me. I'm not too keen on how the artist drew Tigra in this issue. It was very anime. Being a Tigra fan, I don't like how McKay took her out of the battle. Hunter's Moon dives into a battle where no one uses the guns they are carrying and just when Moon Knight engages Black Spectre, the issue ends. I like the fact that he still has the knife stuck in his back, thought I'm not sure how he can fight with it in there. This is still the best title that Jed McKay is writing right now. Tigra has been stuck on a pressure plate for two issues - not loving that. Zodiac fighting the vampire - that's pretty cool. I'm giving this a higher mark than I should. There was some problems with this issue. The Plesko reveal was lost many people, including me. He's just an obscure character to be made into a supervillain, that Zodiac just offs anyway. Everyone was worried about Reese taking over as Moon Knight, but that didn't happen. She's only taking over the Mission. My other problem was leaving Moon Knight alive knowing that he was going to try to stop the countdown. I'm not sure where the explosives came from. Just like Daredevil, I don't feel that a street-level character, like Moon Knight, should have an entire series dedicated to going to Hell. I like the Scarlet Scarab character, but I don't buy her origin. It's very coincidental that she was chosen by a God as Marc was. There should have been a reason the Gods wanted them to fight alongside each other. That would have made more sense. Why would Hell allow the villains to take all of their weapons with them? That also makes no sense. The rules here are topsy-turvy.

I love Namor, but this is not him. This is a watered-down (no pun intended) version of him. Why do we have to do a what-if story to do a Namor story? Can't it be set in the regular universe? And where is Lady Dorma? There's just a lot of the Namor lore in this and an elseworlds story is not what I was looking for.

This is just not Namor. Namor is not a fan of the surface world and if that changed, we never saw it. Now, he might help some of the heroes if it suited Atlantis, but that would be his only motivation. Here he openly says that he wants to help. That is out of character. For Sue to say that she wanted to kiss him and she was fond of him because he wasn't Reed, is also out of character. Even if this was true, she would never say it, no matter the circumstances. It also says in the intro that the air on the surface is toxic, yet Luke Cage seems to be breathing fine throughout the entire issue. If the air is just fine above the water, then why not put them on a boat, an aircraft carrier, or something that size? Then there wouldn't be an oxygen issue under the water and apparently, Atlantis is feeding the humans, so they could just put supplies on the boat. This story has a lot of holes. I would have preferred something in continuity.

This issue starts out strong and then dies a quick death. I love the stuff with the Doombots, but then Frankenstein is introduced out of left-field. His being in Latveria makes no sense. Obviously, Cantwell is a fan of the original movie because even the little girl looks like she's out of time and from the original. Then Frankenstein admits he was wrong and they all talk about their feelings...? Come on, give me a break. After the first five pages this is a complete reversal of the Namor character. He just wouldn't act like this.

This issue was better since there were major events that happened, but it might be too little too late. I'm not even sure why this book exists. It's completely out of continuity. I did enjoy cap talking to the Atlantean girl and the deaths were a bit shocking, but there's no real consequences since this timeline doesn't really exist anywhere but here. One more issue.

Thank goodness this is over. This was not a good story. We had Attuma show up and fight Namor out of the blue and then Namorita exiles Namor because she doesn't want to deal with the humans anymore. All of this was out of left-field. There was no build-up to any of this. This series was just a mess.

I tried this because everyone said how great it was. At this point, I think it's okay. It is worth trying at $1.99. We will see if the story hooks me more as it goes on. I don't feel invested in the characters at all.

The characters are extremely tropey. You have the geek crushing on the hot girl. The best friend's crush on the main character, and the fat guy that the bully picks on. You don't get more generic than that. This is Mark Millar's version of Spider-Man. Their poses are the same, sticking to the walls, and leaping in exactly the same action style. Even their masks look like Spider-Man. Now that we had a villain enter the story, this looks like it might get better.

I feel we are being spoon-fed in very small doses. There's not a lot going on. We see one member stuck in a morgue and the others fight and get captured off-screen. So, he took the action off-screen in a comic? I find that strange.

The majority of this issue is a bunch of flashbacks where we learn about an ex-cop who is turned into a Vampire against his will. I think the whole reason for it was to show the villains and how depraved they are. The stakes are incredibly high and I'm wondering how they will be able to close this up in a single issue.

I like how this is set up. Nightwing pulling the strings while Blockbuster is trying to figure out who the mole is. I really thought he already knew, that's why he put the Mayor in the room with Lester. I think this would have been better. But the action was good. The stakes are high and we all know it's going to come down to a battle between the two.

I really enjoyed this issue. I think Taylor is doing a great job with this title. There was plenty of action and twists and turns. Batwoman showing up along with the Titans and a coordinated attack on Blockbuster. It was great. The end felt very Bane. Looking forward to the next one.

The all-out battle between Nightwing and Blockbuster. Dick is left with the problem of Blockbuster knowing his identity, wanting to protect his family, and his developing relationship with Babs. Good stuff. Babs was great in this issue, she stops the baddies from entering the building by revealing dirt on Blockbuster, and when Dick tells her that they can't be together, from which I rolled my eyes and said, "of course." She instead replied, "Screw that." It was a great turn that I was not expecting. It ended quite sweetly with a heterosexual couple, which we really don't see in comics anymore.

Another good issue. I love the playfulness between Babs and Dick. It starts with Maroni being cocky until he learns that Blockbuster is dead, then he turns state's evidence pretty quickly. The save by Nightwing was pretty cool and I love that Maroni heard them upstairs. I really hope they are not giving Dick a long-lost family member. That would suck.

It was a fun issue but seemed to deviate from the story with Blockbuster and the still-loose Heartless. It just seemed like a filler issue. I think Dick should go back to looking for Heartless and wrapping up that storyline.

This was interesting, but it felt out of place. A detour from the Heartless storyline. Tony Zucco returns for some reason and he wants to get his fortune back by stealing from a pirate locker room. He shoots a guy in the eye, who happens to be the only guard on duty for a room that holds priceless treasures. The guy, who was shot IN THE EYE, doesn't die. How? Don't know. The bullet would have gone through his eye and into his brain. Like I said, an interesting story, but a weird and out-of-place one.

The only redeeming quality of this book is the interaction Dick has with Bruce. Other than that, this book is a shit show. The only reason this seems to exist is because Tom Taylor wants to make a statement about the prison system. He mentions multiple times that prisons are filled with innocent people and the only reason for a prison is to make money. I love when writers make statements about things they don't understand. Did he not just hear the story about the charity Danny Glover is a part of? This is recent. The charity pays bail for people who can't afford them. They paid bail for a person that had been arrested, once he was out on the streets, he committed additional crimes, including beating a clerk so severely that he was put in the ICU. The charity is now being sued. Yet Tom Taylor wants to champion putting more of these people back on the street and he's doing it through Nightwing. Just appalling. And wanting to Dick to lead the Justice League is also out of left field. This book is garbage. Such a memorable 100th issue, thanks Tom.

I agree with some of the reviews. I wasn't happy at all with 100, but this one took a pleasant turn. I really enjoyed it. The cute scene in the beginning with the little girl, the mystery with the King's body, and the shapeshifter. Though I had to suspend belief that Nightwing would get hit over the head so easily. It was great to see Neron again. I don't think he's appeared anywhere for years. I'm not a fan of Jon Kent since he was aged up, but I even liked the backup story. Though I'm not sure why Nightwing needs to be bumped up to $5.00.

This has turned into a Titans book. I like the Titans, but that's not why I buy this series. And Nightwing fighting in the underworld removes the street-level hero side that makes him what he is. Once again Hearless is completely forgotten. Not sure why we have a backup story with this book, but although the art is good, it's completely unnecessary.

I have two questions, why is this Titans book when they have their own book coming out and why is a Nightwing book staged in Hell? Both make no sense. I'm actually considering dropping the book. The backup story is more interesting and there's no reason why a Nightwing book is $5.00. Not sure what Tom Taylor is even doing anymore. The Heartless story and the engagement have both disappeared into the ether. I think he needs to stay off the weed, so he can remember what he's set up in the past.

This run is quickly going downhill. Nightwing has superpowers for no reason whatsoever. Neron has no reason to believe that Nightwing will turn on the little girl. So, this entire issue is a colossal waste of time in regard to story. If he had superpowers for even a couple of hours, why didn't he look for Heartless? Did everyone forget that he was still on the loose? Not sure if I'm going to continue this since it's the same team that are in Titans.

I don't even know what's going on here anymore. Heartless hasn't been captured by Dick in about 20 issues. The guy is still killing people and Dick never even tries to track him down. Somehow he can take a sword through his entire body but he doesn't even bleed. I'm very confused. I'm not sure how long I can continue reading this. Not to mention that this takes place during Gotham War and there's murdering still going on right in front of Dick, yet he's fighting Batman. I'm not really keen on this storyline. I like the previous relationship with the pirate queen, but the storyline it comes from with Ric Grayson was not good. I have finally had enough of Tom Taylor on this title. After I finished reading the last issue with Bea getting stabbed through the stomach where the blade exited her back and then being tossed into the water after dropping about 40 stories, I swore to drop the title if she lived. Of course, she got the Sabine treatment from Ahsoka. Not only did she live, but she was right up the next day without even the need for a bandage. I did like the deconstruction of Heartless. A little bit of insight about a character we knew nothing about helps. Maybe we will finally get a resolution to that story now. The dog story was okay. It was different and then a training story. I don't usually buy Annuals, because they have turned into meaningless anthologies, but this one was better than most.

I know a lot of people liked this book, but to me there was just nothing to it. There was no meat, just a husk of a story. It seems like we are going down the zombie road, but I'm not sure. Frankly, I just don't care about the characters, so I won't be continuing with the book.

Though I'm not a fan of the art, the characters' setup and relationship are exemplary. This is coming from an award-winning screenwriter. I was very pleased with the pace and economical use of panels. I'm looking forward to where the story goes. I'm very interested in seeing where this story is going. I like that Ivy says she doesn't hate people, just that their very existence messes everything up. I like her meeting the other girl and their conversation about the mysterious tree rune. Then when the authorities came in they both thought they were the ones in trouble. I'm hoping this one can stick the landing, since most comics don't.

This is not an exciting book by any means, there's zero action in it and Poison Ivy doesn't use her powers in any fun way. But it does have heart. It's painting Pammy in a different light and has some issues. She misses Harley, she gets to work on a little garden, and she's having possible hallucinations. Then it gets weird at the end and she goes to get a job. Not sure what the ulterior motive is. I guess we will find out. If it's just to make money then that would be weird for a supervillain.

They are definitely making Poison Ivy out to be a villain. The girl from her work jumps into bed with her very quickly at the risk of losing her job. There was no verification that the boss was gone. And, of course, it being 2022 every boss is a sexual predator. This issue was only okay, nothing really happened except that we found out Ivy's plan.

This was another good issue. I like that she is hallucinating Batman. That is a very nice dynamic and plot device. The conflict with Woodrue has some high stakes. Overall, I'm enjoying it.

I agree with most of the reviews that this is the weakest of the issues so far. It's gross that she literally eats the villain and I still don't understand the "grow around the boulder" suggestion from Batman. Not sure how that factored in as well as the little girl handing her scarf. It was all strange and not explained well. I like that Harley is on the way, but how does she know where to go? Pretty weak storytelling with this one.

Poison Ivy fights more plant monsters after absorbing Woodrue and finds a new villain in way of a corporation only to get in over her head. I thought Harley was coming back. Let's face it, there is only so much you can do with Poison Ivy on her own, which is why this was supposed to be a mini-series. I think it's already dried up unless you can start pairing her with other characters. That's why she was brought into Birds of Prey. I'll keep reading until 12, but if they don't spice it up soon, I'll probably drop it.

I wasn't a fan of this issue. We were just introduced to a new villain and just like that, it's over. Ivy gets help from a woman who has a medical condition. Ivy not only brings her to the hospital but stays with her even though she is one of the most wanted women in the world. I'm not sure how is able to travel around without anyone recognizing her. At least that was answered with her getting the job, but being able to walk around a hospital? And one dose of a liquid changed her back, just like that. Ugh - horrible writing.

I'm not sure what the point of this issue was. Harley shows up, they have sex, go around town on a date and then Harley leaves. She tells her to come how when she's done. I'm not sure I buy this as Harley. Harley would have definitely stayed with her for a while and caused some mayhem and then declared she was bored, but it never got to that point. Kind of a waste of a good character.

This book has crashed and burned for me. It's not like it began in any way. Now we are on a retreat with a teenage girl? I don't think the writer has any idea where she is going with this story. It just meanders around. I have officially dropped it, which is unfortunate because I love the character, but she's a villain, not a babysitter.

As I said in my video review, there are two types of writers, ones that understand the character and write stories around that character, and the second type that wants to tell a story and mangles the character to fit into that story. Williams is the second type. This is not Power Girl. Punching portals like America Chavez in Doctor Strange 2? What is even going on. Auctioning off alien technology? This is just crap. The art in these issues are great. I liked that Ares thought of Punisher as a disciple and that this would come down to a battle between the two of them. I also like that priestess is finally gone. She was annoying the hell out of me. I like that she didn't understand him and that led to her demise. I don't like what Jason Aaron is doing with Maria. Her dialogue makes her sound like an idiot. I understand that she's disoriented, but her dialogue is likened to a 10-year-old. Come on, Jason. Once he kills the priestess, he's in a position to take it all and go after Ares, ending all war and violence (in concept), instead, he takes Maria and runs. That doesn't;t sound like the Punisher at all.

I wasn't really happy with this issue. More than half the issue was a flashback. I don't care about Frank Castle's childhood. The flashback has crappier art and again, I just don't care - it won't have any impact on the present storyline. I was shocked that the woman was a creature and that she could not be killed. Ares showing up was fun. I'm not sure why we have to have a flashback at all. Just tell the damn story.

This issue had a lot of ups and downs for me. I don't like how Aaron portrayed Frank in the flashback. He was pretty much a deadbeat and a dick, leaving his wife as he did. The battle between Ares and the Punisher was good, but they could have given him something instead of an absolute ass-whooping. Then, as simple as that, he was healed. There was no consequence to the battle. I'm looking forward to seeing Daredevil.

The basics here - this is not Frank Castle. That's the major problem leading up to and including this issue. He was a great father and great husband. To think otherwise is to dismantle the character. It would destroy everything if Maria and the kids were afraid of him. Then there is his new power set. He can fly?! WTF. I'm just about over this storyline. It has some good art and good fight scenes, but it's pushing the envelope too far. I think I'm going to jump off this ride.

This issue was far better than the last one. At least here you see him being a good father and working to be a good husband. Not sure about Maria with a gun, but whatever. I wish the artwork for both stories was closer, but one is really good and the other is really bad. I hope this is a mini-series because I don't see this rendition of the Punisher being more than a short term thing.

This was an exciting issue, I wasn't so keen on the narration. I can't imagine her leaving her kids at home to frequent bars. This is the mistake Aaron does over and over when the characters do something that doesn't match their personality. The action was good. I hope he goes back to a street-level character eventually. The supernatural side is fun for a while as was the Stark armor run. I do like the heroes grouping up to face him.

They have been teasing the Avengers confronting Frank for some time, and they do it yet again. This issue was meant only to reiterate the fact that Frank cannot stop and keeps adding names to the list. I'm not really a fan of a Frank Castle that was consumed with the lust for violence before his family was murdered. This changes cannon too much for my taste. There were some good images here, but mostly it was a montage without much going on. Let's see what happens next issue.

I'm still not a fan of Frank Castle being a shitty Dad, a shitty husband, and having superpowers, but there is something to this run by Aaron. I love the present-day artwork and the residual bullet holes in Maria's face and body. I don't like that she was asking for a divorce when the attack happened. This changes cannon. They were happy in the original story on that day. I like the battle with the Avengers and the ending of this issue. People say that this is their favorite run of the Punisher, but I still like the story about his training the female Punisher and the story about him in the Stark-tech armor better.

I'm not as big a fan of this run as everyone else seems to be. Maria comes off as a complete bitch in this one. She steals all of his money and leaves him with nothing. Not a single shred of remorse or concern about how he is going to eat his next meal. I wonder if Strange gives him the bullets on purpose to allow him to disappear and don't get the ending at all. This issue exists just to berate Frank Castle over and over again. Looking forward to a new writer. This one had it's moments, but not that high on my list.

There's absolutely no reason for this book. Ditching Frank Castle for another person with an extremely similar origin is quite meaningless. I liked the ending with him making the shot in the subway, but getting punched through several feet of concrete and his back not being jelly was ludicrous. I like the set up for the Offer, but then he sees the Joe during his mission. However, suddenly all of the action switches to the Offer's apartment where he has to fight the "Night Club." He takes them all out quite easily. I did like the fight with Taskmaster's daughter, but why didn't he keep the glove and why were the baddies all split up. It makes no sense. Dropping the Offer from twenty stories in the air, regardless of the awning and car would make him quite dead. I hope this series gets better. A rather dull ending to a book that didn't need to exist. All because Marvel doesn't like the fact that law enforcement and the military have adopted the Punisher logo. The book has been canceled, so I guess they got their answer -- the Punisher cannot exist without Frank Castle. Joe's family was killed because of his wife and they really don't delve into that at all. He never questioned if he knew his wife as well as he thought he did. All of the internal conflict is just eliminated for cheap action that makes no sense. If it was a diplomatic gathering he never would have been able to crash through the window. Not to mention that he didn't care about the people getting showered with glass. Then he and Jigsaw fell out of a window at least 4 stories high and just landed without a scratch. With only a small number of issues, you would think that they couldn't do a filler issue, yet here we are. Nothing happens in this issue. There was no new information delivered. The last issue ended with ended with Deb being reunited with her dad, yet he doesn't show up until the last couple of pages of this issue. Instead, we get this stupid storyline of her playing a multi-online game where the girls she's playing with just happen to live down the street from her. That is impossible, of course. I think this is a love it or hate series right off the bat. I didn't read the Gala issues and I haven't followed X-Men in a really long time, because it's mostly been crap. I like Gronbekk's Red Sonja and I love Magik and Dani, so I decided to pick it up. Generally, I liked it since I had nothing to base it on. Typhoid Mary was the stand out for me.

This is issue was a bit scattered with not much happening. Curse seems to be happy with the White Witch and she is part of a prophecy. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is still searching for her. Not sure where this is heading, but Mary is still my favorite character of the bunch. Not sure why there isn't at least one male in the group. What happened to this book? Did they choose the worst artist they had on call to do this book? It looks like a mix between anime and South Park. It was tough to take the writing seriously. This series felt like the writer threw a whole bunch of stuff into a blender and switched it on high speed. I didn't feel like there was any identity left of the characters by the end. Magick suddenly gets her magic back, we don't really see a fight with the villain, and there is no real setup for Mary's relationship with the local guy. So, we don't feel much in the way of stakes. This was an interesting take on the symbiote. It's never been in the hands of a child before and the symbiote is a child as well. Their interaction is good and I like that this is juxtaposed with Norman Osborne trying to turn over a new leaf. There are some good stories that can be told here.

I like the take on this book. It's told from the perspective of a child who is trying to be responsible. He takes a beating rather then take advantage of his "pet." I like how Norman's guilt makes hime see Spider-man as his savior. Then they run into some more trouble by the end. Good so far. Let's see if they keep it up.

A slightly above-average issue. Most of my critique is based on the inner dialogue text boxes. The writing doesn't seem like a child. The text is written more like that of an adult. The writer needs to be more aware of that since it pulled me out of the story. I did like the action and I like that scene where Rascal and Normie are talking inside his head. Normie's answer to everything seems to be yelling at Rascal or ignoring it completely. "I'm not talking to you ever again." This is weird storytelling, as it would be better if it was more of John Conner/Terminator relationship where Normie taught it about the sanctity of life rather than just chastising it. Also, I believe Norman in the beginning says "Revolutions eat their own." I'm not sure what is meant by this, but there are no historic examples of this. Just another weird line of dialogue.

I continue to enjoy this series. Some of the dialogue and inner dialogue by Normie hasn't sound like something a child would say, and it pulls me out of the story. That didn't happen in this issue. Though I did question Norman throwing a pumpkin grenade at his grandson. Luckily he was right about the symbiote. I like Norman trying to protect Normie and the random guy trying to steal the armor.

I'm not reading the other titles associated with this story, so I was a bit lost. Especially when this had nothing to do with the previous issue. Somehow Kassady can get into people's minds, control them, and talk through them. Whatever. It all seemed a bit weird. I still enjoy the character, but let's get back to the main story without the crossover. I did like the interaction between Miles and Normie.

Normie has to overcome the urge for violence and connect with Rescal on a different level. Meanwhile, Rascal trying to protect Normie makes that more difficult. The goblins's leader is literally disintergrating and looks to his female right hand to take over. I'm enjoying this, but I just wish the writer wouldn't use vocaulbary that 10 year old would never use. It takes me out of the story.

I'm liking this run. The continued back and forth between his battle with Miles and the sewer with Crossbones. I don't quite understand why the villain would give her supersuit and then send Crossbones after her to kill her. I hope that's explained in more detail. I still like this book. I have no idea how far they are going to take it. The battle between Crossbones and Miles was decent. I like how Rascal is taking Normie off the deep end. I'm not sure how much further they can take this story as it's starting to get to be a one-note story. It should probably end at 12. I was really enjoying this run, but it felt as if this one wasn't meant to be the end and they told the writer at the last minute to close it up. It felt really abrupt and they saved people on a bridge from the devastation he caused. I liked some of this and didn't like other parts. It didn't wrap up since he wanted to be separated from Rascal but was told he couldn't. So what was the journey? I was very confused by the ending. It would have been better if they were separated. The story continues as Lacy plans her escape by relying a few of the men in her life. She wants to rescue Natalie, which gives her purpose. Lacy and Natalie go to a casino where one of her clients are hiding them. This doesn't go well, however. He too wants to cage Lacy, but treats her and Natalie well. Mister has other plans. I'm not a big fan of this art. I do like the Sitha storyline, but it's feeling drawn out and this just felt like a filler issue. I'm not sure why we couldn't have gotten to Sitha's family in this issue rather than waiting until the next.

Another story telling us females are awesome and men suck. Hoohum. Heard this for the past 2 years nonstop. We don't need anyone stealing from Themysicira at this point. So, that aside, Sitha is cute as always and the twist isn't set up in the least. I've enjoyed this storyline a great deal for the most part, but this issue was a low point.

For a final issue of this incredibly long arc, it was over very quickly and I didn't feel there was ever any true danger to Sonja. She walks up and grabs the god by the throat and even has time to make a speech without the god fighting back at all. I know Sitha couldn't continue into the next arc, but I didn't feel there was a good closure to that relationship. We don't even see Sonja saying goodbye. All we know is she dropped her off stayed for a bit and left. Kind of disappointing.

This is probably the best Red Sonja book I've read in a long time and the art is really good. It harbors back to the some the art from the original book. Her expressions are great escpecially at the end in the bar scene. I like how they thought she was a hooker and sent her up to the bishop's bedroom. The villain seems menacing and I'm excited to see where this goes.

The art is fantastic. He really nails Sonja's face and especially the eyebrows. Most of the art on Dynamite's runs have not been very good. The battle for the city takes place showing the magnitude of the villain. The stranger shows up again flitting between bodies to tell Sonja that this is not a battle she can win. This issue had the reveal of her unlikely partner and illustrating that she will have no choice but to team with an ememy to beat a larger, deadlier foe. Having Sonja run from a battle is completely out of character, but understandable in this case. I continue to enjoy this series. We get an unneeded scene in the beginning with Kulan Gath. I thought that by the end of the last issue, she knew who it was, but maybe that was just for the reader. I really like this whole run thus far. It set up Kulan Gath coming back and he is a viable threat. The writer has given him major power showing the reader that Sonja is not going to be able to take him on by herself. This was a disappointment for me. The story starts out well enough but takes a drastic downturn. It moves into a silly, pointless barfight where Sonja just comes off rude nd arrogant. I don't believe she is either unwarranted. She just happens to run into a guy who has the map and he is killed instead of introducingus to a new interpersonal relationship. I have two words for this issue - missed opportunity. I thought that Geoff Johns was going to go for the alternate history ala tarentino, where the British won the war. Instead, we get this convoluted, mess of a story that spans over a hundred years thus far. During those 100 years, he has the same coat, is met by Dr. Strange John Hancock, a child Einstein that somehow knew he was getting out of the grave, magical fireflies, and Cthulu Ben Franklin. This was a good start and I appreciate them keeping the price low despite the high number of pages. The world-building is great. Why they named this the same as the one from two decades ago is beyond me. It's going to get confusing. How secret can it be, when everyone is geared up for it? Of course, this is the lead into the tv show coming to Disney+. Not sure how you can have a Secret Invasion without superheroes in it, but whatever. This one starts with a creepy family celebrating their father's/husband's death because they think he's a Skrull. Why do they think this? Don't know. Later we find out that they are Skrulls and they attack Fury. Throughout this, he is meeting with Maria Hill, who catches on. Then superheroes show up. This is good since I thought they wouldn't be there like in the show. There's some good set up here. I'll buy the next one.

Of course, we've seen all of this in John Carpenter's the Thing. The testing of the blood of the possible shapeshifter. The reveal at the end is very strange. I don't know where they are going with this and the Skrull's plans are still a mystery. How do they plan on taking over the world? And they still don't kill the people they shapeshift into. Didn't they learn from the first time? This is an above-average book, but I'm not seeing a need for it. At this point, it's just a rehash.

Boy, did this go downhill fast. I hate when writers take an entire issue to write a single scene. What was so important about this scene that it couldn't be told in 3 pages? Then North does a two-page splash with Maria Hill jumping out of a plane. Right there I knew there wasn't enough story because he had to fill 2-pages with nothing. Her jumping out of the plane was not even important or cool enough to warrant it. He steals a Batman line word for word for one of Stark's balloons. It's so drawn out for no reason. All the information could have been told in 3 pages. What a let down.

The battle between Tony and Maria was good. I like how he just ripped the armor off of her. Unfortunately, Maria's lust for the death of the Skrulls puts her in a bad place. I'm not sure how they are going to wrap this up in a couple of issues. The story, right now, seems very contained - That's my only critique. Let's see how this ends -- that will influence my opinion of this story a great deal.

This issue is a product of not having a long enough story. Some story are too decompressed and this one is the opposite. We have no reason to believe that these group of Skrulls would turn on teh others. Maria Hill's test by simply shooting at them is not much of a test at all (though I did like the plot twist) and a get a two page spread of a fight scene - and that's it. Then we get three pages of Maria telling Fury that she needs to be better and not be a Skrull-aphobe. Give me a break. We have one panel of Capt. Marvel intercepting the missle after it had already happened. This book needed another issue to really up the ante, instead, it just seems rushed and non-eventful.

The whole dinosaur thing felt a bit weird, especially since they were aliens. The rest of it I liked and ending with a mystery about where this art was going I found interesting. I liked seeing Jen outside of She-Hulk, but it's just a bunch of conversations and the fight club stuff at the beginning is stupid and juvenile. Let's get the ball rolling.

Though the characters are endearing together, there is literally nothing going on. I don't even know what this book is about. They get into fights for no reason, go on a date, and that's about it. Not sure how much Roswell is getting paid to write scripts about nothing, but whatever it is, it's too much.

I'm probably going to continue to drop my score with each issue. This is not a She-Hulk comic, it's not even a superhero comic. It's a romance comic. I don't buy marvel comics for the romance. It's fine if there's relationships woven into the stories, but not the main focus and that's what this is. I'm not sure how long this writer will be on this book, but I'm going to go to 12 and if she's not gone by then or if she hasn't turned this back into a superhero book, then I'm probably going to drop it.

This one reminded me of the TV show (which is not good). At least it stepped away from being a romance book for a few scenes. I'm a huge She-Hulk fan, but like the show, I just keep buying this hoping it will get better, or at least become a superhero book. The end gave me a little hope. I'm over the whole Jack of Hearts thing, as it's been the focus instead of the B-story like it should be. We get the Doombot storyline. It's a cute idea, but again, should be a C-Story at best. Then we revisit the big-head girl and her hulk boyfriend. Let's see if Rowell can actually write a superhero storyline or if her run is a bust.

Why in the world would they do an arc based on the She-Hulk TV show? We just saw this awful plot about the blood in the show, and it sucked then. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the arc. I may quit this until this writer is gone. Apparently, there are just stockpiles of her blood laying around and anyone can use it to mutate. What the hell?

WTF is this shit? Is this even a story or a whole bunch of stuff just thrown at a wall to see if anything will stick? I have no idea why people are rating this so high. I had high hopes for this series and it's just gotten continually worse as it went along. It's not even a superhero book, it's a romance title, which has no space in Marvel. That's not to say that there can't be romance in comics. There very much is: the triangle with Black Cat/Mary Jane & Spider-man for example. The power couple of Aquaman and Mera (my favorite). Rogue and Gambit, etc. But with all of these examples, the romance is the C story. With She-Hulk it is the A story and Jack of Hearts isn't even a likable character and he and She-Hulk have absolutely no chemistry. They don't complement each other in the least. This writer apparently saw the TV show and said to herself - damn I have to put that ending in the comic I'm writing. It feels so forced and out of place it made me roll my eyes and groan. The villains here are the same as the villains from TV show with the stealing of blood and gama. It's just crap writing. I'm going to continue with it until issue 12, and if it doesn't change direction or writer I'm out. Not wasting any more money on this.

I guess some people are liking the fact that this is not a superhero comic, but I'm not one of those people. I miss the old Jen, not the one that sits moping for an entire issue. Pages upon pages of Jen and Patsy saying how great the other is and how they love each other. This was puke in 20 pages. Then we get more of it when Jack shows back up. I was really hoping the story was going to move without him. Then again, what story?

I know a lot of people liked this. I didn't dislike it, I just thought it was all over the place with truncated scenes that felt out place and disjointed with time jumps, etc. It's a really good idea about how to get out of the reincarnation fiasco, but by the time it's over, it doesn't even do that, since Prof. X has figured out a way to pull back on Sinister's formula. It just seems to make a lot of mistakes with a story that could have lasting ramifications. It just could have been told better. 'nuff said.

This issue isn't complete garbage, but it's close. The art is horrible and I don't really understand the whole web of life thing. It doesn't make a bit of sense. I never like the whole arc of her having a child and I assume one of the writers retconned it and now Foxe is addressing it. Captain Marvel doesn't even belong is this book, just like Jessica didn't need to pop up in every single Captain Marvel issue. They should just do a team-up book already, since that's pretty much how these two characters operate. Captain Marvel's new costume is horrendous. It needs to go away quickly. She looks like a baton twirler in a high school band. The only tie-in to Gang War is the last page. I won't be continuing this title, which is unfortunate since I like Jessica. I really like the idea of combining all of the shows into one. I'm not sure how the timeline works with Scotty. He doesn't look old enough to be on the ship with the others. Bones was quite decrepit when he visited Picard's Enterprise. We'll give them a pass for that one. At least they know their Deep Space Nine lore and know that Sisko ascended. I'm looking forward to seeing them all interact. That alone is worth the read.

I still like the cast and love the inclusion of Worf and the Klingons in this issue, but Data seems completely out of place and I wasn't a fan of the floating creatures.

This book was just nonsense. It has no bearing on anything. I was completely bored, just waiting for it to get done. I did like the premise up until this point. This issue could have been completely skipped and no one would have noticed.

This was really a throw-away issue. Nothing really happened. Sisko is conflicted about talking to his son, then there's a whole bunch of expository jargon about particles and tachyons that mean nothing to anyone and they spend far too much time on this. They find an organic celestial and run into the Klingons. What is most disappointing to me is that the writers are insisting on putting LGBTQ into it with a Vulcan no less. There was never a point in the history of Star Trek that Vulcans had LGTBQ in their culture and they stick an MX in front of the Vulcan's name. I'm not on board with that. Collins/Lanzing have done a horrible job on Capt America and this story had promise but seems to be going downhill fast. Just like Tomaki, I think I'm going to swear off these writers and anything they put out.

I thought the ending was a letdown. Then again it is Collin Kelly writing it. They communicate with the alien asteroid-looking thing, and it's over. Then we get some connection between Jake and Ben and then he asks Beverly to be his second in command -- That's it. It's over. So, the new crew can continue into another adventure. Not sure if I'm going to continue or not. I'm just not a fan of Kelly and Lanzing.

The writers spend the majority of this $5.00 issue setting up characters and relationships that we already know. It was a complete waste. In the original series, the ship was already in peril in the first five mins of the show. These guys can't get this moving in 20 pages of a comic. Finally, at the end, they walk right into a trap. Good job, Sisko. We also learn about these artifacts which are direct ripoffs of the Infinity stones. Not sure if I'll keep this title.

The 8-page stories in this issue were very lackluster. It was interesting to see Wil Wheaton's story, but even that was wordy and convoluted for what it was. It was great to see the homage to Nichelle since I used to take care of her when her son went on errands. The cover looks great, but not much beyond that.

This story had some good parts to it. I like how Worf has his son on the opposite side and the banter between Data and Lore was good, but a non-binary Vulcan and pronouns at the beginning of the book with the character bios just doesn't feel like Star Trek to me. I'm not a big fan of Cantwell and though it did like parts of the this book, I don't think I'll be continuing it since it's spanning other titles.

I'm not too sure about this one. I picked it up since I'm a fan of Star Trek, and they used some Easter Eggs like Vic, but I'm not really being drawn into the story. Borg tech and a dog and how it relates to the war. That's the basis for the story. Just not feeling it.

I really like this issue. It had a short-lived mutiny, big starship battles, and the main characters worried for their lives. I'm looking forward to seeing how this wraps up.

It looks like there are some scathing reviews for this one. I liked it. I thought the twist of Ryker finally reaching the end of his rope and stabbing Picard. He takes the throne of the empire, but Picard isn't quite dead. Twists and turns throughout this one. Not sure why other readers didn't like it.

I'm not sure why we needed this one shot and the art is only so-so. We find out that Troi may have been playing a game from the beginning, but I'm not sure what. She left Betazed when she was one of the rulers to try to become the empress. I'm just confused about her motivations, which deminished the action of the book.

It was good to have an alternative to the Collin Lansing stuff. I am not a fan of their work, but I did like the crew they picked out. Back to the OG crew, that's where my heart lies anyway. We get the opposite side of the alternate dimension. Though the costumes are not very imaginative, I did like the ending with the Romulans. Looking forward to the next one.

I didn't like the first half of this as it was very cliche. The way Kirk and Uhura escape and can walk freely around the Roman station unimpeded. Aren't their security cameras anywhere. But then it took a turn with Spock's conversation with the admiral and then then twist with having to campture Checkov's doppleganger to save his life.

The end felt very rushed. I was surprised that the mirror Chekov was killed, and the battle on the planet was cool, but again it felt rushed. The art went to crap in this issue. This was a middle-of-the-road issue I guess setting up the Death Star. They never messed with cannon when they did these stories in the 80s. Here it's like: We will give Luke a yellow lightsaber and we will introduce spies on the Death Star. They should just stay in their lane and create new characters, new worlds, etc. that don't go into canon. I'm afraid of where this is going. In my mind, I have to look at this as an Elseworlds universe, since they are leaving Han frozen in carbonite and sitting in Jabba's palace for a long time. At the end of Empire, Lando and Chewie left immediately to deal with that, and yet they are still here working with Leia. No Bueno.

I like this new storyline but hate the art. What a drop in quality from the previous run. This looks very cartoony and exaggerated and worse, it doesn't feel like Star Wars. I hope they change the art team soon.

I like this issue. I'm not a fan of the art in comparison to previous issues, but I wish Luke hadn't given up his saber. I would have liked to have seen some saber action. I love seeing Hera in here, but she's drawn so badly that she's almost unrecognizable. I have to see this as an alternate universe because the group would not have left Han to rot in Jabba's palace this entire time.

This issue didn't work for me at all. Not sure what Soule is going for here. This issue is why placing stories between Empire and Jedi leaves a bad taste. In the beginning, they are having a "couple of days off." Lando particularly is enjoying himself. Did everyone forget about HAN?! For all they know, they unfroze him and killed him on Tatooine, yet no one seems nervous in the least. It just doesn't work. I guess Soule just rewatched Last Jedi because he took all the bad from that and put it in one issue. Holdo is not a good character and he did get her voice correct from the movie, which was not a good thing. She's just as secretive and uppity as she was in the film. And just as unlikeable. Then he brings up the fuel issue. The whole fuel thing was a farce to being with. The larger ships aren't powered by liquid fuel. The fighters are, but not the larger ships. Think about our current time. Submarines, destroyers, and carriers work on nuclear power. They don't need to be fueled. If we have that technology in contemporary times, why in a sci-fi environment do ships require fuel? It was Rian Johnson not understanding anything about the military and Star Wars and now Soule picked up. Uggghhh!

What the hell even is this? How did this go off the rails so quickly? I really wish they would jump into the area after Jedi like the novels did, because this isn't working. Now they are in "no-space" whatever the hell that is. It sounds like more of a Star Trek thing than Star Wars. Holdo is still complaining about fuel. I am so over this character, just kill her already. And Leia spouts "I'm exactly where I am supposed to be." What the hell? How about preparing to save Han? How about that, since you guys have apparently completely forgotten about him by this point?

This was a pretty bad issue. The style of the artwork seems a bit amateurish. Luke can't be a Jedi without a book? Huh? And Lando is questioning his personality? Never. This whole No-Space thing isn't working for me at all. Plus Han is still encased in carbonite, which continually sticks in the back of my mind throughout this entire series.

Though better than the last issue, I'm just over this no-space storyline, plus no one seems worried about Han. He's almost forgotten by this point, which is why you can't do long arcs like this between Empire and Jedi. It just doesn't work. If it doesn't get better over the next few issues, I'm probably going to drop it.

I liked this issue. It's full of action and the team ends up running from their lives. Tasu commenting about the built guy got old after he mentioned it the first time. Not sure why the leader of Knights of Ren would go shirtless anyway. That part has always been weird to me. I like T'onga's girl having to fight for life on the ship, though I'm not sure how the other assassin got on the ship without alerts going off. I'm also waiting to see what happens with Valance. I like how the Officer said, "let's not tell him his loved ones are dead." It will be good to get the old Valance back and setting up the rematch battle between him and Vader.

This was kind of a disappointing issue. The whole lead-up to this ending was simply a waste of time and the characters say as much. Then the assassin tries to kill T'onga's girlfriend and instead kills the Nexu. Then she cries about it? What kind of assassin is she? I found this very strange. Then the one-eyed officer tries to get it on with Valance. What the hell is happening here? Not a great issue.

There's a lot of action here and many moving parts in this one. They lost their bounty and are trying to get out of a prolonged firefight with the syndicate. 4-Lom makes a bold move that pays off, though I have no idea why they didn't just run to their ship if they could have from the very beginning. It looks like Vader and Valence are going to cross paths with the Hunters during their next job. I'm wondering why Valence is still working for the Empire. Has it not been revealed that his family is dead yet? The cyborg commander and Valance have no chemistry. I'm not buying that relationship at all.

Though the cover on this issue is pretty bad. I was pleasantly surprised with this issue. It was action-packed and there were a few moving parts. Valance sets a trap for them that the team walks right into having little choice and Bossk fights a bigger Trandosian. I thought it was a pretty good fight. The IG-88 scene was pretty good too. Entertaining at very least.

I think this said "to be concluded" so I guess the next issue will be the last or they are rebooting it. The characters are stale at this point. Over 30 issues, nothing has really happened. There was some good action here and Vader showing up was interesting. Also, there's no way to do a crossover with this book since it takes place in a different continuity than the others, just like Han and Chewie. So, maybe its' time for this book to disappear for a while. It doesn't really even feel like a bounty-hunting book.

This was an action-packed issue. A lot happened here, which is not what I can say for most comics. Valance fights Vader and lives to tell the tale. His lover, which I never saw as viable, shoots him in the head, and he falls a hundred feet onto rocks. This is the part I didn't buy. We didn't see how he survived and the fall should have killed him. I like the reveal of Janina Gavankar's character/group. When compared to Han Solo, Doctor Aphra, Sana Starros, and even the main Star Wars title, this is far from the worst.

This book was off to a good storyline and then the writer decides that we need to know Zuckuss' back story. Why? Don't know. He's some kind of nifty navigator. This could have been told in one word balloon without spending pages discussing it. I like the entrance of the Inferno Squad. I'm going to keep on this one for a bit and see if it improves. I dropped the main Star Wars title. There's no hope for that one.

It was good to see Janina Galvagar's character appear. I like that they are being smart and tactical. People should die on both sides of this arc. If everything turns out hunky-dory by the end, it will be disappointing. The genius of this series is that you have extraneous non-cannon characters that you can consistently bring in and kill off. Not sure why they have not done that in three years. This is the gritty book of the Star Wars universe, not sure why they aren't taking advantage of it.

It was neat to see Inferno Squadron and Janina Galvakar's character. The villains actually succeed in their mission as Vallance is captured for the memories of the Empire locked away in his memory bank. It's a good setup, but I'm not sure where they're going with it. I prefer for them to start acting like bounty hunters.

This issue was okay. I hope that's not the end of Boba Fett. He added a huge contradiction to the rest of the group. He was in it for himself and would use them to complete his mission, which is on track with the character. The whole Valance plot feels contrived and the Losha scene could have been removed entirely. The whole issue was just one big battle scene. I liked the twist that Boba Fett was working for the cousin, but there's no set up to what that means to the universe.

I'm not on board with this whole Dark Droids event. It's stupid. I like the parts with Valance and I'm not sure why the editor didn't pick up that the pilot shifted from the left seat to the right seat in two different panels. I'm so over this Dark Droids event. It sucks and it seems to be going on forever. Due to the price increase to $5.00. I've dropped every Star Wars book except this one. This issue was very exciting. We had not one, but two fight scenes occurring simultaneously. Valance being a complete bad ass by taking on the entire team, while Losha goes to take her revenge on the woman that killed her pet. She begs forgiveness and they team up. I really like this series and I'm sorry to see it go. It means that I am collecting zero Star Wars titles when I was initally collecting all of them. The price hike had me drop all but this one and now this one is ending. Alyssa Wong needs to get off Aphra, she's driven that in the dirt. The team tries tirelessly to save Valance, despite the mutiny and betrayal. Somehow Losha shows up at precisely the right time. I did like the cats and their former enemy is likeable but I'm not sure she's redeemable. It seems like this series is just finding it's footing. It's so sad that this is how Sacks decided to end this series. An over-sized issue where nothing happens. There was no reason to connect this with the lead into to Return of the Jedi. T'onga and the group didn't even know he was going to end up fighting the droid and yet they came to his rescue. The end was tied up so easily. It was generally a bad issue all around. Vader tracks down the Governor deflects fire while riding on a speeder bike, and cuts down imperial officers just to make a point. What's not to like? Sabe becomes team leader and she and Ochi track down the weather device. This is an old trope, but I'll give them a pass.

This was a waste of an issue. If I wanted to see episode one again, I would have watched it. I don't need Greg Pak stealing scenes from it and sticking it into a comic. And not just one page, but smattered throughout the entire issue for no reason. The only things that happen are that Vader saves Sabe from the storm and the Emporer's interjection at the end. Otherwise, I didn't need to read this issue at all.

I thought this was a pretty good issue. At least it showed that Vader was a badass but not invulnerable. He goes up against a couple of impossible targets and beats them, but not without sacrificing himself. Sabe makes a conscious decision to save him but really considers it first. Some good action in this.

This was a tense issue. Will Vader kill Padme's double? She watches him reach for his saber with trepidation. He does take her to Emperor, which she was not expecting, but then there's a stupid scene where she runs around the throne and his royal guard accidentally open fire on the Emperor. So, he kills them. That was pushing it. Meanwhile, then Ochi meets up with some more handmaidens. Apparently, they are everywhere.

My biggest problem with this issue was the continuity problem. Dorme breaks into the complex with Ochi. I have no idea why she is wearing the face covering in the beginning if she passes for Sabe in every way, but then she makes a quick change as the Stormtroopers walk in. She's in one outfit in one panel and then in the next, she's wearing Sabe's clothes. What is going on here? It was an easy fix and not one editor caught it. Then you have Sabe on the planet. I do like the double panel page, showing both of them side by side. That was nice. Dorme killing the troopers was a nice scene and the splash reveal keeps me wanting to come back. This is a good story for Vader with the inclusion of the handmaidens.

This was really good. I like how Vader not only battles them but manipulates them as well. I think he could have wiped them out at any time, but it seemed as if he wanted to teach them a lesson. He knew he could use them. Then the villain (if that's what he is) compiled all the droids that Vader destroyed to study him. That's pretty cool.

I like a lot about this issue. The way he continually tests and manipulates the girls. He basically sends them out to fight alone and they don't realize it until they are in the thick of it. Vader on a speeder bike slashing another vehicle is cool and finally getting to Sabe. All good stuff. I'm not sure where this is going, but it's different while still maintaining the Vader character.

I really liked this issue. Though i wish they had jet packs instead of anti-grav disks, which would have fallen into Star Wars lore better. I liked that she would have rather died than complete her mission, or perhaps she knew that Vader would catch her. The splash page of him catching her with the force was great. They incite a revolt and then the end confused me. I guess I find out in the next issue. Good stuff. Probably the best Star Wars title out there right now.

This was a hard left from the rest of the run. Suddenly Vader can't control the force and he's destroying everything in sight. I don't get it. There's very little dialogue here and very little story. Maybe we will get back on track in the next issue.

This one was a mixed bag for me. I like the mental trial that Sabe went through and her end answer was "neither of them." Vader saying, "All I need is hate," was also a good line. What I don't buy is the premise - that Vader would lose control of his force powers and he just keeps exploding with power. I'm not sure how the writer came up with this, but it just doesn't make any sense.

This issue was garbage. WTF. A droid uprisinga against Vader using a staff and shield. This has just gone off the rails. Sorry, Greg, but you need to go. I think he's run out Vader stories and this title is dropping off a cliff quickly. The Sabe stuff was good, but ever since the Faraday Cage thing, this book simply makes no sense and doesn't feel like Star Wars.

Another crappy issue with good art. The staff and shield thing is superfluous. I would much prefer to see the lightsaber instead. The whole Dark Droid storyline is not working for me in the least. This Dark Droid event just keeps disappointing. Darth Vader still wielding a staff and shield continues to be awkward. There's nothing I can say good about this issue or this event. Not sure if Patrick and I read the same book. This story could have been told in 3 pages. The artwork was pretty bad in comparison to some of the other issues. We learned that Aphra's possessed and screws people over. These are things we already knew. The possession portion could have been cut down drastically to get to the next plot point. Instead, we stay there for the entire issue.

I'm not sure I'm digging this story arc. Aphra being possessed, the assassins coming for the artifact. I do like bringing back Magna, but I'm about over everything else. They brought back the murder droids wearing hats and scarves. We have no idea how they returned, however. Seems pretty convenient.

This felt entirely like a filler issue. We meet a bat creature who created a thing called the "spark" to rival the force. Huh? That's about all that happens in the issue. I don't get the whole spark thing. It was originally talked about as being supernatural. Now, it was something that was invented. I did like the murder droids, but that's about it.

I agree that under a different writer, this character has far more potential than the stories she currently has. Commenting on this issue and the run, this was a nice con issue. Most of the team participates in the con. I really thought Kho had turned.

This continues the possession storyline. I was hoping this would have wrapped up by now. It's feeling pretty dragged on. I believe she's been possessed for three issues now. It seems a stretch that the Spark can annex both relics and droids to its will. They needed Kho to stay so she could be a part of Hidden Empire, which seemed very contrived. Somehow using their similar arm circuits, Magna could leap into her mind. What? Again, another stretch. It was action-packed, but it makes the reader put aside so much disbelief that it was tough to enjoy too much.

I think the biggest problem with this series is that none of the crew is fleshed out. I can't tell you anything about any of them other than Aphra and that she had an affair with the cyborg one and that Sana was once married to Solo, though we know very little about that too. It would have been in Wong's best interest if she used b-stories to flesh them out. We know more about the villain family than the "heroes." So, now we have the crew changing sides and Aphra in control of her own body.

This issue shows that Aphra isn't even important to her own book. The side characters take center stage and Aphra is barely missed. I think Sana is a stronger character and I'm looking forward to her book. I figured there was a back-alley deal going on and it was satisfying to see see the dude get his due. The problem that remains with this book is that we don't know anything about any of these characters. We never delve into their past. We don't even know that much about Aprha. Her dad was an archeologist and she was a mean girl in school. That's about it. Wong is not giving us any depth.

This series has really run its course. Alyssa has nothing new to say here. I'm not sure why she is still on this title after five years. This whole thing was the Spark stinks. I'm just waiting for it to be over. Even the art was bad in this issue. If things continue down this course for the next 3 issues, I'm probably going to drop it until they bring new blood on.

Ugh, the book is so mid. We see a retelling of what happened between her and Vader in Hidden Empire (another mid) and then they all hug. That's pretty much it. The only thing going for it is that the spark storyline is over -- finally. It went on far too long and wasn't interesting.

What the hell was this? Is this even a Star Wars comic? How many gay romances can we have in a single issue? Jesus. Dropping this. This is an abomination to action comics. There isn't even a story it's just one gay kiss after another -- Literally 4 times. That's insane. I've collected this book from the beginning without breaks, and it's been on a downward spiral, but this is just bad. Please get another writer on this book. Alyssa Wong has lost her damn mind.

This was the most basic of issues and almost nothing happens. Chewie places tracking on the ship (OS) Chewie goes to rescue Han Chewie gets into a fight with Black K Chewie and Han escape The Falcon is missing That's it. That's the entire issue. This should have been told in 10 pages, not 20. Kind of a let down.

This one was far better than the last, though I wish they didn't make Khel's ship look exactly like the millennium falcon. Not sure what they were doing there. I like the fact that all of the crew he's wronged in the past has come back and I also like the reveal that the guy is not really his dad. I was hoping that was the case, but you never know with writers today. They like to mess with cannon. I also like the look of the new villain. Let's see what happens next. With so many Star Wars titles, I won't be able to continue this one if it's not a mini-series.

We are introduced to a new female character and Chewie gives and takes a beating. We find out about the con man posing at Han's father and his plans as well as Han's fate. There are so many Star Wars books out there, I can't collect them all. I thought this was a limited series originally. So, I'm going to have to drop something.

There's very little originality here. Han is shot and Greedo wants to finish the job but is halted. They leave him and time passes. He is healed by an indigenous race who helps him, but then he forces them to give him a ship. He holds the person at gunpoint. Then he finds out that Chewie is in a prison. I guess he never wondered where he was until this point. Lame. Meanwhile, Maz and Phaedra concoct a plan to make Chewie appear dead. Wow, that's original. Han shows up and Chewie goes to kill Greedo, who you know will be fine in the end only to die in the OT. I was kind of hoping this storyline would have wrapped up by now.

I like seeing Tarkin, other than that this issue was pretty bland. The entire story has been pretty bland. Greedo begging for his life and yet another infiltration into a highly guarded building with barely any preparation. Tarkin is easily coerced and takes almost his entire garrison with him. Han and Chewie take them out pretty easily after they tell the audience that they are called "Death Troopers" for a reason, yet they pose absolutely no threat. They leap out of the window onto a moving train without breaking any bones or rolling off, but hey, it's comics - throw gravity to the wind. As I said - bland. Nothing new to see here.

The issue was fun, but I feel like I'm on a merry-go-round just going in a circle with nothing really happening. There's no real big bad. The story is interesting, just nothing special. I'd like to see the Falcon more. I'd like to see a more crunchy story. The cliffhanger from the last issue was resolved in one panel. That was disappointing.

The anti-climatic ending to a drawn-out storyline. If it hadn't ended. I was probably going to drop it. So, fun while it lasted, but it was time to go.

it's wrapping in the Dr. Aphra storylines. I'm not sure what the Knights of Ren were promised to get their butts zapped. They took it pretty well though. I like that the Emporer was able to choke her through the transmission. Let's see where it goes from here.

I'm not sure I know the reason for this book that can't be told in the other books. Q'ira runs from Vader. Vader hunts for Q'ira and we have a machine that wants the Sith out of the bottle. I'm not sure I even buy the Sith machine. It's too weird. The issue was just "okay."

I liked a lot of factors here. They incapacitate Vader for a few moments and the main heroine keeps him busy long enough for the others to escape with the Fermata Cage. This is my biggest critique of this mini-series. I don't buy the McGuffin, which ruins the story a bit. The reveals at the end that the heroine has sacrificed her life, the Archivist took control of the ship, and Lady Q-ira, not really care about anyone, are all really good. Let's see if they can change my mind about the McGuffin.

I'm still not sold on this Faraday Cage. I like how the Emperor spars with Vader in the beginning and the event seems epic. Let's see how it plays out in the last issue. I hear there's another event right after this one. They have to stop with all of these events.

This issue really drops the ball for an ending. I was never sold on the F. Cage. Vader fights Aphra but lets her get away. He and the Emporer fall into the trap, which I thought was pretty dumb. They only way they survived was because the Knights of Ren saved them. Q'ira just bugs out and that's the end. What a waste of a character. Oh, well. At least it's over.

Though well written, I don't know why we needed a recap of all of the Star Wars titles, which is exactly what this was. I guess it was a jumping-on point for new readers. I do like some of the Vader stuff and it had plenty of action. Of course, the Han title has nothing to do with the others because he's currently encased in carbonite. I may be dropping that one.

I want to start by saying that I like the Sana character as she'd been portrayed recently. That is, until I picked up this piece of woke garbage. Ireland needed to check every box before she even started writing. Starting in the very first scene, I could tell that Ireland no had no idea how to lay out a conflict. The artist did his best to make sense of the story. Sana's accomplice has his back to the troopers as she starts shooting and never moves. He would have been killed immediately. Then we start with will the wokeness. Sana has two dads - of course. She apparently had an affair with Aphra, though this is never eluded to in the other titles, not to mention that she was supposedly married to Han. We meet her family (which is most probably Ireland's insert family), one of which is pregnant. Her husband is an overweight white imperial officer, who abuses her. How many present-day tropes can we throw into 30 pages? He takes her away and the rest of them escape, leaving the pregnant woman to her fate with a line of dialogue that had my eyes rolling - "she can take care of herself." Come on. This was just utter garbage and not what I was expecting. I won't be continuing this series.

Just a retelling of the series. Why in the world would anyone want that? Just turn on Disney Plus and watch it again.

I only just started the book when I found out this was releasing. So far it seems to be sticking pretty close to the events in the book. This issue felt jumbled without any new information coming out of it. At times it was just silly. Specifically, Vader and Thrawn getting encased in concrete and Anakin animating the corpse were both just ludicrous. The back and forth between the two stories was almost dizzying. I was really looking forward to this book as I had just started reading the novel as well, but the way it's written is just too hard to manage. The story switching back and forth every two pages is jolting. I'm having a hard time keeping up with what's going on as I can't remember what plot beats go with what story and I don't see any connection between them. Another confusing issue. The scenes move back and forth so quickly that it is impossible to keep track of one story or the other. I definitely would not have structured it this way. It feels very much like the television show. The characters all have similar voices to their counterparts on TV. I do like the introduction of Red Arrow, who is new to me. The story is not very fleshed out thus far. I'll wait to see what happens in the next issue.

This was basically a bridge issue. They somehow find out the coordinates to the island and take a boat out to it. Just the two of them. i do like the nesters. That was a fun idea. I hope the next one is better. I do enjoy the chemistry between Star Girl and Emiko.

This issue was a bit slow. We got a reveal of the villain and a very looong introduction to all of the kids. I know that they don't have a semblance of time on the island, but they know they can't escape. What have they been doing this whole time? I am interested to see what happens after the reveal of the female flash.

This story is literally going nowhere and nowhen. There are too many generic characters and we don't know anything about them except for the time jumper kid, who is just an ass. The reveal at the end makes little sense. If this series didn't end in 2 issues, I'd probably drop it. John's dropped the ball on this one. Half the issue is one big info dump.

This series is getting monotonous to me. Nothing really happens and we are one issue from the end and I feel like this story could have been told in two issues. Stargirl and Red Arrow are reunited and we get a second reveal of the bad guy. I'm glad it's over next issue.

Everyone loved this series and as much as I love Geoff Johns, it just wasn't for me. All of the villains were revealed in this issue. One of them was reprogrammed and the other was an older version of one of the children, who reveals that only one child had to go back. These kids were there forever, why wasn't the one kid sent back a long time ago, why wait for Stargirl to get there to send him back? Why did it take Stargirl to rally them together? They were all heroes, they should have learned to work together a long time ago and how to beat the nesters. I just wasn't taken with the story as much as other people as much as I like Stargirl.

I am a huge Storm fan. I didn't love the Mohawk time in her career, but I did like the story behind it. Her taking over leadership of the Morlocks and the knife fight with Calisto. However, this is not Storm. She is constantly yelling at Kitty, who got Little Mermaid tattoos (the 80s version) in an effort to rebel. That's not Kitty's character either. Storm is wise and calculating, and empathic. She wouldn't treat a friend like that. I could barely get through this issue. I had to go back to it three different times. I would skip this series.

I know a lot of people don't like this series, but I'm enjoying it. I like that she doesn't get along with her warlord mother and that her mother believes she had more nefarious motives. I like the battle scenes. I have no idea how they are going to wrap this up in a single issue.

I really liked this issue, beginning with her mother, her night out with Moon Knight and finally the big reveal. This was a well-crafted issue that kept the pages turning. Nice work Jeb Mackay. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Despite Clea not being in the issue, I did enjoy it, especially the cameos. Not sure meeting with Black Widow did Wong any good. She didn't seem to have any info for him. Kind of a waste of a scene and use of BW. Seeing Harkness and Scarlet Witch in the bar was cool and having a bartender that constantly changed was pretty unique. Props for that. Jean Grey seemed to put him on a path that revealed someone that does have info for him. Some good story movement this issue.

Clea and Stephen fight a monster and defeat it by working in unison. The most memorable part of this issue is Clea's conviction. Her "Stand by her man" conversation was great. Of course, we have seen the "I love you, but I can't touch you" story arc before. It was seasons 2 and 3 of Dark Angel in the 90s and then again in Bond. Can we do something new?

I didn't enjoy this issue as much as the last few issues. This was more of a bridge issue to the next element of the story. Stephen is back, but he doesn't feel like Stephen Strange. Then we have the secret agent lady and a mystery of how all of the pieces fit together.

These two characters have always worked well together and the battle scenes are really good. The way they look at one another, you can feel the trust. It reminds me of Aquaman and Mera. I love her in the costume, don't think much of his and the stakes aren't very high if he can't be killed. I'm going to sad to see this one go next issue

I really enjoyed this issue, but I thought the ending was confusing and felt rushed. This was romantic and unexpected and them forming what was essentially a zord was cool. After that I thought the book crashed. Poof was Strange was back alive just like that. I'm not sure I like that turn of events either. Again, it felt rushed. Overall, I did like the series and establishing Strange and Clea as a power couple.

I agree with what most people are saying. It is a good start. It at least feels like Superman. The art is good, but Lex is annoying and the Supercorp thing is out of place. It reminds me of the Punisher being offered the fist and Daredevil being offered the Hand - to do "good" with. I didn't mind the hardass Lois as much as some people. Though he fought two villains here and neither fight was amazing. I didn't quite understand the panel with the Superman on the table. Guess we will find out.

A fun issue with parasites running amuck and a new character coming into play. I agree with everyone else that the name and cape are too much like Moon Knight. I like that Lex is vying for his release by "helping" and the end ramped up the pace that started to die out by the middle. Not sure why this book is $5.00 for 22 pages.

The art continues to jump off the page in traditional Superman style. He outsmarts the villain using another villain and has a romantic interlude with Lois. Supes even gives a watch to Luthor. What's not to like? Let's see where the new arc takes us.

My biggest problem with this book is its price. $4.99 for 22 pages is extremely steep and though the book might be decent, it's not great. We start out with the wheelchair prof turning Silver Banshee into her old self. Battle with Superman ensues and Jimmy Olsen jumps into the middle proclaiming his love. This is interesting, but is it enough to keep me coming back at $5.00? If DC wants everyone to get back into Superman, then they should be lowering the price not inflating it.

Still not loving the price of this book and I have no idea why they feel Superman is worth $5.00. I do like Lois not adapting to corporate life easily. I did miss not seeing Jimmy and Livewire in this issue. I do think this Chained character is a little lazy in development and characterization, but let's see where it goes. The $5.00 price point is killing me. I like the book, but I'm not sure if it's worth $5.00. The artwork in the beginning in comparison to Dan Jurgens work is such a huge contrast. This was a missed opportunity. The last issue ended with Nightwing and Babs in the old west, which is completely forgotten wit this one. They end up in the old west from the regular time line so Marilyn Moonlight can see herself younger. I would have rather seen the continuation of the end of the last issue. Then it so convenient for them to run into someone that had a time machine making it very simple for them to return. This side mission should have taken at least a couple of issues. I like going back to explain what happened before Superman's return from the Old West since it seemed abrupt with the appearance of the villains. There is one major error here, the kryptonite gas is all around Superman, weakening him, however, when he's subjagted to red kryptonite, with the gas still there, mind you -- suddenly he just takes off, using super speed as if nothing is wrong. I'm glad this arc is over. It was getting pretty tired. I like Lex stepping in, but I don't know how he got out of prison. Everything gets tied in a neat little bow. I also like Lena shutting off the suits, though I don't think it would be that easy. Lex would have installed a redundancy. I'm looking forward to the next arc and hoping it's better. This book didn't do it for me and gave me no reason to get the second one. Nothing happens and we have seen this story before. A select group of people can get superpowers. Somehow she was able to build a robot from prison. Not sure how that works. It's a skip it for me.

Kelly Thompson is always hit or miss for me. The artwork here is incredible. Very cinematic. But aside from introducing a few characters, nothing really happens. I'm reserving my review of this series until it gets a little deeper into story.

Kelly Thompson is always hit or miss for me. The artwork in this book is great--very cinematic. I was intrigued by the first issue even though there was very little story. Okay, I said to myself, it's character setup. I decided to give it another issue. However, once again, we have very little story. They step in the water, they don't even try to find a way back, just in case they are stuck there and then they have sex when their friends are waiting for them only a few feet away --- What? I liked this issue better than the last. I still don't know how the pick-one power works, since she is flying and indestructible at once. I liked the imaginary friend idea. It's a trope, but we haven't seen it used like this in a while. I wish there was a clear line of those she is seeking revenge upon. I have no idea who the bad guys are. I found this issue confusing to begin with as I knew nothing about the character that was speaking and I originally thought it was the female main character. I had to go back and re-read it. Then the imagery of the nun and the fem fatale I didn't understand until I realized that's what this guy being tortured was seeing. I liked it, but it was a bit messy. I thought the art was pretty good in this issue. I liked the beginning where we learn about her husband and how they met. We didn't really get in the first issue that he was an agent. He felt like more of a stay-at-home dad. If he was an agent, I think his instincts of letting her go off on her own on that last mission were pretty bad. I thought this issue was pretty solid outside of the flashback. The only reason for the flashback was to explain the crystal dart. He didn't even bother telling us that the flashback was over, which I found very confusing. The battle scenes are good and the fight was the dragon was cool. Looking foward to this wrapping up. I liked a lot about this issue while other parts confused me. I liked the beginning with her releasing the Djinn dragon, but then there was the conversation with her alter ego. It was strange that in the last issue, J. Michael decided to change the story. She's no longer an element of her peronsality, she was actually an entity. I thought this muddied the waters. Then she comes back at the end and somehow saves her, but I don't understand how. In the final splashpage she looks like she channels the entity again. So, it just feels like it's all over the place.
