Mi reseña en español: Este cómic si me gustó, es genial volver a leer un cómic bien escrito de Supergirl en una serie en solitario luego de tanto tiempo. A un principio es algo pesimista y se ve a una Kara con frustraciones por las comparaciones que ha tenido, el fin de su mundo y actividades que no pudo hacer. Pero en la parte final del cómic cuando ella habla con Lois y Power girl, desarrollan muy bien y nos recuerdan cual es la esencia de Supergirl, de ser una de las mejores superheroínas porque ella hace el bien a pesar de todo, nunca mira a quién al momento de hacer las cosas correctas y nunca se siente menos o se compara con otros. Ella hace el bien porque es lo correcto, lo más moral y por el bien de la humanidad, o en este caso por todo el universo. Y es así que deja de lado los momentos lados luego de sentirse menos luego de tener a otra Kara que en sus pensamientos cree que es mejor y que por lo tanto ella es "peor"; o también al sentir que no encajar. Pero como mencionaba, luego de las charlas con Lois, Power girl o recordando la conversación con su padre, sabe que ella es tan valiosa como es, y no debe compararse con el resto. Y que tiene un destino por medio de sus dones de ser una superheroina que hara todo por salvar a cualquier forma de vida y por tener un universo justo. Ojalá luego de este especial, ella vuelva a tener una serie en solitario con una buena calidad como este especial y respetando la esencia del personaje como se hizo aquí. Sin duda este cómic y las últimas series de Superman han sido muy buenas y traen de regreso la esencia de los supers, dejando de lado versiones más oscuras o que juegan con el compas moral de estos personajes, lo cual es super innecesario y no queda con ellos. Tal vez con otros personajes como Red Hood, Damian Wayne u otros antiheroes. Pero con la superfamilia no queda. Así que es genial ver nuevamente que se tome el tono de esperanza en estos cómics de Superman, Supergirl y el resto de la Superfamilia. English version: I liked this comic, it's great to read a well-written Supergirl comic again in a solo series after so long. At first it is somewhat pessimistic and Kara is seen to be frustrated by the comparisons she has had, the end of her world and activities that she could not do. But in the final part of the comic when she talks to Lois and Power girl, they develop very well and remind us what the essence of Supergirl is, to be one of the best superheroines because she does good despite everything, she never looks at who when she should doing the right things and never feels less or compares himself to others. Maybe this could suit with other characters like Red Hood, Damian Wayne or other antiheroes. But with the superfamily it doesn't work. So it's great to see the tone of hope taken again in these comics of Superman, Supergirl, and the rest of the Superfamily.

Buena narrativa de Tom. Y buena creación de personaje, personalidad e ideales en Jon. Spoiler: Genial ver que hayan dos Superman y no hacer desaparecer al original.

Amazing outcome of Red Hood's story, looking forward to see more of him in Task Force Z and Titans. Also great story of Black Canary. Besides Deathstroke comic, I hope there will be a new Green Arrow and Black Canary ongoing series.

I liked this mostly, because Philip undoing Future State Superwoman. Glad to see that grim story is not more part of Kara mythos/canon. Philip characterization of Superwoman/Kara is great, finally we see again her heroics qualities :'D and fight with and for her family... And looks she is immortal like Kal-El. Thank you Philip for make justice with Kara, you're doing great things with her. Here and much more in your Action Comics ongoing title :D

Really enjoyed it. Great story and art. Much better in comparison of Superman title of this week written by the same author (edit: I forgot there is more authors beside PKJ in both titles. So great team up of Becky, Michael and Philip). And I loved Supergirl in this issue.

Why King always needs to make the life of the characters he write miserable? Or why he always want to make them murderous? :( Or other most important question, why DC still trying to make Kara's life miserable?? First with her last ongoing series in the last arc. Later Future Grim State, and now this. I was very hopeful for Kara future since good characterization of her in last Bendis run in Action Comics or in the new run of Phillip Kennedy Johnson where show morals and ideals of Supergirl. With True, Justice, compassion, diplomatic and everything who represents House of El and Supers. Poor Krypto, I hope he won't die. To be fair the characterization of Kara is faithful to the comics and her legacy in a good percentage of this issue, but in the last part everything is ruined. In any case I liked a lot King's works like Superman Up in the Sky, Mister Miracle, Sheriff of Babylon. But murderous Kara is not Kara :/... And I feel sad this company continue trying to give her a grim future, at the same time that looks like she will return to her heroics and optimystic roots (Action Comics). I hope the conclusion of this miniseries give her a happy ending with a bright future to her. I gave it a 7.5 because the awesome Bilquis artwork (I love it) and faithful heroics characterization of Kara in it, before the conclusion of this issue. Let's hope the final number of this miniseries give a happy and hopeful life and future to Kara.

Amazing first issue of this new run. And I love Dick and Babs dynamics, I hope to see how continue growing their relation and retake their marriage looked in Death Metal.

Another amazing work of Chip. Yesterday Red Hood, and today Daredevil. Great week.

Had excellent story and messages. But also has flaws in this. But overall good ending for this series.

I had so high expectations for this comic, because Superman world of wars was great. But I expect it would be better.

Amazing story of Red Hood. One of the best about this character. Give him a new solo series writed by Chip. And entertaining story of The Grifter.

I love how most of her last 5-6 years comic series were amazing. I hope this will have 2 dozens of issues more.

Borra esto, es muy sad. :( Escribiré esta review en español para expresar mejor mis opiniones, sentimientos sobre este cómic. Si bien me parece genial que al final se haya superado esa trama sin sentido de Kara sintiéndose triste por no ser Superman. Sino reconociendo que ella es la única e inigualable Supergirl, y que ese es su nombre o su manto. Que los mantos no existen, y cada uno puede formar su propia persona, su propio superheroe, nombre de superheroe, alterego. Y que cada uno puede ser grandioso o grandiosa siendo uno mismo, sin querer ser otro. Y como ella al final acepto la luz y continuar ayudando a la gente. Todo esto fue un elemento acertado en el cómic. Igualmente, el arte me parece bueno. Sin embargo el cómic continua con la narrativa de poner a Supergirl en contra de su familia, de Superman, Superboy y el resto. Poniendo una historia innecesaria de hacer que estos se peleen y dejen de llevarse. A pesar de que Kara, Kal, Jon, Lois y el resto de su super-familia se han llevado muy bien a lo largo de los años, en décadas de desarrollo. Siendo una familia fuerte que lucha por el bienestar del otro, por resolver los problemas y tristezas que puedan vivir. Por ayudar a las personas, el planeta. Lo cuál incluso en el último run de Bendis en Action Comics fue visto. Donde permanecía la Kara alegre, jovial y optimista que todos conocemos y amamos. Luchando en familia y con sus amigos contra las amenazas que estas representaban para la superfamilia, el mundo. Incluso en el cómic de Superman of Metropolis, Kara y Jon hacen las paces y retoman su relación familiar y parece que trabajarán juntos en el futuro por defender al planeta y a cada uno. PERO NO. Todo eso fue destrozado en este mini comic elseworld. Creí que al final acabarían con ese narrativa de Kara, Superman, Superboy alejándose de cada uno. Pero continuaron con esa historia, incluso con Kara llegando a fallecer sin su familia. E incluso llegando a fallecer sin sus amigos, sus parejas del pasado, como podría ser Brainiac 5, Mon-el y otros. Simplemente todos esos personajes que alguna vez fueron amigos/cercanos/amigas de Kara desaparecieron por siempre de su vida, así sin más. Eso y lo anterior realmente me entristeció de este cómic. Regresa en parte el optimismo al final, pero continuando con la historia de Kara sin su familia y amigos. Incluso falleciendo sin ellos. Bennet se ve que es una buena escritora en sus otros trabajos. Pero realmente deseo qué, en caso de que alguna vez vuelva a haber un cómic de Supergirl (mi superheroína favorita), Bennet no sea la escritora de esta. No entiende por completo al personaje, y se decidió por seguir la ruta oscura. Ojalá esto quede solamente como un mal recuerdo de un elseworld que se le ocurrió alguna vez a alguien en darlo luz verde. Y se respete su canon. Arte: 8 Historia: 3 PUNTUACIÓN FINAL: 5,5 Pd: Regresa Sterling Gates, o Peter David, ustedes escriben muy bien a Supergirl, ustedes la entienden y conocen, saben lo importante que es su familia para Kara. Incluso Marc Andreyko escribió una mejor historia (divertida con su amigo/interés Znd'r y con su mascota Krypto). La cuál fue desachada luego por otra historia oscura de Kara, que medio mejoró al final de su último volumen. Solo espero que el siguiente o la siguiente escritora que tome el cómic de Supergirl conozca al personaje y respete su canon, lore. Pd2: Y ojalá que si alguna vez Supergirl vuelve a tener un cómic en solitario o sus futuras apariciones, ella siga siendo la Kara esperanzadora, optimista y con grandes lazos con su familia, amistades y parejas. Ojalá se vaya al futuro con Brainiac5 y la Legión de Superheroes. Ellos eran geniales juntos, una pareja poderosa, inteligente y llena de esperanza. Esto último más por qué los dos son mi ship xD jaja (junto con mi otro ship favorito: JayKara)

I liked the main story and art of this tale about Superman. And Philip Johnson Kennedy's characterization of Superman is good. It's looks he will do a good job with his stories in the canon books (or at least better stories of Bendis). The rest of stories looks like filler, though I like Midnighter mini story.

Supergirl is my favorite Superheroine, but this comic is really bad, only the art save a little this. I don't know why dc or this writer continue trying to sell us this dark, sad and unhopeful Kara. I'm sad who DC still trying to sells us this. Even in this Elseworld they destroy his good relation with his cousin's family. This is not Supergirl. If Supergirl will have again in some point a new series I hope she will be the hopeful, enthusiastic, charismatic and heroic Supergirl who everyone knows and love. And will be good if she team up with the Legion of Superheroes, and his long time partner Brainiac5 aka Querl Dox.

Amazing run.
