Kind of pointless until the reveal

For me, this just doesn't feel anything like the X-Men.

Any comic you could describe before even reading it isn't a comic I enjoy.

I really wanted to finish out this series, but it sure seems to be losing stream just drifting.

Art is only thing I liked

At this point, clearly a money grab

Obvious ending but still satisfying arc.

This series is very disappointing so far

Super dialogue heavy with a simplistic plot (despite a large cast of characters). I wish the reading had been "smoother"

That was the end of the arc? What? It was bad.

The "humor" just isn't funny...like the recent movies, it is trying too hard. Magik fighting with Juggernaut makes sense. The two of them fighting like 8 year olds doesn't. Scott, who is a master tactician, won't even listen to his dad when his dad is like "wait, this part is important". Not believable. But the bones of the plot itself are good, which keeps me reading.

Art was decent. I wanted more from a Yost story.

For a series that had innovative approaches to ideas, the ending doesn't quite nail it. Pretty predictable.

This was really good. If I was nitpicking, I'd rate it lower because the dialogue between the teens was so cringy. No 15 and 16 year olds say "15 and a half" or "16 and a half". It took me out of the story and all I could think was Hickman is out of touch. But in the end, it was really good. I don't like the big think near the end, but I understand how it adds tension.

It felt like pages were missing.

It read like they had to take panels out because they ran out of room. It was weird.

Wasn't bad..just seemed skippable until the last pages

Still good but so rushed

The dialogue was distracting at times.

The ideas were good, but the choppy switching from story to story was distracting

Don't think too hard, juat sit back and enjoy.

Continuing the snail pace

It was a strange read as it went through text boxes back to dialogue back to text boxes...the best part was Jean and Scott talking and showing the humanity and almost godhood at once.

This wasn't for me. Lots of silly. Lots of "doesn't this panel impress you". Lots that doesn't make sense.

So little happens in these issues. I'm beginning to feel like I'm spending a lot to get so little.

First issues are hard, but sadly this didn't make me feel like I can't wait for more.

Muddled

It was fine, but just fine.

I feel like Duggan can be very good, or not. It feels like when he is focused, it comes together well. When things feel rushed or he's simply trying to get to a certain point, it fails.

All that for the ending we got?

Good issue, but the ending was expected, but we are treated like it was a surprise.

Wow. This is incredibly bad. Weird jokes in the fighting. Plot points that make no sense. While I think Duggan had good issues, this one is not it.

All that build up with Feilong and then this? What?

Another good issue, but the story is slight. Everything we read could've been three pages and given us more.

Pretty disappointing issue. Not a lot happened, so skipping this issue wouldn't have made a difference.

The ideas were fine, but poorly paced and written. I dislike the way older Beast was concluded. I would've preferred more definitive answers.

Definitely a silly "event", but there were good parts, like the ending.

Lots of words. For me it could be two pages and accomplish everything that it did.

Back up story was better than main

So many words and if you skip 80% of them, the book is the same.

There's plot, but there is zero characterization. The team could be replaced with another team mid way and we wouldn't have noticed because each one was super generic.

Yikes. Very rushed. This could've been 100 pages and been more enjoyable. Nothing was earned and there were even good ideas, but we breezed through it all.

Despite a few good ideas,it was an unsatisfying and silly wrap up
