The reunion part is too good to be true.

I had no doubts this will be good. But I definitely didn't expect it to be THIS good. Tom King once again shows his incredible talent and Lee Weeks' art is perfect for this story. The backup story was great and funny as well, which felt like right from the classic episodes of the Looney Tunes. When I think about it, issues like this is why I read comics.

This is absolutely genius. Exactly the stuff I've expected from Hickman.

Series like this come once in a decade, at best. This is part of the comic book history now.

I had literally zero doubts that this will not be amazing. I am really hoping that this will top Vision (my probably favorite series this decade). King and Gerards are one hell of a team.

It just keeps on going.

Without repeating what other's have said, this book is a wonderful piece of art. The characters' emotions are portrayed so perfect, that you easily feel what they are feeling. Being Scott is suffering.

Just amazing. Only a few can render the character's emotions so easily, and King and Gerads are definitely one of them.

The dialogues were great and the overall paneling is stunning. The ending was crazy. This was an amazing ending of an arc and, knowing the creators, the second one will be only better.

If you think reading a whole issue about Big Barda giving birth (quite graphic at times as well) would be a bit weird, you're damn right. But it's just written so well that it just works. Don't know if it's just me, but I feel that there's quite some foreshadowing in this issue about all this not ending well for Scott (though it's a book by Tom King, so it's pretty much a given).

Oh god please let Scott be fine.

As usual, there must definitely be some messed up things going on in King's book.

Incredible. What a twist at the end. I am lost for words and I really want to read the next issue.

"Darkseid is." "Yeah, I know. But we are too." What did just happen here? It's not an easy read, but damn, this is everything the series has to offer. It's a masterpiece, and I thank King and Gerads for creating it. It is safe to say that this is already a modern classic.

Great first chapter to the follow-up of what is arguably the best story in comics of all time. Geoff Johns lays the foundation very precisely here, with Gary Frank's art looking stunning here. This is going to be one amazing and very wild ride. Let's go.

Johns definitely knows what he is doing. Not a single bad panel here. No ads in the whole issue, just the story. Loving every moment of this and I am happy to know that this will continue for the whole year.

This is great. Not too excited about the delays, but if it continues to go as strong as it does now, the collected edition will be one of the greatest books of this decade, if not all time.

It's been quite a long wait for this issue, and it's definitely not something that some wanted. But John's writing is so strong, that it's just a pleasure to read. Frank's art only makes it even better. Though this issue didn't move the story anywhere, it was still a very important piece of background, and I am certain that the next issue will be as good.

It's finally here and it's better than ever. Seriously. Every single page was spot on, things finally start to move forward and the last couple pages couldn't leave more excited. Too bad there's quite a wait for the next issue, but we should get used to it.

Here's the thing: the issue itself was great and this was definitely one of the greatest origin story I've probably ever read. It was done so well that you start wishing for a series starring these two characters. But when a book comes out once in a blue moon, I definitely understand people being angry about this, as the story did not move much. Probably a tie-in issue in between the main issues would've been a better way to release this origin story, but I don't mind - I just want a good story that's worth my money, and this issue is just what I need.

There we go, now this one will definitely won't leave anyone saying how this series isn't what they expected it to be. This is definitely the best issue so far. Will the next ones be as good? I'd easily bet on that. That bi-monthly schedule is killing me, I'd happily pay a significant amount of money to know what happens next.

While I do understand why some might feel that this was a slower issue, it's still a great read, as always. Superman is finally upfront, and-- fuck it, it is finally happening, guys.

After 14 years of waiting, we finally are able to read this issue, and damn it was worth the wait. Both Johns and Frank are at the top of their game, with so much happening. Things are still building, but it's happening, at last. And that one scene where all the heroes are attacking Dr Manhattan? Loved it. This is why I fell in love with comic books.

It was so worth the wait. Everything that was said about this issue is absolutely true, it sure is a masterpiece. This will read even better in a collected edition. I cannot wait for the next issue, which is due sometime next year.

Even with all the delays, this is a one fantastic story. A real modern classic. I just really hope this isn't the end for some of the characters involved.

So good having this book back.

Amazing.

What a great introduction. Eerie and dark, this is where this creative duo thrives. I had no doubts that this will be good and I was still surprised.

While slightly slower than the previous issue, this was still an amazing instalment to this intriguing story.

The mystery keeps on building, loving this dark tone of the book. The story is progressing, but not too fast, which I find very fitting for this book.

Absolutely fantastic, as expected. Can't imagine a better artist for a story like this than Sorrentino. Trippy, creepy and compelling. I cannot wait for October to read what's next. If you haven't read this series yet, pick up a trade when it comes out and come back for issue 7.

Pure insanity in a comic book format.

Another great story to the overall wonderful Metal story. The story was great and gave us a deeper look into the whole Dark Multiverse and Barbatos. Even though it's supposed to be a oneshot, I'd recommend everyone reading the main story not to miss it. With the extra pages and the somewhat foil cover, the book feels quite heavy and very much worth the extra dollar.

This was probably the best oneshot of the bunch. A truly creepy and cruel Batman, with an intriguing story and great art that really works the story. I've got a feeling this character will continue appearing even after the Metal is over, given how popular it is.

Yes, please. As expected, Cates writes a great story and Moore's artwork really suits it. It's trippy without being too incomprehensible, it's smart without being too pretentious. Reminds me a lot of Black Bolt's solo series we had not too long ago, which I've absolutely loved. Hopefully this book can continue the momentum going.

I've just caught up on these two issues and this is by far the best Hulk series in a very long time. The story is absolutely fantastic and the artwork just makes it even better.

Felt like a proper Spidey book straight from the Silver Age. I'm really keen on this idea of Spidey ageing in real time, but the bigger pay off from this issue will probably start from the next issue, once we actually see what's happening in the next decade. I must also mention that I've absolutely loved Bagley's art here, as per usual.

This was just incredible. As Spidey is my favourite character ever, I am enjoying this even more. I honestly wish more characters would get a similar book to his one, as it's such a great concept.

Jesus, Peter would've had a pretty depressing life if he would've aged in real-time, eh? I'm loving this, and Zdarsky definitely knows how to throw that emotional punch.

I was very excited for this book, as Daniel Warren Johnson always delivers, but my god this was even better. Full of great action, dramatic moments, and simply amazing art. Cannot wait for more.

My god was this fantastic. Everything here was incredible - the story, the writing, the artwork. Great mixture of comedy, drama, and just general space adventure. I'm bummed this is only a mini-series, as I'd love a full run of this.

A damn great introduction to this world. I've never read any Criminal before, but I did not feel lost reading this one at all. I'm already hooked and cannot wait for more.

Jumping from one story to another when the book is only on it's second issue is quite a bold move, but it was executed so well that I have no complaints about it.

Exactly what I've expected from this book - a more street-level story, compared to the main book. And Tom Taylor perfectly manages to capture this whole setting. Spidey definitely reads like himself, and the background characters are not too bad either. Cabal's artwork is great as well, it really suits the tone of the book. The backup story will probably be the main story of this book moving forward, and while it's not new, I am very sure it will be interesting to see where it goes from here. Overall, a very good start. Can't remember the last time all Spider-books were this good.

I was expecting this book to be a bit more street-level than ASM, but this is a complete opposite of that. However, it's so good that I do not mind it at all.

Great conclusion to this arc, Cabal's art was as great as always. The next issue will probably be quite emotional.

Not what I've expected it to be, but maybe that's for the better. I know what it's like to have a close family member dealing with such things, and how that hope for them to get better never disappears. This is what this issue was about. With just enough of comedy, it's a very great read, suggesting that we will definitely be seeing more of this, and while it will not be always too pleasant for the characters involved, it will, hopefully, be fine in the end.

Modern classic. Issues like this come out once in a long time. I'm not going to spoil anything, just do yourself a favour, and pick this one up. It's a completely stand-alone story, which requires absolutely no previous reading. Taylor and Cabal are one hell of a duo.

At times I was not really certain what was happening but I really like it so far.

Action packed and extremely exciting. Can't wait for more, but not sure if the next couple issues will be the same without Opena's art.

This was a slightly different issue compared to the previous one, but a good one nonetheless. Harren's art worked here well, but the difference from Opena's was clearly visible. I love how Remender is fleshing out the world here. It feels like there's so much about this world, that one book might not be enough.

The story is moving forward and the characters continue to be evolved. Love how fast paced and still rich in story this book is.

Opena's art is stunning and it really works with the story. The ending of this arc was great and I am still amazed of how Remender manages the flesh out the world with every issue yet still managing to move the story forward. It's a long wait until the next issue now, but I can bet that it's going to be worth the wait.

So the book comes back after almost a year long break, and it's just as incredible as ever. Man, how I've missed it.

This might be just the deepest world ever created in such a short time (I mean, it's only on the 11th issue?). The story is moving forward and so much is happening around it. Loving it.

I keep repeating this every time I read a new issue of this book (which I really wish would happen a bit more often), but oh god, this is such an incredible read.

It might be quite difficult to grasp what's going on consider that a new issue comes out once every millennia, and the story is very dense, but goddamn, this is just epic. I am very sure this might end up as Remender's magnum opus. Of course, this will read incredibly well in a collected edition. As teased by the final page, the next arc will be the final one? Or it might be just and end of a certain chapter of the story. Whatever it is, it will be great and I am very excited about it.

Great start of the story. Snyder and Capullo are one of the greatest duos in the industry right now. However, knowing them, it could go downhill and become too complex, but so far it's been great.

This made me realise how much do I miss the mature version of Superman.

I want this to continue.

This book seems to be exactly what the current canon needs right now - more stories about unexplored time periods. The writing here is strong, with some great artwork and plot twists. Really excited to see where this goes.

Started out kind of slow and repetitive, yet this issue managed to remind the readers why this is one of the best series that Marvel has to offer.

Another great start of a new story by Chip Zdarsky. Quite a dark story, but it works here very well. Loving the artwork.

Jesus, I'm finally on board with this book. It's dark, intense, and so so good. I cannot wait to read more. I wish this was a MAX book, so that it could get even darker, but this is as close as we can get to that.

Yet another great issue. While not as good as the previous one, it maintains the pace and the tone and keeps moving the story forward.

I've never been the biggest fan of Daredevil, but in just five issues, Chip Zdarsky made me fall in love with the characters. This is an incredible, emotional issue. Where will this go next? I have no clue! But I am eager to find out!

In my opinion this was a step up from the previous issue. Saladin Ahmed's deep storytelling seems to be kicking in and Ward's art really fits it, creating an interesting atmosphere.

The story is moving forward in a good pace. Though it might seem slow at times, it all adds up. As always, Ward's art is especially great in this issue as there were more action scenes, and Ahmed's strong narrative makes me want to come back for the future issues.

I don't read much of the modern Marvel these days, but from what I've read, this is one of their best, if not THE BEST, books at the moment. I'm really glad that this wasn't a stealth mini, as the series is supposed to continue with Legacy.

Artwork was even more stunning and the conclusion was great (together with the emotional parts). The whole series could've easily ended with this issue, but I am more than happy to see it continuing further.

Great story, as always. But the art! If there's anyone that can replace Christian Ward on this book, it's Frazer Irving. Without any doubt, this book continues the best book Marvel is currently publishing.

Great as always. I've said it countless times, but the art is just fantastic. And my god, what a cliffhanger. I'm really worrying that this will end with the 12th issue, but if so - it's definitely an amazing book.

Pretty much a build-up for the conclusion, though a very good one. We get some great characterization and surprise reveals (I mean, have you seen that last page??), and Ward's art was astonishing. I'm a bit bummed to know that this is ending with the next issue, but I am certain that it will go out with a bang.

What an amazing ending. I was very hesitant to pick up the first issue, and now, a year later, I am sad to read the final issue of one of my favorite current series. Ahmed has become one of my favorite writers and I will be continuing to follow him, and Ward has once again proven why he is one of the most interesting artists in the industry today.

A strong start with lots of things going on, lots of building up and a very nice progression of the events. It certainly feels like this will be an incredibly massive event with lots of repercussions. Capullo's art seemed pretty rushed here and not as stunning as it was on his Batman run, but still a good choice for the story.

Snyder is going all in on this. It feels like the majority of New 52 and even some of the events before it were leading to this. It just feels so natural. Amazing. And it's only the second issue. This is how you do an event, Marvel.

Can't remember the last time an event was so much fun. Snyder writes whatever the hell he wants, and it is so good. Things like Detective Chimp sitting in a bar, or the whole C.D./D.C. thing left me speechless for how good it was. And from the events of the few last pages, it seems that it's only going to get better.

Still as crazy as before, but getting rather confusing to follow with how much is going on.

How will they end it in only two issues?? It's been really great so far, one of the best events in a long time, and I really don't want to see it end abruptly.

I thought that there's no way everything will be resolved in a single issue. I was wrong. This was all sorts of crazy, and I really loved it. Metal was probably the best event in quite a long time. Can't wait for No Justice.

Absolutely loved this book. Stunning artwork and a very lovely story that ties the Japanese folk tales with the Marvel universe. Really glad this isn't a one-off, the next book cannot come sooner.
