It was pretty decent. I will say I might have enjoyed it a little more without reading the review under the critics section but, the twist was pretty obvious to begin with. It was pretty enjoyable though, looked good and had me invested.

It was pretty decent. Nothing special but it does provide a lot of new insight. I dont know machine man beyond this mag so it showed me his character and had some decent ideas.

Machine man is the only Tie In to this "event" im reading and I enjoyed it. I wasnt expecting much and wound up liking what we got out of these 2 issues.

I thought this was a great ending to what I thought was a pretty good series. While there are some things I didn't enjoy as much as others throughout the 5 books, this has all but made up for them. I think if I would have read them all in a row it would have been better as well. Sometimes there were big gaps between issues that it made me forget somethings that happened before. Overall, the art was pretty fantastic and like I said, this was a great last issue. Really surprised by the ending too, but that makes it all the more better.

It is sort of cliche in a lot of areas but, it's done well. Something about it really has me rooting for the guy to pull it off.

I honestly like this series a lot. I liked this issue just as much if not more than the first. It's really not a trailblazing comic that's doing somwthing wildly different but, it does what it does in a great way.

This is a hard book to rate. It really doesn't have much idea of a plot. But maybe that's the point. We are picking up on it slowly and it's a very visual book. I'm somehow very intrigued.

I read one and 2 a while ago and, just lost track of this series. I just re read them and caught up today. It's a good series. It's a little light on dialogue but, it has you invested in the characters. It's got great visuals and that blonde haired dude is just creepy. Good series and issue.

This series has been pretty solid but, this issue was pretty wild. This series focuses on visual storytelling, and this issue did a great job of showing that fight.

The arts pretty cool. The concept is alright but, it lacks a lot of substance for me to get more invested. 2 issues in and all we get is a guy mad at his dad for kidnapping him, the dad wants him to do something and he disagrees.

It was a while since issue one. I can't say I rememberd everything, but this issue did a wonderful job of telling its story. It's quick, but it keeps you invested.

A really though provoking and interesting series. One where the 1st book is really good, the 2nd confuses you to no end and the 3rd wraps up everything you were confused about. There is one issue I have keeping it from a 10 involving the reveal at the end. Either way, it is more of a book in a way, so if you are looking for worded pictures, this is not the book for you, its a lot of reading, but definitely worth it.

If you read Eternals recently, it's a little redundant but, I can't say it was bad. I felt it laid a decent template for the start of the event.

It was alright. Just showed mainly the Eternals and how they kind of are trying to make the world a better place.

It was a pretty good start. I think there could have been more but, for what we got, it had me entertained.

It was a little jumbled when it came to the action scenes. The parts that shined though, really did. Very enjoyable, and really has me excited for the next issue.

This issue was damn good. I think it had a lot of good parts, and great visuals. Just stinks that knowing the ending can't be too legit with 2 issues left.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but this series is really solid. It's the first event in a while that felt event worthy. This issue has it all.

On one hand I liked it. It had some really solid moments. But it also had some generic return to the status quo and some things we are just supposed to accept. I guess I can't complain too much, but I wish there was more fallout that mattered.

It's unique. At first I was thrown off due to not being what I expected, but it really does a good job of committing to its weirdness, while delivering a great story of revenge.

A really good start to this event. If you've been reading venom and all the tie ins since cates took over its definitely very rewarding. The art is just fantastic.

While it had some issues this book was pretty great. The last few pages were intense and while I dont get why carnage just took off without the codices from the machine it was cool to see eddie do what he did.

What we got was very good but it just felt like it ended very quickly. And now it seems like knull is going to be a problem again.

Was fine and I would have given it a higher grade until I put off reading it and read it right before I read absolute carnage 4. That book makes it seem like ending to this didnt matter or really even match. Kind of a bummer

This was a fun moon knight story. I never read much of Kang but he seemed like a solid villian and the plot was pretty straight forward but we'll done. Really enjoyed the art as well.

I enjoyed it but, I did need more in order to call it great. I liked the first and last story best. The 2nd one just felt like half a story.

It definitely doesnt get much done but, im willing to give it another issue to see what they do with it.

Its was better than the first but, its still missing something that makes it stand out.

There were at least 2 great stories. Most were pretty good. I think there was one, I didn't care for too much. Overall, a good Spider-Man read.

At this point this book is what it is. Its not what I expected and its nothing that great but, to me, it has a lot of charm and this was probably the best issue yet.

It was what you can expect from the series. Not sure now that arc is over ill keep it on my list but I feel like it wasnt a total waste of time.

The Norman vs. Spidey saga is back in full force. Norman is so cool to see when he's much more calculating and focused. The art is great and the story was action packed and perfectly fine, but somehow Peter Parker funding a war just doesn't fully agree with me though, which is my only knock on the book and also just my opinion.

There are certain parts in this book that I liked and some I did not. I thought the last half, the fight between Norman and Spidey was absolutely awesome. The beginning to me just seemed kind of corny with the forced dialogue between Sable and Spidey. The art is top notch. It's not even the type of art I prefer, but there is no denying how great the faces, the action and tones of the panels are. The ending does leave a big cloud surrounding the return of a certain character. I am excited to see where this goes.

Am I horrible person for thinking this has been one of, if not the best, issue in this current incarnation of Amazing Spider-Man??? Stuart Immonen is awesome! His art is perfect for this book. This was a great tie in to Secret Empire, but it is not a required one. It stands on its own and is entertaining the whole way through. The stakes have been raised for the next issue.

Solid issue. I didn't find too much wrong with it. The art continues to impress while the story is just never taken to that next level. I really am enjoying the superior octopus vs. Peter dynamic and how this could be the end of Parker Industries. We will see what happens next!

This issue was awesome. I really like it from beginning to end. The action, the art, the story all came together nicely. This is the end of parker industries! I hope the momentum of good issues continues into Marvel. Although the other Spider-Man series is my favorite on the stands this still is a good series that seems to be getting better.

Greg Smallwood is probably my favorite artist so hearing that he was doing an ASM book just made me so happy. The story itself was interesting throughout and I think the more I keep thinking about it, it just gets better in my head. I really liked the concept and the execution. This is definitely a teaser for more stuff down the line, but what a teaser. The art was awseome. I'm really just a sucker for anything Smallwood.

This issue has me split. I really thought it was a good story and was well written. As always, Immonen has been killing the art. It's just that I truly enjoyed Peter as the billionaire. I have hundreds of back issues if I really wanted to keep reading down on his luck, broke Parker. I thought the Parker Industries era was cool and showed Pete's potential as a global world saver. In the end, I am not one to really hang on the low's and so I am now ready to see where this new era leads. Comics, to me, are fun and I will always have fun reading no matter what.

A very good issue with some solid art as always. Some of the parts felt a little unnecessary, but overall, a needed chapter in the fall of Parker. This is some vintage spidey story telling right here.

Another solid entry in the Amazing legacy arc. I was really disappointed about Peter losing his company, but hes back on the right track with at least somewhat of a new job for him. Great art from Immonen as always.

Not sure how I feel about this one. It was ok. Nothing really that great. Spidey's hatred for the symbiote is a little annoying. I do like Flash back in the fold though. The concept of the villians is kind of interesting. Hopefully it gets better, because Spidey needs good books at this time.

This was a solid issue. I really enjoyed the Zodiac story getting tied up. The ending... wow, should be awesome.

I have really enjoyed this arc. With the one shot type story's while Norman's plot grows bigger. I am so excited to see the confrontation. Other than that, it's always solid to see MJ and Peter together. Art is not as strong as Immonen, but still pretty good.

What an issue. Probably one of the top 3 issues since this volume started in 2015. Norman is straight chilling in this book. That last page, with the revelation Norman has, just wow. Things are about to pick up and this has all the makings of a classic arc.

Spidey is in top form. The art, the story is really becoming a top ASM story. The Red Goblin is just nasty and Norman is as menacing as ever.

Really solid issue. Everything was good. The stakes felt high, the red goblin is treated as a huge threat and it's getting ready for the big showdown. Although the cliffhanger was a tad corny for me, it didn't take too much away from the story and could be turned around with an interesting plot in the next issue.

This is a good read. Although there feels like some lost opportunities on certain things, there were plenty of great moments and a true display of how great his supporting cast is. It flowed well, had lot's of action and a death that I was actually shocked by. The art was pretty good in most of the book. On a side note, I am far from an expert, but Humberto Ramos art is really not for me whatsoever. The book was good. The conclusion was good. It's definitely worth the read if you've been following along so far.

Classic read. Yea, it wasn't the greatest thing I ever read, but the heart in the book sure made up for any faults. This was awesome and really well drawn.

Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this. The main story was fun, it had mystery and while it didn't unfold the best or make a ton of sense, it was still pretty fun and enjoyable.

This was a really solid opening. I though it was well written and definitely had some cool reveals and definitely ends the main story on one of the best pages any spidey fan can look at. My only issue is the art. I am not saying it's bad. I clearly could not draw anything nearly as cool as this book, but it's just not the style I look for in books I like which is very disappointing. Overall, it is a good start, a new villain appears, some classic villains show up and the return of my favorite aspect of Spidey comics!!!!!!! I don't want to spoil it but, I hope it lasts at least "one more day"

This second issue was really good. I liked the first one as well, but I was more concerned with the follow up to the start. This showed that the series is in the right direction. The humor is there, the good dialogue, MARY JANE! and a little surprise at the end. This should be a good series. Art seemed a little better in this issue as well.

I actually really enjoyed this book and while I get some of the gripes, I feel like people just think too hard when reading comics. It's meant to be fun and enjoyed and that's exactly what we've been getting with this new series. The concept is great and was really well done. This Spidey volume is already moving to the top of my list. My only thing is the art. Not my style.

Ive really been enjoying this new Spider-Man series. The concept remains fun and interesting and I am excited to see how this pans out. Overall, Spencer is doing just fine.

I thought this was another good job by Spencer. I am not a Ramos fan so the art really just isnt for me. The stories do have that classic spidey feel to them as they almost feel very one shot like but with over arching plot threads as well.

This is a pretty solid issue with some good homage moments and an interesting plot. I just really can't get into Ramos is art. I try so hard. Anyway its a good read with an interesting ending

An entertaining end to an entertaining arc. Nothing crazy but definitely a fun read. Still not a big fan of ottley art. I love the Jonah storyline so I'm a sucker for that. I just wish theyd get on to the thread with centipede villain already.

This was good. I'm really looking forward to this story. I will say this though. Im no artist or anything but, ottley and Ramos are both not my style and I feel like ottley really didnt fit the tone oxf this issue. It could have been a lot more impactfuland menacing if the artist was not as hokey.

While the plot still seems a little corny, the action and writing is extremely well done and actually makes me care. Ramos actually kills here as well.

A swrviceable tale that is very emotional and brings you on quite the ride.

This hunted event isnr bad but theres either some twist thats going to hit hard or thos event will go down as missed opportunity. There is just something missing and I can't figure out what it is.

This was the first issue that made me feel like the concept is starting to work. I really am going to see how it all ends. This was the start of the turning point that will either make or break this story.

This book is a legitamate tie in in the fact that it almost is needed. It continues the story rather than reallybdoing a charter expose like the previous .hu's

Hunted is set for an ending that will define how this event is remembered. Will it land, will it not we will find out but, this does a great jib of getting us there.

I really wish they chose a different artist because a darker tone really would have helped this arc. This ending actually was surprising but in a good way. My only critique was this arc was drawn out in the middle and kind of seemed to rush the ending but overall hunted was a success for me.

ASM 23 is a great tie up of hunted while planting seeds for the future. I can't wait to get the show on the road with this centipede villain and the new kraven is a great way to keep the villain around.

With all this great set up I just hope Kindred lives up to the hype. This book did a great job of getting you ready.

Definitely a hefty read. The Jameson story was a little weird and the last one was horrible but the main story and the appearance of 2099 gives this a good grade. I'm ready for Kindred, Spencer has built himself quite the villian.

Not horrible but can we actually get on the road with kindred already. This seems like an issue that is more filler than anything. Plus if youre not that crazy about the new syndicate. This wont help.

While it is entertaining and really fun I just dont get why this came after such a build for Kindred. I also don't buy for one second that a group of villians wouldnt kill Spidey if given a clear shot.

A fun filler issue that ties up the arc but it didnt really give us much substance.

Great art in this book. Besides that the story is pretty good. I'm a sucker for 2099 stuff so I was happy but, it was a slow moving book thats more of an intro than it is an actual story.

Has some good parts but just seems to be random. Peter felt like a costar in his own book. Im not sure how this whole silver sable thing is connected and im just not sure how any of this relates to 2099 so far. The art was really enjoyable.

Im not sure what this was or how it relates to 2099 at all. It was a subpar issue that just seemed thrown together. It wasnt horrible but really felt like a missed opportunity to focus on whats really going on with the story.

The story itself was actually pretty good but as for how this needed to be a 2099 arc. Im not sure. I'm pretty disappointed in certain aspects of the 2099 story in general but I guess overall it was ok.

Finally a solid issue after that pretty average 2099 arc. This got back to basics with what made this good to begin with.

This has me back excited for Kindred. It was a really cool issue and while the last page was a tad confusing it was a pretty eerie book. I do think it would have benefited from an artist that fit the tone better but it is what it is

ASM is the best its been in a while and while it might not be a classic it could be by time we are all done with this.

Another solid issue. Lacks spider-man but its a great issue that keeps the tension building.

Side note: its my 1000th review. Damn time flies. This arc is really interesting. Spencer's run has fluctuated so much it was good to get a few good issues in a row. It really has nothing involving kindred yet which is a bummer but I really like what we got. The artist on this one did a really good job as well.

It was pretty darn good. There were some really good parts and some good progress in the plot but I will admit the the whole morals thing superheroes have sometimes is just corny to me. Like norman Osborn is bound to kill more people and I get not wanting to kill him but the fact he wont let sin eater is just too much. I get thats the point of this book and its well done but i just never understood that part of heroes.

I thought it had the feeling of a good read. The back up stories I really dont have much to say about but the main story was well done. Norman was the star here but it still bugs me that Peter just cant let the sin eater do whatever to Norman. Like I get the moral code but how many times is green goblin gonna do things and Peter just be ok with it. Its like the joker and Batman. The team up was very interesting though and Im curious to see what happens with the hint that peters meant to die at normans hands.

I really liked this issue. Im glad we are finally getting somewhere with kindred and some of the scenes in here were just awesome. Cant wait to see what happens. Also gleason is a beast on the art. Hope he stays on for a while.

It was a pretty good read that I wouldnt say is totally needed but definitely adds some depth. Really likes the Norman parts. The other not so much but it also had some Kindred and Spidery interaction.

Probably the best LR issue and its pretty solid. The ending was actually pretty interesting and definitely adds more dread to the finale.

On its own I find this to be a great issue but as an issue labeled as the last issue of a highly anticipated arc it is going to leave you indifferent depending on your thoughts.

I enjoyed it. It definitely was a twist of what we kind of expected but it opened up a lot more questions and theres still mysteries that linger. Why is Harry kindred? what was his endgame? How long will Norman be good? Theres just so much to ask.

On one hand last remains just needs to move on and I understand peoples frustrations but I really enjoyed this one. Do we get answers? No, but its filled with a hell of an interaction between norman and peter and just felt emotional throughout for me. Good read. Kindred will be back again.

Amazing has been a solid average comic for quite a while. Its nothing that leaves you on the edge of your seat but, its fun and it has some charm. Id like to spencer just slam dunk an arc but it never seems to pan out.

Its a little corny like most of the run has been but it also has that fun charm you want in a spidey book. Overall a pretty fun issue. On a side note.... I can get behind renumbering of volumes, I can somewhat get behind the .lr .hu issues but, i do not like the fact that to finish this story I have to get kings ransom #1? Why not just oversize the next issue. Very annoying.

This was a pretty solid issue. It gave us the first good kindred moment in while. A few twists and just felt like good progression overall.

I think it was a pretty solid book and had some good parts but, its downfall is its trying to start tying things together that were introduced early into spencers run that seemed to be abandoned at the time, so it makes this feel way past its prime for the beats to hit. Some of the references I forgot about because they were so briefly touched upon. I do want to see this arc turn out well but, im going to need more.

It has some good points but, it just feels like its filler in some ways before we get into sinister war. I am liking the clairvoyant part the most but, lets get on with the Chameleon already.

I mean I think I understood what happened but i just started reading newer comics like 6 years ago so besides early ASM I dont know what its referring to and it just seemed too jumbled for me to make total sense of it.

If your take away the aspect that this is supposed to be an epic conclusion to a 3 year story its actually not horrible. I enjoyed reading it too be honest. I just try not to think about the fact it took 73 issues it took to try and get us to this point.

It was an enjoyable read whether youre familiar with sin eater or not. Its shaping up to be a good story if Spencer can pull it off.

It was a good tie in that to me was a little more effective in setting the stakes than the last ASM. I am ready for 850.

Was better than I expected. It had resolution to a few things but, damn, screw you boomerang.

On one hand I really liked certain parts and on the other, well it just didnt accomplish much, did it? It trys to come off like it did something wild but, it didnt. And the fact that we had to pay more to get another 1 shot is whack.

I'll give it the benefit of a #1. It does have a lot of explaining to do with such a massive shift in the status quo.

I really like the tombstone parts but, this whole series just feels off. I get that things will be revealed but, it sets the tone the wrong way. I'm willing to give it more bit, I'd like for some more answers to start coming soon.

It's not bad. It has good parts. It also doesn't feel like an Amazing Spider-Man book which is why I am docking it a little. I get we need set up, but it be nice to get some Peter in his book.

Some of the parts were just stupid. The art was the real star. The issue was passable. Just didn't feel exciting.

Pretty good action scene. Lots of blabbering. Didn't really enhance the story until the end.

The art was good. The story.... not really. Just so campy and dull. I'm not even getting the same villain feeling fron Ben as I did at the start.

Ehh. I can't say it was absolutely terrible. Rek-Rap was annoying, but I have to say I was kind of rooting for him. Other than that, it's just a passable read and nothing more.

It was once again another pointless issue. I know it was a fill in story, but give me a break. This was only slightly ok due to the art and the nice interaction with Felicia at the end.

I dont think its as bad as some of the critics are making it seem, but I also dont think all is great in ASM right now. Its going to require some really good follow up to try and convince me and others that breaking up MJ and Peter for this story was worth it.

I feel like I'm interested in the story. I feel like the potential is still there. I'm just concerned that it still did not do much to make me care about the change in status quo. Hopefully they stick the landing.

A much better issue than the last two, but is it enough to really make me care? It's starting to, even though it's not blowing me away. The plot is decent, but some of the character work is lacking.

It does provide some explanation. It does peak my interest a little. But did we even need this?

I surprisingly like the reason why Mary Jane had moved on. I just don't understand why it's needed and I could care less about the villain.

Hmmm. This one is a hard one to rate. Especially because it was spoiled. I think there were good moments. I think if you reflect on the issue as a whole its more of the same, and it's not very eventful. I think this whole arc had some promise, but overall it's just doing too much to piss off the long time readers and fans, and it's not needed.

A little corny in parts, but overall a fun/ interesting issue that felt different than a large amount of this run so far.

Fun? Yes. But it's more campy than I'd like. It doesn't really captivate me and I always think it's dumb when villains have a chance to kill the hero and don't for whatever reason.

I thought this issue had a lot going on. It was pretty darn good. Some parts to me felt a little forced or corny, but overall it was a solid read with some good spidey moments and the encounter between Eddie and Flash. The art was really good as well. I liked the book, just felt like it was missing something.

I found this to be highly enjoyable. I am not familiar with the work it's based off, so I can't speak on that regard.

This was another debut this week I was really hyped for. It did do some good things for a number 1, which has me invested.

I have a lot of back issue Avengers issues from he first volume, but I have not read any new Avengers comics in my life. I figured with the new Marvel legacy it would be a good time to jump in since I am also reading Champions at this time. For starters, I was really impressed with the art. Saiz killed it on Captain America: Steve Rogers and his beautiful art is now in this book. The story itself did not explain much to what was going on. but that is fine because it is kind of making it a mystery at this point. The scene of them trying to stop the meteor was really cool. (except it was kind of lame to even imagine that Spider-webs no matter how strong they may be would stop a meteor) Overall, I really enjoyed this issue, it was good starting point to start reading and leaves me wanting to know more.

Avengers continues to be a fun read. The art has been nothing short of awesome. While it is not an all time classic story, it is retro, it is fun and very interesting.

Probably the best issue of the crossover. This was gorgeously drawn and colored. It was very interesting and the ending??? Wow. That was some emotional stuff. I know some people did not like the last page, but I am ok with it.

Solid opening issue. I have no idea who some of these people are, but it works and was a lot of fun. Great art is in here as well. Overall, a good start.

Lot's of fun and some great art. No Surrender has not been what I expected, its actually a lot more fast paced and action oriented, but it has been a good time to read.

Avengers No Surrender has not been this amazing story that's changing the game, but it is a lot of fun. The art always impresses and the plots of each issue are ever changing with different character narratives and sub plots. The Hulk is the standout of this issue. He is just brutal and yet so calculating. the Voyager plot was just straight awesome. Everyone in the chat rooms thought she was the next Sentry. What a twist.

This book had some really interesting points and also managed to take this 16 book event and kind of rush the ending a little bit. The part with lightning and the card game was really cool but the whole memories thing was a little too much. Overall, this whole arc has been pretty solid with just a decent ending. Definitely not bad at all.

Mainly a summary issue. Some parts were a tad confusing for me, maybe because I am not totally familiar with the US avengers and what they do or are about. To me the after effects are very minimal for how large the scale of this was. It wasn't a bad story at all, but to me No Surrender went from a pretty damn good comic to a good comic that ended a little flat. Still worth the read and very entertaining. The art has been good throughout.

This was a really, really, really good read. It set up everything pretty nicely without giving too much away. The threat is big, it's mysterious, it builds off Marvel Legacy #1, the art is amazing. I really can't say anything bad.

Not as good as the first issue, but still pretty good. The fight between ghost rider and hulk was a little out of place, but other than that the plot continues and Loki makes a big mark on the story. The art continues to impress and the story is fine, just fell like it's missing something.

Another solid installment. It's going the slow build method, but it works and I am enjoying this book a lot. Really interesting way to end it and I am interested in what's coming.

For someone who loved this arc, this was a let down. There were some really cool parts but, overall it felt very corny. It's the end of the world and Tony is still cracking jokes (some terrible ones at that) and the way they figured out how to defeat the celestials was just really corny to me. To me it was just cheesy and for someone who wrote things like God Butcher and Unworthy Thor this was just not what it should have been.

After a real let down of a finale in the last issue, I was happy to see some good quality come out of Avengers this week. This was a simple yet effective origin. Were there things that could have been better? Sure but, what we get is good and gives a little of the mystery about the BC Avengers to us. Sara Pichelli always kills art so I knew there would be no issues there. It looks great.

Interesting, but this avengers run really needs a home run after the lackluster end to the celestial arc and everything that has come since.

A good read. I just wish theyd do a .1 type issue thing and just do all the origins of the old avengers much closer together. They are good but they seem a little pointless with it being so long since legacy. Also the ending of this was a little lackluster.

This issue was pretty solid but, there is just always something I feel is missing in each issue. Not sure but I just feel like there is more potential here.

The whole vampire thing seemes kimds of pointless in the long run with this ending. But besides that it was entertaining and really well drawn.

The Avengers series remains entertaining but overall just feel like there could be more. Its a good intro to the squadron and is good looking throughout.

Its had some good parts and looked good throughout but theres just something about how Aaron writes Tony that I really dont like. A lot of it comes off corny and the humor just doesn't click for me.

Once again another issue of avengers that falls short of being great. Its never bad but its never great. Just get on with the show soon though. Its just crazy we get this issue and next one starts the moon knight story

Im a huge mon knight fan so to see a story with him messing with the avengers was cool. It did seem very out of character for moon knight especially recently but it was darn entertaining and interesting. Clearly theres more at play with the last few pages. Can't wait to see where it goes.

Glad we got an explanation for moon knights heel turn but it still seems a little too forced but this is probably the best the avengers has been in a while.

There were some really cool parts and at points the stakes felt big but then we have these corny parts like she hulk thinking about basketball and the joking around with iron man just takes me out of it.

This is a strong 7.5. It was entertaining and I enjoyed it probably more than I should have. Its over the top and a little out there but ill take it and I am curious as to what the endgame is here.

Thor god of thunder is one of my favorite runs and god butcher/ bomb is ine of my favorite stories of all time. The fact that the same guy is writing this Avengers series is mind boggling. It just loves to throw good ideas out there and not execute to its potential. This book had good parts but overall was a rushed letdown of an ending.

Maybe I am just in a good mood this week but, this book was solid. I didnt get the sense of disdain for certain parts like I have with other issues in this run. I think I am excited to see what happens but, not getting my hopes up.

It's a pretty good Ghost Rider story but, besides Ghost Rider getting tortured, not much happened.

Reading the print issues so I guess this review is for issue one and 2 in one. I liked it a lot. I like when comics tell grounded tales. Not that I don't enjoy superhero and sci fi books it's just a nice change of pace. Especially when they are well crafted like this.

Since I'm reading the physical issues, I'm guessing this is the end of book 2? Still remains a hit for me. I love how simple it is, but the characters and the writing really drive home the quality.

It was never going to have an ending that matched the journey, but I can say it was worth the ride. It was a nice, grounded well told story.

I thought this issue was good. I did not see the big deal of this crossover during this issue. I felt kind of lost during the read, maybe its because I am unfamiliar with DC's history or the watchmen. ( UPDATE: After reading part 2 in Flash #21 this story made much more sense to me )

I am much more of a Marvel fan but, wow, this comic has it all. the art is is great from the facial expressions to the time traveling. This story has been good as well. Besides not really understanding too much of what was going on in the first issue, this story has turned that around and I really look forward to seeing what happens. I only am trying to figure out how they will do that in one more issue.

Not sure what all the fuss is about with this issue. As much as I really enjoyed the art which was fantastic, this issue really did not excite me. The story was ok and very basic. Someone is found dead, team up ensues, minor plot twist at end. I look forward to the upcoming Joker's arc.

This was an ok book. I'm not sure why DC gets such high praise compared to Marvel these days. I think King's writing itself is great and the art for me is amazing. I just don't like this love story. For Bruce to do what he did at the end, I'm not sure I enjoy it. That is just my take on it. Overall a solid read.

This was a very intriguing read. Some of the monologue from Batman was confusing at first, because I did not realize it was taking place in the past. The art is awesome. It is probably my favorite thing about this book. This is shaping up to be a fun story that has me interested. My one knock would be the ending. The way Bruce says that he has to tell to this story is kind of corny. Other than that, great read!

I personally enjoyed this issue more than the last. I think it is a really fun premise and as a fan that is new to DC comics, I really like that it is set early in his career. The art in this book is probably my favorite part. It is unbelievably good. I hear this is going to be a long story, so we will see where this all leads.

Not sure why this book gets such high reviews. All of this batman run has been hot or miss. It seems like the writer is just trying too hard. None of this event has lived up to a fragment of expectation. Besides the art, this really is on the verge of losing me as a customer. I know that's just my opinion, but it just doesn't seem to do it for me.

Over hyped and over rated. This book just does not do it for me. It just seems like a very unrealistic war, barely has any Batman and besides a couple of cool scenes, the story falls flat. The only thing worth looking at is the art. This whole storyline is not for me.

I am so glad that this story is over next issue. Although this was one of the better ones it still is just not meeting the expectation I had for this event. The art is fantastic but, that is about the only great thing going on here. The whole Selina's answer is hanging on the end of this story is corny and don't even get me started on this stupid Kite Man stuff. Please just end this arc and move on. I am done with this.

So glad this arc is over. It was nothing like what I expected and that's not really a good thing in this case. I hope I never see kite man again and while this issue had some good parts it wasn't worth all the issues and interludes to get here. Hopefully the next arc is better. The art was the best thing about the book.

After reading the description for this coming arc I thought this was going to be pure garbage. In all reality it was pretty decent. It still doesn't warrant, in my opinion, the amazing grades that a lot of people are giving it, but hey, opinions are aren't facts. The art was out of this world. Definitely the high point of the book. Other than that it was average for me and this whole Batman run has been subpar. The ending leaves me interested though.

I thought this issue was better than the last in terms of story. The art continues to impress and is the best part of this book. I am excited to see where the story leaves, even though it is a little cheesy.

Finally, a story I enjoyed in this Batman run. To the artist of this book: you made this whole arc. The art was some of the best I've seen in my entire life. Great fight scene and a nice wrap up to this mini-arc.

I enjoyed the art and there were some good moments, but overall, it's kind of silly right? Superman and Batman embarrassed to call each other and introduce their wives, fiances to each other? Just seems like something I would read in an Archie. Tom King's run has been subpar and this is just another example. If anyone wants the entire run I'll sell it to you, because i am just about done with this Batman.

Sometimes I feel like I've become exactly what I hate. Someone that dislikes something and yet keeps reviewing it, knowing that I don't like it. Frustrating. This was a well written book with great art, but it continues the emo batman that I am not a fan of. What happened to the worlds greatest detective?

Decent end to a not needed, somewhat confusing arc.

Can issue #50 get faster so I can drop this title already. All the Marvel hate and this series gets praised to the moon. Another issue with great art and an extremely underwhelming story.

Probably one of the worst comics ive ever read. If youre not really familiar with Booster, this comic doesn't really have any explanation as to whats going on and by time you do you realize what he did could have been done in a lot better manner. Besides the art this comic book is pretty horrible.

Surprisingly, this issue wasn't as bad as last. It actually had some fun with the concept that was so horribly introduced last issue. While this is no masterpiece whatsoever, It wasn't the head blow upper I read last issue.

Booster Gold is so annoying in this arc. I really don't have much to say other than I am glad it's over. Although, it did raise some neat alternate timeline type questions it was very unnecessary.

Probably the best King issue since I am Gotham. Although some of the ways Batman gets caught is kind of whack considering with prep time, this is the guy who could beat anyone. Anyway, the art is good as always, but the story for me was way better than that Booster garbage we got.

This was a really cool book. It was pretty much all dialogue, but it was done so well and creatively that it was fun to read throughout.

I thought the book was really well written and could have gone down as a classic if they just would have went through with the wedding. Kind of irritates me. There are some fantastic looking pages in this book, but overall a weird way to end it. Especially the last page.

I havent read a Batman issue since #50 as I just couldnt take Tom King anymore. I got this issue and it was definitely a step up. It laid the ground work and ill be back for the next issue.

Is it much better than Tom King yes but I think I'm just coming to the realization that I dont find Batman comics that good. Batman's just always too prepared or makes dumb simple mistakes depending on who writes him. We all know he will figure something out for the designer and although most super hero books work out this way its just more obvious in batman books. It just never feels like a daredevil where his backs against the wall and you wonder how they will get him out. Also the riddler and his scheme was just so on the nose it was pretty cringe.

Although there were some not so good parts it had some really good thoughts and ideas and actually had some twists that I enjoyed. There were some minor confusing parts but overall it has me ready for joker war.

It was interesting. It had some good parts and the next issue should be a good read. On a side note it does seem outlandish. Like the whole taking iver Gotham every big event for Batman. Its just to the point where I always question why anyone would ever live there. Also the joker suit is just plain ridiculous and why does the joker put ha ha ha on everything.

It was not bad and definitely not that great. Lots of oddly timed dialogue but overall enjoyable. I like rhe clownhunter for some reason but the ghost maker just feels so bland.

Pretty solid issue. I liked the ghost maker back story and the flashback but not much gets done. I do like clown hunter.

There were some ok parts but for the most part it felt uninspired. It felt to easy for ghost maker to just stop fighting. I like the concept but not well as well done as it could have been.

Great cover. Absolutely great art. The story was not the best thing ever but it was good and the scarecrow looked great. I liked the hints to the future state books.

The main story deserved a little higher grade bit the back up story brought it down. Ghost maker just doesnt seem like a likable character to me at all. Hes way too brash and explains what hes doing more than a villain. The main story was pretty good. I really like the art and they do a good job with the scarecrow.

I thought it was pretty good. It has its cliches but I found myself entertained reading it and liked the peacemaker part. Felt like they could have done much more with the scarecrow part and it kind of just moved on from it too quick. The back up story is once again wasteful.

I thought this was a pretty decent issue. I thought there were some good parts and also some really cheesy parts. Overall, it was enjoyable. Even the Ghost Maker story was ok.

The main story was pretty good. I really don't like the unsanity collective so as soon as the focus shifted from them it was pretty good. But the parts with Miracle Molly were just not every good at all and kind of corny. The back up story was ok but not worth the extra cash.

I didnt know what to expect after the mixed reviews. Definitely worth a read. The bane story and clown hunter story make it real worth it. Didnt really like the symbol and the rest were ok.

For a recap issue its pretty solid. I got what I needed out of it to start this event.

It brings some closure to the run. I can't say it was bad but, it's very generic and uneventful.

I really like this one and thought it was the best issue in the series so far. We finally got to see what the fuss is about the new suit that Bruce has been warning about, and the reveal at the end really leaves me interested. I enjoy Terry as Batman. He is a lot different than Bruce and that is what makes it fun. Overall, a good read and great addition to this arc.

This is a great action packed issue. This series has just been getting better with each installment. Not much in terms of advancing the story line, but that is not needed at this time. I thought the ending fit well and I can not wait for the next one. If the trend continues it should be even better.

Not a bad issue at all, just seemed kind of random at the time. Art was pretty good and like I said the story wasn't bad it just was not anything memorable either.

Really not as bad as everyone is saying and if it is that hard to follow for you... I kind of feel bad. While it was set up a lot different then most comics, it was a fun quick read with no real meaning. Art was pretty solid.

There is not much to Batman Beyond. The art is ok, but as for the story, the issues are pretty average.

A decent book that could be so much more. Could really use a reboot. The art is sometimes too cheesy and the story, as I said many times before, is not bad, but really not that good. I will dropping this title after next issue.

And my final Batman Beyond issue goes out with a subtle bang. Overall, this issue was good and brought some interesting stuff to the table, but it is a shame that this whole series was underwhelming and didn't live up to half it's potential. The art was never horrible, but nothing that stood out, same with the plot. So for now this will be my last issue of Batman Beyond!

It's a pretty boring chapter in terms of action but, it did have good moments that kept me invested.

It had some decent jokes, but also felt a little campy at times. It was fun. I just wish it would deliver more of a punch.

This is one of my favorite issues so far. I liked that we had a bunch of things come together that have been building. It seems like it's going to have a strong finish.

There's nothing to really complain about. It's fun issue. It has some emotion. I just felt like it had no stakes.

It's entertaining, but there is nothing here that makes it stand out as super unique besides the art. Joker is just giving corny dialogue, Batman turns his sulking around, the Robins bicker and being a family saves the day.

While this issue did not really further the Metal story line it did give us a great read with a lot of intrigue and interesting moments.

Maybe I did not get as angry as some because, I do not know the green lantern mythos whatsoever, but this was a fun book! Cool concept and one of the better looking tie ins.

One of the better tie-ins. I really like this version of Batman. Great story against Superman and gives a clear understanding on why this Batman is this way. With great art to go along with it, it makes a great story.

Probably the most difficult tie-in to follow. The art was all over the place and made the story not as enjoyable.

Kept getting better as it went on, and by the end, I was sold. Good concept, amazing Sorrentino art and solid read overall.

Surprisingly this was my favorite one. It was the easiest to follow and had a good background. I wish they would have shown a little more of the ending scene rather than explaining it, but I enjoyed this one very much! The art was pretty great too.

I thought this was easier to follow then the red death. This issue was very intriguing considering it is Alfred's death that turned Bruce into the Murder Machine. I thought the art here was absolutely awesome.

Wasnt what I was expecting but definitely a great looking book. The story itself was a little odd at times but the parts that were good were really good and it definitely set up a lot to come. I am curious as to where this takes place in the timeline. Just seems odd Batman finds out theres 3 jokers after years of not knowing and some how theres a joker compound and they are all in play. Im going to need some explanation as to the why now.

Im not sure I understand the ultimate endgame of this series which is only one more issue but it looks fantastic. Maybe the best looking book out now. In regards to the story it has some really good character moments and scenes and its very thought provoking. I didnt like bat girl nagging bruce about what to do about red hood killing a joker but other than that its an enjoyable. Just hope it leads to something purposeful in the next issue.

I liked it for what it was but it was kind of pointless and really and did nothing for this mystery overall.

This book was awesome. I really can't say anything bad at all. It was everything I could ask for in a twisted Batman story. The art was really good too. Definitely a unique style that fits the tone of the book and uses a dark color set. I have a feeling this will only get better.

A great batman story with Dark art that is really flipping the tables on a normal Batman tale.

This was well written and the art continues to amaze, but it's starting to veer away from why I was interested in this book in the first place. I thought The Joker went straight and would legitimately outsmart the people and take down Batman. He's still a villain just more clearheaded. He's still overly obsessed with Batman and still doing bad things to take him down, just in a different way. I guess I was just expecting something a little different based off the first issue. It's kind of like what they are doing with Norman Osborn over at Marvel.

This has been a good series so far. I liked this edition better than the last. The art continues to impress in this great story.

While hardly a bad book whatsoever, this whole series has really just changed a lot since the first and second issue.It became something, in my eyes, very different. It still is a pretty good story though with some great art and color. Next issue we will see how it all wraps up.

This was a really fun series. Each issue was definitely a worthy read and this capped it off nicely. The art was a strong point, some issues weren't as exciting as others, but overall I am satisfied with the story that was told here.

As much as I liked Secret Empire and Spencer's run, this Captain mag is just what is needed in its aftermath. First, the art is amazing. It's so clean and colorful I actually had to stop and check out some of those action pages. The story gets Steve back to his roots and is a good message for what Cap is about and stands for. The only nitpick I have and normally, I am not a huge stickler on continuity, but is this implying that Steve was only unfrozen 10 years ago, if so, that is is negating a lot of history set up by the early Avengers stories and kind of throws the timeline for. a lot of things off. Just wondering. Overall, a solid read.

Really good one shot with great art and color. The story is very humbling and gets the message across about who Steve Rogers is a person. Reminds of an old style 80's book.

I've been enjoying this alternate future tale. It has some good art and the story is pretty entertaining, it's nothing special, but it is a pretty good comic book.

I actually kind of like this story unlike some of the others on here. The only gripe I really have is that if Captain America doesn't return in the next/last issue, this whole thing to me is kind of pointless than. Who wants to read a Cap book with no cap? I've been a fan of Romero's art since Hawkeye so I'm pleased as well on that front.

It wasn't bad, but I'm giving it a lower grade due to no Captain America. It's not like I didn't enjoy the arc. I thought it was a lot of fun, but if there's no cap, why I am paying 4 bucks for a cap book with no cap??? Kind of disappointing, other than that a pretty cool eleworlds type story.

This was ok. It was kind of boring, but it looked good and had a decent premise and direction.

While I get the reviews of boring, because it isn't the most exciting book out, but the fallout of Secret Empire on Steve is being addressed and I loved Secret Empire. The art is really fantastic. One of the best drawn Cap's I've seen.

Probably the best issue so far. This book has an awesome feel to it. It's very movie like and actually is fully based off the aftermath of Secret Empire unlike any other book. Lenil Yu is one of my favorite artists and his Cap is just amazing. Overall, this series is heading in the right direction and it's a good time to hop on.

Although I wish lenil yu was still on the art the art remained solid for the tone of the book. The story continues to slowly build and I lobe the continuation of secret empire. Good read.

This cap run is moving slower than any other book out there but, it works and if Coates can take all these threads and really deliver, its going to be totally worth it.

I thought bendis books had little action and moved at a snail pace but, Coates is defintely giving him a run for his money. Some parts in this were just awkward and once again the plot moves extremely slow. Not really much going on in this book but overall has some charm and writing that is keeping me around.

Since yu left the art has been lacking. The story just needs to move on to something else. The power elite has been going on since issue 1 and I still have no idea why we are supposed to care. I think for what its worth this issue had some good parts but coates needs to move on from cap. Just boring overall.

There was a really good few pages but most of it drags a little. Please just get on to something more purposeful.

I feel a little bad giving this under a 7 but it definitely wasnt great. Some of the dialogue in this book is horrendously corny between Steve and Sharon. I did think that acuna on the art made a big difference and the red skull teases were pretty interesting.

The main story, eh. Its more Sharon than anything and its more of a learning issue. I really liked the back up story the best.

This was the first issue in a while I can truly say kept me engaged the whole time. Its definitely a solid read. The constant changing artists doesnt help and this art isnt what I normally picture for a cap book bit for what its worth the whole book was definitely a step in the right direction.

The first half was a chore that kept referencing thing Ive forgotten about due to the slowness of this story. The last half and especially the part with Fisk was really well done.

If you truly think about it. It took 30 issues to have a dinner. I for one have been very vocal about this pretty sub par Cap run but, there is something about this issue that I liked. Im really hoping the next writer does a more enjoyable run.

It's another book with cap talking about what the shield and America is. It's pretty typical stuff. Pretty corny ending.

I feel like this series and the other Cap book are going to get dropped soon. While I won't say it's bad or unreadable, it does have some things going for it. I just can't say it feels very compelling. It's just generic cap, with what tries to be a compelling mystery.

The plot was kind of whack, and so was the usual captain talk to bucky. The real selling point was the long action scene. It was wonderfully illustrated.

The ending had me intrigued, but I'm not falling for it. I struggled through Coates' run and told myself I can't do it again. I love Cap, but I'm hopping off. There is nothing exciting about this book. It's just campy dialogue and a dull adventure.

I might be extremely late. I am reading all of these before secret empire. I just read this and wow. Even after knowing how it ends this was a great comic and it was really cool to see how the seeds of this were planted. ( I am current with the thunderbolt )

Once again I am reading this while Secret Empire #0 is new on the shelf. The first issue I thought was great. It left me wanting to know so much more and how this massive shift in reality took place. You get the groundwork for that answer in this issue. The detail going into how Steve Rogers history has been altered is so intriguing to me. I cant wait for more of this series.

Reading this series from the beginning for the first time. After reading the third issue this has already become one of my favorites. I am a real big fan of slow burn and intricate stories. I have found me wanting to the read the next issue. This issue only further lays the groundwork for what expects to be one of cap's most interesting runs.

This issue was awesome. It is not so much a direct civil war 2 tie in. While the heroes are distracted it lays out time for for hydra cap to move closer to his plan. It also ends with a good surprise that leaves me wanting the next issue as always.

This story to me just kept getting better. I can not wait for Secret Empire!

The art is lacking compared to the rest of the series, but it is all made up for in story. I thought this was a great read from a different perspective than the other issues. A news reporter has an interview with none other than Supreme Leader Steve Rogers! It shows the concerns people have about the new regime and it also shows just how far Hydra will go to keep it. The whole attack in Vegas from Secret Empire seems to be a focal point and the repercussions of what happens when Steve Rogers is reminded of it is devastating! As much hate as this series/ Secret Empire has received, it is one of favorites of all time and I honestly can not wait to see how this goes/ ends.

I have been a huge fan of the Steve Rogers series thus far. This might be the lowest grade I have given one of the issues. It really isnt even bad whatsoever, I just feel like this issue could have been in Secret Empire. I did like the art and once again, the story was fine, I just was hoping for a little more maturation with Steve in his own books. It is cool to see him becoming colder as time goes on. Still a fan!

Not anything super bad, but not anything great either. I liked the art and story. It didn't further the plot, but did elaborate on some things. Definitely better than some of the previous tie-in issues.

The art was pretty great. The story was average. It didn't really do much in explaining why Falcon is Cap again but, it was entertaining enough to enjoy.

It's entertaining for sure. Fast paced. My issue is no explanation to why Sam is cap again, and some of the things the new Falcon did were just silly.

It was a little lackluster at the start. As the story progressed, it started to pick up and ended on a pretty decent note. It was a little generic but, it felt enjoyable.

This is one of those books that I can't say anything is really bad, buts it not overly exciting to read. It's a pretty middle of the road type read.

It's enjoyable for most of it. It just lacks stakes. It says it has them but, I don't take it as seriously as they write it.

It had some good dialogue in parts. It also had a very anticlimactic end to this arc. It's just good enough to keep reading, but hopefully it gives us more heart.

A little generic, but there is a charm to this book that keeps me coming back. Do I think it's great? No, but it does it's job well enough.

I must say, as much as part of me wants to stay, I have to drop both Cap books. The quality just isn't enough to justify it. I think this book has some good qualities. I think most issues have given some fun action. I just need to move on for now.

I actually really liked this. Thought it was well written, had good ideas and had some great panels to look at. Excited to see what comes.

It's dark, it's interesting but, it felt like it's missing just a little something.

There were some really good pages that had great visuals. The concept to me is interesting enough but, it's the writing that keeps you invested.

Ehh. This wasn't as good as the others in my opinion. They focused too much on the Elves for me too really care about what Carnage was doing.

Probably slightly better than last issue. Not by much. This was a pretty bad arc, in my opinion.

Every time we get a new issue I feel less interested. I like the first 2 or 3, but it just seems so off to me. I can respect the concept. I just need better execution.

This night be the best Carnage issue out of the last 4 or 5. I think this one gave the series a much needed boost. It was losing me. Now I feel like I should stick around a little longer.
